Jorge was sent to help assist us and he was so kind, patient and professional. Provided some of the best customer service I’ve had in a very long time. He took his time to explain to us terminology, the mechanics of our home wiring and answered every question. Hopefully we don’t encounter any future problems concerning electrical work but if we do I highly recommend this company and to ask for Jorge. He mentioned his background and schooling to us which was awesome to know as new homeowners we have skillful and quality craftsman working in our home, you would never guess his years of experience because of how confident and knowledgeable he is.The responsiveness in scheduling was quick and everyone we spoke to was just as kind. I do also appreciate how they keep constant communication regarding ETA, any changes and their overall service! Overall we are very satisfied.

Jeremy was professional & inspected the power panel & gave me his recommendations on upgrading the systems. Very polite & knowledgeable. He gave me 3 quotes as to what type of service needed to be done. I am preparing to sell the family homestead & needed an array of information & pricing at this point before making any decisions. He also recommended other services, like A/C, which had already been taken care or, & various financial payment plans available. And he mentioned the April discounts that could be applied.

John arrived on time. He was respectful and professional. He assessed and took care of the issue. He even gave me some tips on keeping my electrical fixture running smoothly. I have previously used this Company and the fees are reasonable but this time the cost seemed a little expensive. I am satisfied with the job done.

Baron was absolutely amazing! We had faulty electrical that wiped out half our home with no lights! He was soo professional and absolutely great at his job! His knowledge and skills of all things electrical were endless! He pays extra attention to every detail and explained everything that he found and fixed, to keep my family safe!! Response was prompt. The electrician did his job, no complaints. However, all I needed was to replace the ballast on a 4-tube florescent light. Worker first told me that the ballast was odd or unusual. Next he tried to upsell me on either replacing the whole fixture or refitting it for LED lights. I refused. Turns out he actually had the ballast needed in his van. Total cost for a 30 minute repair job? $454 even after a $69 discount! Total ripoff. Get estimates from somebody else before you hire these guys.

Baron was very informative and explained exactly what needed to be done without overselling me service. But he was also very honest about what I needed to do to bring my panel up to code. I am very happy he made it out promptly, within a few hours notice.

Jamieson Sippee did a great job! First upon entering our home he placed booties over his boots. We had a breaker trip & after testing the breaker he then tested all the outlets affected until he found the problem. We appreciated his methodical approach and after he was done he vacuumed up afterwards. Everything was working again, and because it was warranty work, which he verified before starting the job, we only had to pay for the service. Very professional, courteous, and explained everything he was doing. We would recommend Jamieson to anybody with an electrical problem. Thank you Jamieson for your prompt, professional work.

We had three electrical outlets go out in the house. I called up another company first and they immediately put me on hold. I didn't want that type of experience, so I looked up on Google reviews. Mister Sparky had an amazing rating so I called and immediately got a person, they're extremely nice and set an appointment. The technician showed up the next day and was extremely personable explain how he would figure out what the problem was first then give us an estimate. We agreed on a price he did the work fast and efficient and took care of the problem. I definitely will be using Mister Sparky in the future for electrical needs. An amazing experience all around.

What is amazing young man that is so honest and so passionate about his company and the work that he does. I fell in love with the company just by the words that he spoke of them. But when he came into our home he was so honest about what our needs were and what you didn’t need. He did not try to over sell me on anything that I didn’t need. I was so impressed with him that I asked for him again. And because he represents his company I am going to changeover from John Moore my HVAC to their company. John was very helpful and knowledgeable. I told him what I needed. He listened to what I wanted and then presented a few options. They were very good options, actually better solutions than what I had described to him. The option I picked was logically a better solution and would cost a lot less than my solution. He could have just done just what I wanted, but he didn't. He saved me a lot of money.

John, my electrician was really great. He explained things well, and was both competent and courteous. But I will not be using Mr. Sparky again, because their cost structure is crazy. They don't charge by the hour, but a flat fee for the job - so if I had done all the work I called them out for, my cost would have been over $300 an hour.

Justin was a huge help - he performed a myriad of repairs and installations at my home. He repaired damaged outlets, restored my circuit breaker, and installed ceiling fans and LED lights. He was friendly and knowledgeable, explaining what he was doing and teaching me a thing or two about how electricity works in a household.I will definitely be using them again in the future if I have any further electrical issues, and would recommend Mister Sparky to anyone who has need for an electrician.

