Jose came on time. He was extremely professional and understanding. I had recently purchase a washer and dryer. But the dryer was not working. The people who dropped off the set recommend me contact an electrician to come out. Jose explained to me what the issue was and gave me a handful of options on how to proceed. He was not pushy about the most expensive option. But I just wanted to get the dryer up and running. And that is exactly what he did. He ended up replacing the 4 prong outlet to a 3 prong outlet. And the dryer now works. Jose is friendly and has great house manners. Would recommend anyone to Paul Richard Electric. Thank you Jose for your amazing expertise.

Efren was very professional and took time to educate along the way. His troubleshooting skills were very thorough and accommodated my questions. Following a partial home power failure including our AC and stove on a Sunday, Paul Richard Electric responded to my request for an emergency appointment (note: other businesses had a vm on a Sunday). Paul came as scheduled and diagnosed the situation, called CenterPoint Energy for us, laid out the potential scenarios and options. Paul's commitment to helping us, providing detail cost alternatives and understanding of the entire electrical design (from transformer to unit) was spot-on.

They were very punctual and professional. When all of his service techs were out on service calls, Paul came out for our service call himself. Our kitchen electrical outlets were on the Fritz. They worked to find our problem and made all necessary repairs. They also replaced all of our hard wired smoke detectors. Paul & Juan were very kind and courteous. I was totally unprepared and clueless about what to do when our house suddenly lost power on Sunday. I called several electricians that open 24 hours and left messages or spoke to customer services who promised an electrician will call me. Paul was the only one called back and so patiently guided me to self-diagnose the problem. I am so grateful because he is not only so kind but so understanding. We cannot recommend Paul Richard Electric enough!We needed to replace our FPE breaker box so I did a quick Google search and Paul Richard Electric was close and highly rated. I gave them a call and spoke with Brandi and she got us all set up, it was quick and painless! Josh and Kobe came out early in the morning, they were very professional and did a great job replacing the box. We have a few other electrical projects needing to be done and we know who we will be calling!Highly recommend!

I needed help with a breaker that kept tripping. Because it was an Eaton breaker and I was able to read a code that indicated the breaker's self-test was failing, I thought it would be a simple breaker changeout, but wanted someone to come make sure there wasn't a bigger problem also.I looked up electricians in my area on Yelp and sorted by rating; Paul Richard Electric came up as the top result. I read the reviews and decided to go with Paul Richard after noting the high level of service provided and the quick response time, even though it appeared from the other reviewers the minimum charge was $285.After submitting a request for quote which took just a few minutes, even with the submission of pictures of my breaker box, Paul himself got back with me within 10 minutes (guaranteed response time of 20 minutes) with an estimate of $285 and request to call for more information. Long story short, Paul was able to come by within the next hour because he was in the area and get the problem fixed. He and Jon (the other tech who was with him) were also able to test the new breaker after they installed it, with all my appliances in the kitchen turned on, to determine the load on the circuit was OK. He also examined the breaker box install from the builder and recommended a couple of changes they should make under the original home warranty to bring the box to code, and documented them on the receipt the same evening per my request. Even though we tested it thoroughly, Paul offered to have a tech come out next day if there were any further problems overnight, despite it being an extremely busy schedule for them on Thanksgiving week.The $285 included the trip charge plus a two-hour minimum of work. I also paid for the cost of the breaker they replaced (they showed me the receipt). All in all, I feel like I got my money's worth and got the problem resolved safely and effectively. By far my best experience with an electric service in the area! They were easy to schedule a same day appointment then upon arrival quick to diagnose the problem. Had the pleasure of meeting several employees and Paul too, all of whom were very professional and courteous. Will definitely refer them to my friends and family and saved their number immediately. Larry performed a repair on the can lights in my kitchen. I'm glad he did because apparently the wires were loose and burning! He and Damien were very courteous and communicative. I appreciated little touches like asking if he could sweep up the little bit of drywall dust off my floor. Yes the fixed price of two hours plus trip charge may seem steep, but worth it for peace of mind/not having my house burn down and for supporting local businesses.

In the 30 years I have lived in this house, I have witnessed the work of many electricians. Most were bad and some were just OK. But Paul Richard Electric in my opinion set the gold standard for professionalism and competence in caring for my property. Electrical problems were diagnosed efficiently and accurately the first time. The prices were very fair, and the service was very courteous and timely. I spoke with Paul a number of times on the phone and he was unfailingly polite and attentive to my needs. He sent Damian, a totally professional and incredibly responsible and efficient young man to do the many electrical tasks that needed a professional's attention. I have never met Paul Richard in person, and I am in no way related or affiliated to anyone in his employ. I simply did my homework online and called for service. This, in my opinion, is a company that deserves many more opportunities to grow and serve our community.

