I called to ask for a quote to re-wire an entire home and less than 10 seconds into the phone call I was told by the receptionist, We are not interested in giving quotes, and hung up on. I have never been hung up on by a business when asking for their business. Avoid this company.

Steve and Blake did a great job installing new lights on either side of my garage door. There was no electrical source on either side of the garage door so they ran electrical cable through walls, installed a switch inside garage. Their attention to detail was appreciated. They also trouble shooted a doorbell that only worked occasionally. They did a great job determining that the issue was the actual electrical cable. I appreciate the quality of their work. They also left everything clean.

I don’t know what their work is like for homes, but they are definitely not qualified for commercial at any level. I am a fair business owner and professional, but they should have never accepted this “gig”. Not employees fault.

This has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a contractor. The quality of the work was substandard, the attitude I got from Danny- as they blatantly tried to job-change scam me -was unprofessional, and the additional work that needed to be done all led to this. They did structural damage to my home, they didn't do the job as they said they would, and then refused to finish without charging me more money.

I was EXPLICITLY clear with these folks when they quoted me that I did not want to retain 1 single component from the original panel. We failed inspection because they didn't install AFCI breakers. They blamed the county inspector... Only one of two situations is possible from this... They don't know local building codes, or they do this on purpose to claim a job-change and charge more. Either one reflects extremely poorly on this company. They then proceeded to tell me it would be another $500 to do the job to code. To reiterate, they didn't finish the job I was quoted for, then claimed they needed an additional $500 to finish it. I was originally willing to pay it to just get it done. After asking for some clarification from Danny and getting chewed out, I realized this was going to be far more than $500 before they would finish the job. They were planning on taking me to the cleaners. I refused to continue with them.

I was also very clear when getting the quote that the line could not be run through the attic. Danny assured me this would be fine. They ripped a giant hole in my ceiling and left it wide open, because they went through the attic. They also destroyed a load bearing stud, one they used to mount the panel. I will never forget showing this to Danny, and he looked me dead in the eye and said its not structural. They just used that very stud to mount the panel. It also was supporting roof beams. Unbelievable! They also didn't install the panel according to the manual, leaving enough space for drywall. They installed it flush to the studs. It had to be moved. Additionally, they didn't mount the panel bus into the panel! They completely left out the screws to retain the bus. They called for an inspection with the panel bus floating in the panel!

The way they ran the line from the meter and along the house looked horrid. It looked like a drunk high schooler had hung Christmas lights, only it's a 200amp electrical line. I insisted they clean it up, but they never sealed all the holes they drilled through the siding, making a huge water infiltration hazard.

They also billed me before the job was done. Every step of the way with this company was unprofessional. This job very nearly ended in litigation. Unless you're willing to finalize your contract with the assistance of lawyers, AVOID NERD HOME!

Cortes Electric was professional friendly and clean. Some companies I’ve had come through have been a mess! I am very grateful Jose wasn’t that way. The work that was done is top notch. The lights were installed handsomely. Thank you.

I had a simple issue that could have resulted in a lot of money flowing from my pockets. Paul promptly called me back and guided me to the hidden GFI switch in my garage. He could have sent out a guy & charged me hundreds of dollars to simply press a switch and/or repair something that didn’t need repair. His responsive service has made Jax Electrical Contracting my go-to electricians for all my future needs.

Joshua was pleasant to work with very knowledgeable in his craft, he came in and got right to work. I had several switches that had gone bad and he fixed them all quickly, I was very happy with the price. They have my business, I will definitely call on them again in the future.

Levi and David were on time, kind, professional and patient when asking questions. They cleaned up and made everything right. I will be using this company from now on because of them.

LIGHTING UPGRADE WAS NEEDED IN OUR HOUSE. KENNY CAME OUT AND MADE SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT WOULD LOOK AND WORK WELL. THE UNDER COUNTER LIGHTING IS AMAZING AND NOW I CAN CONTROL ALL MY LIGHTS IN THE HOUSE WITH MY PHONE. THE WIFE LOVES THE SUNSET DIMMING. THE CREW DID A GREAT JOB!

Came late on a Friday afternoon when our oven started sparking. Identified the problem quickly, solved it, and provided us with a part we didn’t have (even though it wasn’t part of the problem). Truly a joy to interact with, I’ll never call anyone else.

Quality professionals! Asked the owner to quote a whole laundry list of tiny projects, none big enough for a visit on their own, but altogether a full day. Gave me an all in quote, showed up when they said they would, and knocked it all out with no problem! Even pointed out several DIY issues left by the previous owner and fixed the craziest ones. Got it done in the timeframe they quoted and cleaned up after themselves. 10/10, have already used their services again!

I love my company! They do so much for their workers. Kept everything smooth during the 2020 Pandemic crisis. I never want to leave.