Came out 5 years ago for an electrical issue caused by lightning storm…returned today to replace smoke detector which required a professional! Gratefully, the same representative serviced both times! John was prompt, professional, honest, and quick! In & out within 30 minutes

Joshua and Carnell did an outstanding job at our house! We called for service on a Sunday night and although they weren’t able to get to our house that night, they did show up early the next morning. They were both very courteous and knowledgeable about their profession. I would recommend them to ANYONE that has electrical issues. They diagnosed the problem in a few hours (this involved CenterPoint coming out as well) and had our electrical panel & main line from transformer to house all replaced in one day. Omg what a awesome job. I have had several companies come out and give me estimates each saying there was corrosion and rust in my panel. Well John came in a told me not only was that incorrect but he told me exactly what I needed to get the job done. Changing receptacles and a couple breakers. Now that is great service. Something blew Sunday in the panel. Unfortunately it was the surge protector which had to be replaced. I trust them. Always honest and do good work.

Had an issue with our breaker which turned out to be more than the breaker. Called Mr. Sparky and they came out the same evening. Their technician Joshua was professional and courteous and did a thorough job of explaining what could be causing the issue. After doing some diagnostic work he located the cause of the issue. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

Technicians from Mr Sparky are always professional, knowledgeable, on-time, and friendly! They were able to get to us quickly, and it seems that no job is too big or too small. We used them two years ago for major electrical work throughout the house, and again today for a minor issue that turned out to be caused by a bad appliance. Joshua thoroughly checked and diagnosed the problem, then actually discovered and fixed a couple unrelated electrical panel issues that had been caused by our generator installation last year. We are grateful for his expertise and professionalism, and can rest easier knowing our electrical panel is done right. Great company!

Mister Sparky's electrician, John, did an excellent job finding an electrical circuit issue in my wiring. I could have never found it and really did not know where to look. I am extremely pleased with the price, performance and overall service.

While the service tech was very knowledgeable and friendly, the prices are outrageous. I had a 120 outlet put in for my new gas stove and replaced the outside switch for my compressor. This work took 45 minutes and they charged me $850. Even after considering they doubled the cost of the switch and GFCI outlet, I figure their labor rate to be about $300/hr. That is three times the going rate.

This was our second time using Mr. Sparky and just like the first time we were pleased with the ease of setting up the appointment, having our technician Josh arrived on time and most importantly completed the repair and explained what he did and why. He also had some recommendations for additional items that need addressed. The work guarantee is also great to have. Definitely will use again!

I needed a breaker replaced. I'm a landlord. I explained that during the scheduling call. Very specific instruction that I was the customer and not the people living in the house. Tech arrives and completely ignores that. Attempts to charge me ~$1200 for a simple job. I just needed one breaker. The Tech whittles down the estimate and tells me it's going to be $500+ to purchase and install an AFCI breaker...JUST ONE... Fast forward to 9PM. I get a call from his manager, AKA Mister Snarky and he proceeds to tell me they installed a Top of The Line breaker (Tech told me it was a Square Doo Doo breaker so, nice try, they're $40-$70 dollars. I think it's safe to assume Mister Sparky is buying them in bulk and gets a much better price on them.) And then the manager went on and on and on mansplaining supply chain, price increases, etc. Instead of smoothing the situation over, he managed to make it worse. Never offered to remove the service fee. I understand a profit needs to be made. I'm fine with a reasonable profit. I respect craftsmen. IMO, Mister Sparky is price gouging people.

Electrical problems on Saturday morning are never good......the entire breaker panel was out. Wasted 24 hrs trying to get Amer Home Shield to dispatch anyone for emergency repair. They authorized outside contractor Sunday afternoon.....our 1st call was to Mr. Sparky! Judith took our call...friendly, helpful & efficient! Within 2 hrs I received text that our technician, Baron was enroute. Judith also called to confirm. He was on time, very knowledgeable, polite & hardworking....we were in good hands. He worked til after dark installing new panel, then testing & marking all outlets, switches & breakers. He found we have some interior wiring problems, so that's next on list. Mr. Sparky is probably not the lowest price company, but why would I want a bargain electrical panel?! So happy with product, installation & customer service.....

