I am opening a coffee shop without a general contractor for the buildout. Halfway in my electrician bailed the job. I then have dealt with many electricians in town to finish the job and have realized how much you can be ripped off by these guys. Finally I found Dennis and Laura. Best people I have ever met. They charge you for the fair amount, not trying to scare you with other potential problems just to make more money. Try other electricians and you will know! These are honest and genuine people, and I really appreciate them considering how cruel the construction market is..

Mid-West has proven to be a 5 star electrical contractor over the years with many completed jobs. Nothing but praise for their attention to detail and quality of work. Would recommend them highly.

Nextdoor has been a breath of fresh air. They have immediate appointments available and their electricians show up during the window quoted. The electricians we have had the pleasure of interacting with are knowledgeable, honest, and respectful (Tae, Salat, and Andres). Salat, in particular, took his time to discuss the issues he found with us and made some great recommendations. We will gladly use Nextdoor for our electrical needs.

The electrician did a fantastic job installing new outlets, switches, and sockets for me and was extremely friendly. Anyone who needs electrical work done should absolutely contact him!

I can't imagine ever using a different electrician after seeing the incredibly high quality work performed by Oscar, along with Christopher. We bought a 100+ year old, 4000+ sf house, and they *completely* updated the electrical system throughout every room and every floor. The electrical system of this house can now last for another 100 years or more! Additionally, they were thoughtful and creative about the placement of the panel (which had to be updated, of course), and are tournament-level fishermen in terms of looping the new wiring through walls and ceilings. I thought that we were going to end up with major cuts in the walls in every room, and instead the cut-outs were so minor that repairing them afterwards was almost effortless. These guys are incredibly skilled technicians, of course, but they are also electrical artists - wow!(I meant to send in this review 3 weeks ago - I'm so sorry I didn't, and I'm going to use being busy moving as my excuse! It certainly isn't lack of enthusiasm, since I *love* the work they did.)

I was referred fo them by family ! He had a great experience with a single electrician who came and got the job done ! I got sent a team of 3, the lead lied about how the outlet needs to go over the roof and gave an unrealistic fake situation to over charge us. Tried reaching out to the owner and help desk to hear various excuses ! Charging 1700$ for installing a Tesla wall plug which costs $400 is outrageous! They ended connecting using a 8ft cord but quoted us a 50 ft quote ! Will try this method and will be reaching out to Texas licensing authority in Austin !

Told Burt what was going on with the house. There was miscommunication and the problem was not taken care of after spending $5300.00. Now they want an additional $1000.00 to fix the problem. That was a deal offered after they quoted me $1600.00 Apparently I need additional work and Bert made a note on the stating I denied the initial work only after asking Burt if what I needed was essential. He said no. So why would I agree to pay $5300 not an additional 1600 to get the electric up to par? I will never use Mr. Electric or their parents sister company Mr. Rooter, who never answers the phone by the way ever again.

Rip off. They wanted to charge me $80 for a $15 dimmer. When I questioned the price, thus said that the owner (Nathaniel) sets the prices and they have no control.Do not use unless you like being ripped off. They have lost a long term customer today.

This was the most horrible electrician I've ever called. Mr. Sparky has been bought out and new owner. The electrician they sent out was fiddling with my electrical outlets and now been burdened with an enormous repair with another company. He did NOT know what he was doing. He was all over the map on his quote and kept back peddling when asked with a question. The quotes came back all over the map and was $$$ exhorbitant for what was needed. Not only have I now been saddled with enormous damage from the electrician at my home but I called the owner back, asked for the owner. He never called me back, sent his wife to call me. She laughed at me on the phone, refused to return my $89 service call and said they pride themselves on making money 100-200/week calls of $89. They are looking at volume and not integrity. The old Mr. Sparky reputation is gone. Mr. Sparky is no longer the owner. I would never recommend this company. Horrible! Customer beware!