These folks are amazing. Everything was explained up front, our technician (Larry) was super on time, knowledgeable, and professional. He took the time to explain what the issue was, what he did to correct it, and then showed me that all was working as should be. I will use this company going forward for all my electrical needs.

Paul came out on the same day that I called him and was very helpful in showing me some of the things that were of concern on a house that I just bough. He said somethings weren’t up to code but it would OK until the electric needed to be redone then it should be done at code. He gave me an estimate on a new panel and was very helpful with a lot of questions that I had about electric problems. I would recommend him. Price seems reasonable and he has a two hour minimum.

Paul and his team did a great job for us with some electrical installations and troubleshooting. The scope of work was well explained including cost estimates and timing of the work. Paul was very flexible fitting in the work with our schedule; he and his team were very courteous and did a thorough job leaving our house free of dust and debris following the installations. I highly recommend Paul Richard Electric, they were referred to me by a friend who previously used them with great results. My mother had an electrical issue that could not be solved by other (so called) electricians at her home. I called and spoke with Paul on a Saturday morning ( which shocked me being a weekend and all), he was very thorough and professional over the phone, he had a technician by the name of Joshua dispatched over to her home immediately and within a very short time, PROBLEM SOLVED!! I was able to get them and their crew to come do a bunch of different jobs at my property within a reasonable amount of time from my call. They do the job right and to code, which is what you want. I called Paul Richard Electric on Sunday after having an increasing problem with intermittently dimming lights throughout the house. It had gotten so bad that It knocked out two surge protectors overnight while we were sleeping.We had already had Centerpoint out to check their equipment that morning. They had cleared some brush from around the poles and said there was no other problem on their end. When I called Paul, he said he could have someone out that day to check out the problem.Larry and Ruben arrived about two hours later. They did a thorough inspection and found nothing unusual enough from the voltage readings to cause our problems. While they were there, the power went out. They went out to check on it and found that there were Centerpoint trucks a couple of houses down working on the transformer! We had Larry and Ruben perform some routine Electrical panel maintenance and work up an estimate for some additional issues that needed addressing.I have nothing but good things to say about Larry and Ruben. They were on time, knowledgeable, and efficient, and they patiently explained everything they were doing. Even though it turned out that our problem was really a Centerpoint issue, I am very grateful to Paul for sending out his team on a Sunday to check it out. I will definitely be calling them again soon to take care of some safety issues they pointed out and plan to use them for all my future electrical needs.

We purchased LED lights through Paul Richard for our kitchen under counter lighting to replace older fluorescent fixtures that kept breaking at a pretty reasonable price. Johnathon was on time and very proficient in removing and installing the new lights. They look and work great. We are scheduling more work to update other outdated light fixtures for newer high efficiency ones.

I give this electrician company five stars because Ryan the technician and the owner provided excellent customer service! I called today and Paul, the owner, was able to get Ryan to come out and repair a breaker that was causing my garage door, and five GFCI outlets to stop working. The price was reasonable and I'm not complaining after having to open my garage door manually for two weeks. This will be my electrical company for any future electrical problems that I may have. If you need someone dependable and knowledgeable with reasonable pricing, just call Paul Richard Electric.

I made the mistake of hiring a handyman to install my ceiling fans, nice ones. He broke one and installed it anyway and the story goes on... I called Paul Richard Electric and they were out here the next day. Installed the fans and made new fan boxes for all, because the screw threads on the plastic ones that were there were all but stripped so basically the fans could have fallen from the ceiling at any time. I appreciate the fact that they bothered with the safety factor and didn't treat it like just another job.

I had the best experience with tech Joshua F. Totally respectful, wise, and determined to find the problem of my electrical outage only on one side of the home!! He said he learned so much from his boss!!!! Just amazing young man!You won’t go wrong with calling on them!They were reasonable and honest and determined to make sure all was taken care of!!!A total blessing!!!

Technician was awesome but I was charged way too much for a simple fix for the breaker and GFC outlet. Took the tech 10 minutes max and all he did was turn off/on the breaker and hit the GFC button to restore the power to a few outlets. Owner quoted me on the phone for a 2 hour job and when I called to explain it took 10 minutes and to be reasonable, he refused. Should’ve quoted at 1 hour and not 2 and not assume. In the end his staff has awesome customer service and agreed with me and reduced the charges; owner definitely needs to take some lessons on business etiquette. OMG, the storm last night uprooted a tree which knocked down our power line to my mothers house in Houston Texas and my brother found Paul Richard Electric online. We are so thankful for Pauls quick response and professionalism among his recommendations in order to be with the cities compliance. Paul even found a tree service company to clear the branches for the City workers to reconnect our power line to the home. Seriously, if you are in need of an electrician Paul Richard Electric is who I would recommend. In addition, Pauls employee Joshua Fuentes was so helpful and professional and answered all of my questions and did an excellent job in the installation of a box/cable line that was needed in order for the city to reconnect power. 5 stars rating for sure.