Very poor communication on diagnostic fee which is going to be the first step of almost any service. Great response time and reasonable fee to come out ($70), and then literally check the breaker box to assess power to each breaker (2 min with voltmeter) and immediately move to an $420 charge to do diagnostic and limited repairs.(doesn't cover single circuit rewiring) I literally just got off the phone with abacus and their diagnostic is $150 and waived if you choose them for repairs which they will full quote you before working.. very short sighted customer service experience from Mr sparky. Yes I did pay the $70 trip fee. If they cared at all about the customer experience seems they would have been willing to wave that. They simply didn't care or listen to the concern.. really needed that $70.

Thomas done and excellent job on the install. Very professional work. Could have had it done for probably half the price but when your in a bind they will always stick you on price. Would have given 5 stars if price was a little more reasonable but when you have electrian friends that tell you what the job typically would cost and you pay almost double. We just moved into a rural home with a dedicated utility pole for the main breaker box. We were having ground prepared for generator and propane tank placement when we discovered the utility pole was rotting and crumbling about 4-6 inches under the ground. I am extremely pleased with the quality of the service I received from the entire crew who worked for 5 straight days to repair damages to my entire electrical and air conditioning system due to a lightning strike to my home. The appointment set up was easy and because they had a cancellation they were able to come out and fix my electrical problem earlier than expected. Thomas T., the technician, explained everything that was doing to diagnose and repair the problem as he was doing it in real time, in a way that was logical and easy to understand. I reached out Mr. Sparky to help install two GFCI outlets in a kitchen that previously were wired poorly and against code. Mr. Sparky was easy to reach, communication was great, and the price was fair with how quickly I needed the work done. Joshua was on time, knowledgable and explained everything in detail. I can't speak on cost because we were covered under our Direct Energy protection plan. I called & requested service for an issue with the switch in our son's room. It took an extra day for a response but that was due to fault of Direct Energy. This was also during June of the Covid 19 pandemic. They called to schedule a service & explained the process.The day of our service i received a call about 10 minutes into my service window & was told the technician would be arriving in 30 minutes.That was followed by a text introducing the tech & providing a tracker so I could follow up to his arrival.He arrived wearing a mask & applied his shoe coverings upon arrival. He asked the issue & I showed him the way.After a brief explanation he entered his work order & explained that indeed everything would be covered by by our service plan. It was just the switch, but i didn't feel comfortable trying to replace that.He asked me to sign off on the charges ($0) for the service he would be completing.The service was quick & simple but I appreciate the steps they did to keep me informed.Will use Mr Sparky again for additional electrical needs. Great job by done by all!

Joshua is a true professional. When he arrived, he put my concerns about Covid at ease with his mask wearing and he expressed concern about my family’s health safety. He was so neat and clean and showed tremendous respect for my home by wearing his foot boots. He was warm and friendly with my Alzheimer’s mother who is normally upset around strangers. He showed interest in my family’s story and took time to look at my family’s portrait.

We had a breaker box fire on Sunday evening.We were very fortunate to call Mr Sparky. They sent Thomas out to our home within roughly an hour. He was very polite and professional. He worked well past 2am to replace our panel and restore our power. His install was very clean and he cleaned up the area very well even though it was so late. I can't reccomend them enough 5 stars all the way!!!

The electrician, John N, assigned to work my request is an excellent professional. He commands an impressive knowledge of electrical & building codes. He is personable, explained my service options and worked efficiently. I am grateful for his keen observations including the identification of melted insulation on feeds from my power provider. My power provider immediately dispatched a team to fix the short/fire hazard. I assume John’s work is representative of Mister Sparky’s commitment to safety and quality, so I will trust them to service future electrical work.

Follow up to my original review, there was an issue I forgot to mention on the original call and they dispatched Neil the next day. Once again I I was greeted with a the kind of professionalism and manners you just don’t see that much in service industry (side note I deal with contractors as part of my profession). Great job to everyone involved in my calls and service as well as to Mr. Sparky group.Original post:Carnell was awesome, he arrived first thing in the morning and asked what was my concerns for having a new panel installed and immediately went to work, first doing a quick overview, gathering the tools required, and even notified CenterPoint to come out so he replace the main feeds from the meter. He was very safety conscience, professional, courteous, and efficient. After everything was connected, he checked every breaker and labeled accordingly. After that we went to the panel and went over all the breakers. My new panel looks amazing.

Although I didn’t ask for it, the Mister Sparky customer service realized the urgency of our situation and prioritized is for first thing in the morning. The technician arrived early within the appointment window and gave multiple options on breaker service, all of which were well explained and reasonable. My house is back running strong in the dog days of summer, very satisfied.

We were having power surges and Thomas checked the whole house, installed a surge protector and replaced all of our smoke alarms since the surge had fried them.I really appreciate that this company is very tech savvy. I received emails and texts about the status of my service appointments and that all the work was documented with an electronic contract.Thomas was also very helpful in explaining everything and giving me choices about which way he could do the work and what the ramifications would be if each.

This is the second time we have used Mister Sparky and electrician Dan. He is amazing to work with and went above and beyond both times he repaired things here. Always professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He and the Mister Sparky team were very courteous and patient with my mother in figuring out what she needed done. At no point did it feel like they were being pushy. Highly recommend using this company. They do cost a little more but they do stellar work and back it up with guarantees. Our technician, Michael, came out to replace a faulty breaker on our breaker panel. His experience showed as he knew what to do immediately and was able to complete the job quickly. Michael explained what could cause the issue, was open with the work he was doing, and made sure we understood what we were paying for. Would recommend to friends and neighbors.

When two of our plugs went out. We did not know the extent of the problem we had. Apparently when our house was built, then plugs were not installed correctly. Also found that we were suppose to have fire alarms installed in all rooms. The electricians installed all of this for us and got our house up to modern safety standards. Also after finished the upgrade, found that a fault plug in the kitchen was set at too low of an amperage, so the electrician increased the amperage with another plug. We were very impressed with Mister Sparky service. Thank you guys.UPDATE: Our refrigerator kept tripping the GFCI Switch that was in the same circuit. I had a great experience with Mike Ruiz. He is a Journeyman Electrician with Mr. Sparky. He did fabulous work for me at my home. I’m very pleased with how well everything works and the quality of the work. There nothing like having piece of mind when it comes to your electrician and I had that from the beginning with Mr. Sparky. They rescued my house from a less qualified contractor that did poor work on my house. The Electrician Mike Ruiz was very prompt, stayed late when needed and always made sure that I was satisfied with his work. I would recommend Mr. Sparky to anyone needing Electrician Services and I would use them again in the future.

The person assigned to evaluate a relatively small project, was very professional, super detailed and with a very goo attitude. Arrived in time and was very efficient to evaluate the project and to generate an estimate. The only issue is that the estimate ended up being too high, beyond my expectations. In conclusion, it seems they would provide an excellent service, but the price is such that most likely I will not hire them.

These guys are excellent. Have rerun most of the power around and in my old 1973 house.Bit pricey but worth it for the warranties, permits, speed, and quality of work. Latest project was adding tesla wall connector 'charger', they scoped and installed everything including a temp socket for us to use till the wall connector arrives.

Thomas Taylor called me 45minutes before arrival and showed up on time. He was thorough with his diagnosis on why I’m losing power in my home. He even turned on the lawn mower and was able to troubleshoot the issue immediately. Great prices and payment plans were reviewed as well. Review:I had 12 outlets and two gfci's that were bad and needed breaker box work, called Mister Sparky and they sent out a technician within hours. John Noel was very attentive and explains everything that he is doing and was very professional, he wore a facemask the entire time he was working due to Covid-19 and was extremely clean. John gave me price options on his notebook to let me decide on optional items and upgrades, the pricing was very fair and I will definitely be using this company again. My family and I woke up this morning to a house with only partial power working. After getting our power company to come check it out, we were informed that we needed to get an electrician out as there was no problem with our power and rather a problem with the breaker box. While I appreciated that we were promised a technician out on the same day due to our AC being out and it being the middle of summer in Texas, that is where our satisfaction ended.After further investigating the breakers and looking into what was happening inside our house, we quickly found it to be the main breaker that was the problem. When our technician showed up, he too, right away agreed that it was the main breaker that needed to be replaced. We were quoted close to $1300 to change out the main breaker and seal the box up since it was located outside and had some weathering to it. He said only changing the breaker would run about $950.We actually have a home warranty for our home, but were desperate to get someone out and get the electrical fixed so we could get our AC back on and cooling since we had children in the home. Right away we thought this to be too much, as you can buy the breaker new for $145. We paid the $59 service call fee and sent the technician on his way.Once he left we called a second local electrician and he was to our home in less than an hour. 20 minutes and $350 later, we had a fixed main breaker and power (AND AC) again! The prices of Mister Sparky were not only not competitive, they were downright robbery. Doing business like this will not result in return customers. You can have same day service, and a friendly voice on the phone all day long, but the prices were outrageous and not justified.We were quoted $4000 to completely replace the whole breaker box, and $2200 by our second opinion. I feel for the individuals that are desperate or don't have the resources or time to look into other companies or gather a second opinion. That's a high price to pay if you have no idea on how electrical works and are putting your trust in your technician. It's just wrong.

Neil came out and did some additional lighting and plug work in our barn. He did a great job, on time, cleaned up, friendly and professional. I liked his service and knowledge. Depending on price for Mister Sparky set services(seems on the high end with comparable), I would use them again just because of Neil and his service.

Do NOT use this service. $359 “diagnostic” fee, can be 15 minutes or 4 hours...they charge this amount. Fancy “menu” of services provided, illustrating what they can do for an additional fee. They wanted to charge me nearly $900 to complete the job...I completed myself for an additional $52 and 45 minutes of my time. My technician was professional and punctual. Diagnosed a faulty arc/protection and 2 additional faulty breakers, plus a short in my garage door opener system. The price to replace 3 circuit breakers?? $127 per breaker! $5.00 part an 5 minute install, each. The Arc-fault breaker would be $299!! For a $40 part and 10 minutes to install! I spoke with a supervisor to voice concern regarding their unbelievable prices...was willing to pay a reasonable price for a good service, he was unwilling to make any concession whatsoever. I willNEVER recommend this electrical service to anyone, anytime, anywhere! Would have rated. a “0” but it wasn’t an option.

Same day service. They called about 30 minutes before Michael arrived which was earlier than scheduled. He analyzed the problem quickly and gave us a reasonable quote. He completed the work quickly to my satisfaction. I will call Mr. Sparky for my future electrical needs.

I didn’t end up using them, as it just wasn’t a good match for this transaction. My experience wasn’t all pleasant at the time of service, but they DO go the extra mile for customer service.Like I said, I had a relatively unpleasant experience at first, but within a couple of hours, the owner called me and straightened everything out and best of all, made no excuses. Simply apologized for my experience and made me feel heard. Things happen all the time, but it’s rare to have that level of personal attention. Now I understand their great google rating.

Bishop came to house today to resolve some power issues. He completed the diagnostics and said I should get Energy provider out to check the lines. He helped me get the tech lined up and he arrived an hour later. The tech confirmed Bishops suspicions about the root cause. Power supply all 100% now. I had some breakers keep tripping my electrician came fixed it and explained what was going on. I thought the breaker replacement was pricey but have no idea what the going rate is on that. Other than that everything was great. He did a great job and found some bugs in my system that need fixing.

Baron' did an outstanding job of locating and obtaining the replacement transformer needed for the puck light string. Original was 15+ years old and current replacement sources are quite limited.

The technician was great and worked quickly. Pricing seems extremely high and they do not give you a quote over the phone. That is frustrating as I had no idea of cost till they arrive. You owe a $50 trip charge if you do not end up doing the service. I don’t appreciate the pressure sell, the opportunity to shop pricing would be appreciated.

I had one wall in an upstairs bedroom (two switches and one outlet) that weren't receiving power. Circuit breaker was all good and it was obviously isolated to that one wall. The technician spent about 10-15 minutes diagnosing before saying I needed a circuit breaker test (tracing the problem) which would cost $450. After he found the problem, fixing it would start at $699 according to a predetermined pricing chart he handed me.I felt uncomfortable and what seemed like a friendly chat turned into him handing me his iPad to sign an agreement for what seemed like an excessive amount before any work whatsoever was done. Thehigh pressure sales tactic was off-putting and I refused to sign, called another company, and turns out it was a simple loose wire in the switch. After this experience, there is no way I'd ever recommend Mr Sparky for anyone's electrical problems.

I called Mr. Sparky to install a 110VAC drop under my stove top. I spoke to Jackie over the telephone to arrange the visit. Jackie was courteous and professional. Bill the electrician arrived promptly at 12 noon, the earliest in the window of 12 to 4. He installed the new 110VAC plugs in what seemed like record time. Bill was also a very courteous and professional.I do not hesitate in my very good recommendation of Mr. Sparky in general and Jackie and Bill specifically.

Part of the problem with finding a good electrician is poor communication, not so with Mr Sparky. I was able to get a quick appointment, email confirmation, phone call, and follow up call. The electrician showed up on time, was very professional, and really took his time to look over the entire picture before making his final recommendation. These are all things that really show the professionalism of the company and will lead me to call them again in the future. My particular issue was with a GFCI for my pool light, which they were able to replace in the same visit.

My home required a complete replacement of the electrical panel and a circuit restoration due to a lighting strike on my home. I was homeless as a result of the damage. Clint B from Mr Sparkey did a great job of troubleshooting the damage and making the necessary repairs. Throughout the whole process he was very professional taking time to explain each step of the process. Once my insurance approved the repairs, Clint and his company expedited the scheduling of the work to get me back into my home in less than 2 weeks. I highly recommend Mr Sparkey and Clint B!

Stephen suggested several ways to address my need for installing power to my backyard shop. He then returned and did a great job setting it up on a very hot day. I highly recommend him.

I typically do not write reviews, but in this case Justin and Mr. Sparky deserve my response. I was dreading needing an electrician and was prepared for quite the ordeal. Instead I was pleasantly surprised and relieved. Justin arrived on time, was professional, friendly, and efficient. He did a few basic investigations first and quickly found the problem instead of jumping into an unnecessary and expensive project. He then explained what was happening and why as well as showed us the issue. Moreover, he suggested multiple options to fix our issue, some of which wouldn't require their services. I appreciated Justin's and Mr. Sparky's honesty and straight forwardness. I would definitely call them again and will absolutely recommend their services to our friends and family.

My tech was prompt. He listened and answered all my questions. Took care of the items that was on my initial call and pointed out some critical things what needed to be addressed and recommend deferring things that were not safety items. He was transparent in his communication to me.

We purchased our home mid-June with original 1979 electrical panel. Our Homeowner's Insurance carrier recently sent us a letter requiring that we replace this panel by Aug 31, otherwise our coverage would be terminated :( I set up an appointment with Mister Sparky for Saturday. Thomas came out did, I believe, a 31 point inspection, gave me options as to the work we needed completed and anything additional we'd like to add. He was very informative, straight-forward about pricing and wasn't pushy. After going over financing options and approval, he came back early Monday morning and did an awesome job in a timely manner. I am very pleased with the work he did. My panel looks beautiful. They were quick to arrive for my issue. The technician, John N, was very knowledgeable found the problem and repaired it within 20 minutes.

I can't say enough good things about Mr. Sparky's service. We have had them come out 3 times this month for different electrical issues. Each time, their office called about 45 minutes before my window of service was to take place letting me know the technician was enroute. All three times, they arrived on time, performed a walk through checking out the entire house for any issues we may not have not known about. The technicians explained what they found and let us decide on the scope of work we were comfortable with doing. The technicians were very friendly and really took the time to explain what they were doing so I could learn while they worked. A++ experience every time.

**DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY**After reading through the 2020 NFPA NEC Code Book, I found that there were, at minimum, 15 different code violations on this installation. I hired this company to receive a trustworthy electrician, and received a ridiculously absurd bill (Over $5300 for a new outlet and a pool GFCI to be added) and this install was riddled with code violations. To add, there are copper clippings, wire clippings, wire nuts, and other parts that are choking and safety hazards for children and my puppy. Please see the attached invoice and cost comparison. Mister Sparky has refused to resolve this in any way and has acknowledged that they should have informed the technician that if a customer has their own material, and it is up to code, they can use the customer's material in lieu of the businesses. I have never had a company so effortlessly and egregiously screw somebody over. I had the displeasure of having service done by Mister Sparky in Houston. I received some quotes while I was in a work meeting and understood the pricing was around $1800 for the work to be performed, but upon receipt of my invoice that amount was $5365.20. I was immediately appalled, because I only had one outlet run to my garage and a GFCI circuit breaker installed. I thought there had to be a mistake. And there was! I had material provided that was not used and I was charged an ABSURD amount for the use of their own material. In addition, I was double charged for two outlets when I only had one installed. I was charged $594 x2 FOR ADDING AN OUTLET COVER. $1999 for Cable that I HAD AVAILABLE. After speaking with one of the managers, I was told I could receive a refund of $365 to cover the parts I already purchased. But, in doing so, I would have to be fine with paying over $4500 in parts they provided + labor. Absolutely not acceptable under any circumstances. To add insult to injury, the installation was not even done how I wanted. I did not want conduit to be run at all, I wanted it to be installed in the box into the house and not be an eye sore. I would never recommend this company to friends or family, but I would recommend them to someone I disliked, so they could get screwed over, too.

From calling to schedule through the repair the whole team was courteous, knowledgeable and expedient in arriving to asses and complete the work needed. The electrician went above and beyond in evaluating not only for the issue I called him out on but also on things he noticed that I should know. SUPER JOB!

Mr. Ruiz was very professional and explained what needed to be done. It was done well and then he checked work by previous electrician from another company. He described why I should call them for correction on previous work for safety.

We needed help with a blown circuit that would not reset. Turns out there was a bigger issue. The electrician got the circuit fixed and explained what all needed to be done to correct it permanently. We were very pleased with the service and time to explain everything. We will be calling them again!

Bill came to our house to work on a troubling light fixture. He was very professional and kept all of his work area very clean. He explained not only the work he was doing as he did it, but made sure the pricing was as transparent as well.

John knew what IT would take to fix the electrical problem we had AS a result Of a lighting strike that damaged my electrical system. He diagnosed the problem with the curcuits and then replaced all the damaged electrical boxes and circuit breakers. Blew main breaker at 8:30pm on a Sunday night. Called Centerpoint, but no power outages in area. Googled electricity out near me, saw Mister Sparky 24/7 with 4.9 rating, and dialed it. Had someone here helping me by 10pm. Got me thru the very hot night with minimal use of electricity, then replaced entire panel the next morning. Up and running by 2:30pm the next day. Both electricians very professional and thorough. Main office communicates regularly so you know who is coming and when. Centerpoint also came by and verified breaker panel issue, not power issue. It wasn't cheap, but it was 12 months 0% interest for 12 months, fast, and professional!

Never ever again. Needed a new breaker. They said it would be a $39 charge to come out, fine come on they didn't tell me that there would be a 325.00 diagnostic fee, long story short it cost me 759.00 to replace a 30.00 breaker. That was sometime ago as I have been to mad to be civil but now I can I will never do business with these rip off artist again.

Unfortunately Joshua couldn’t help me because I had an electric dryer but a gas hookup. He was however very helpful in helping me get in touch with a company that services gas calls and also helped with a ceiling fan and light. I will call him for future electrical needs, he was a pleasure to work with!

The electrician, Dennis P., arrived promptly and after a brief question & answer regarding the problem focused in on what the probable issue was. He explained what he would have to do to determine the cause of our electrical issue and got right to work. First beginning with the electrical panel and then outside to test where the electrical wires join the house from Center Point. Dennis did not take more than 30 mins from start to finish to determine that the issue was not on our end, it was Center Point issue at the pole/transformer. Dennis spoke to Center Point and explained the issue and what type of service would be required from Center Point to rectify the issue. This is the second time that we have used Mr. Sparky and would use them again.

Was very impressed when a friend had an A/C problem that turned out to be electrical. He had called an A/C company and when they opened the outside A/C breaker box by the unit, instead of having breakers in it, the breakers had been taken and replaced by two pieces of copper pipe.He knew he had a big problem when the A/C man said he was not licensed to touch it and that it could burn up his home. There were already burned wires inside and that was why it was not working. We suggested he call Mr Sparky and the lady said she would have someone come out right away since it was an emergency issue. They showed up within an hour or two and fixed his problem, took pictures, etc. You could tell they cared.

I have used Mr. Sparky on two different occasions. The latest occurance was several weeks ago when I discovered that I had no heat and a cold front was on its way. Bill S. came out and looked over the heating system and stated that I needed to have the system rewired with new more heavy duty breakers and wire as the a/c man had suggested. The following day he came to do the job and on that day the weather was cold with a bad rain storm. The weather did not deter Bill and he did the rewiring both inside & outside the house in the cold wet rainy conditions. That is dedication to your job. I appreciate his dedication and helpfulness in getting my heat up and running. When I need Mr. Sparky again I will definitely ask for Bill S. Bill has a happy personality, he explained to me what was needed in terms that I understood and stayed to the end with nice warm heat coming out of the system because it had the necessary wiring/breakers to take care of the job.
