Brandon was awesome! He arrived on time, and was polite & courteous throughout. He evaluated my situation, advising me of my options and a competitive quote. We agreed and he got right to work. He was faster then he advised he'd be and once finished, he showed me what he did, explaining how and why, and showed that it worked, etc. Quick and easy. Mr. Electrical send Mr Robert and his team (also named Robert) and they did a great job, took the time to explain to me the issues, showed me the items that needed repair after the inspection, documented with photos and provided all the options and even advice in additional electrical repairs I was planning (outlet replacement).

William was excellent, not only did he quickly fix my initial problem but also found two others that could have caused me major issues with my grounding system. After repairing those, he made me aware that my smoke detectors were 3 years expired and needed to be replaced. I decided to replace those myself and he told me exactly what to buy which really helped. He gave me written estimates on everything he was going to work on and even saved me $100 on the grounding by finding a more efficient solution. I really appreciate him doing that for me! I highly recommend this company.

I called the company and they came out the next morning which was important for me since i was in the middle of remodeling my kitchen. The company introduced the electrician with a text with his picture. Electrician, William, has a associate degree as an electrician and did a fine job installing a recepital for my dishwasher and reconfigureing wiring and outlets with an older house that has screwed up wiring.

The repairman did a great job diagnosing our problem and implementing the repairs. Everything is working fine now and I appreciated the time he spent explaining what he did to fix our electrical failure.

I worked with Doug for the extensive electrical overhaul of my home. Prices were very reasonable and way below the other quotes I received. Doug was very attentive to detail, spending time writing up every item in the quote/invoice. He found other issues in my home and took time to explain and show me what they were. He let me know pros and cons of each repair, since some were not necessary, but preferred for aesthetics. In summary, Doug was earnest, honest, and now knows my home’s electrical system inside and out. Funny enough, even with all of the cosmetic but nonurgent work, the total cost was STILL lower than another company’s quote for just the essentials. Thank you Mr. Electric!

Mr. Electric tracking is useless. It doesn't tell you arrival time. I still give them 5 stars because Robert is so good. Robert Untermeyer did a great job identifying electrical problems & fixing them. He selected the best bathroom heater/fan for my needs, which was extremely helpful. Will use Robert in future for all electrical needs.

Called them to do some diagnosis and electric repair in a rental property we own downtown Houston. The staff was so friendly and professional and they were able to go out same day. The tech kept me up to speed on everything he was doing and everything he found that needed repairing. He even waited patiently for me to get approval to go ahead with the repairs. We will be using them for all of our needs for that rental from now on!!

This review covers both the company (Mr. Electric) and the service technician (Brandon Turner).I am thoroughly pleased with both the company and Brandon Turner's service of my electrical problem at my residence.There is but one word that fully describes Brandon Turner's level of service that was provided at my residence. That word is Excellent. From the moment Brandon knocked on my door, to the moment he completed the service, he displayed a full array of know-how, understanding, and focus. The service call at my residence involved multiple problems. I explained the problems to Brandon and he went to work solving them. I was especially impressed by his methodological way of diagnosing and approaching the problems with an eye toward solving them. He was thorough in investigating the symptoms and he took his time to make sure that nothing was misdiagnosed. He then arranged his work to attack each other problems in an order that clearly demonstrated that he knew what he was doing. One of the electrical problems that I was facing required Brandon to make a second trip to the supply store. He may the second trip without complaining and without delay.Upon completion of his work, Brandon cleaned up and hand vacuumed the area where he was working. He did such a complete job cleaning up that by the end of the project, I was not able to tell where he was working.Before leaving my residence, Brandon explained to me in detail all aspects of the work and how I can expect things to be going forward.I highly recommend the company, Mr. Electric and the service technician, Brandon Turner.The excellent service began with the way the company contacted me to confirm the scheduling of the service visit. Brandon was fantastic installing two ceiling fans. He patiently worked with my very old house and did a beautiful installation job. He carefully worked through the DIP switch settings to avoid conflicts between the multiple fans and made sure everything worked perfectly. So nice, professional and efficient. Highly recommend!

This was a great choice; two tech’s showed up which was good as I had 5 ceiling fans to install-including 1 external up high location. Very friendly and professional; while going inside / outside they would wear covers over their shoes being careful not to soil the home floors. Price was good and well worth as they saved me time & stress. No regrets!

William Diffenderfer came out to add an outlet for my kitchen. When looking at my panel he discovered safety items that needed to be upgraded and explained safety issues and costs to upgrade. I decided to address and fix those items in panel and change rusted breakers and repair other items. I was very pleased with Williams work and professionalism.

I needed an electrician ASAP and Mr. Electric was able to send someone out within 2 days. Robert Untermeyer was not only professional, but also personable and hilarious. He was extremely helpful and was able to get everything done in a timely manner. I would 100% use Robert again if we ever need any more work done. Had breaker go out on Thanksgiving day and emailed Mr. Electric that day to see if electrician could come out. They responded by coming the next day. Michael was very professional and rigged a repair that would allow me to use my microwave, but told me what others had mentioned before that my 40-year old electrical panel needed to be replaced. Scheduled the replacement for two weeks later with Michael and he came and replaced it. Although it took about six hours, he was diligent and focused doing the job. I appreciated his friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to answer my questions. Highly recommend Mr. Electric Houston Midtown!

Mr. Gilbert Galinato did an excellent job. He arrived on time and worked diligently until completion of the job. He was courteous and he communicated as necessary. The job was completed on time.The quote I got from Mr. Electric was the most reasonable for the work. I was quoted a little over $1,000 from a different company fir the same work. I was also quoted $1,000 less but by a company that was cutting corners like not pulling the permit.Pleased with the quality, service, and rate.

I did something silly by cutting a hole in my wall without ensuring there was no wiring in the path and cut through a wire. Mr. Electric responded the next day and fixed the problem quickly and neatly with a minimum of fuss and expense. The electrician, Nezir Aliko, was extremely professional and fixed my problem without making me feel dumb about what I did. In fact, Mr. Aliko offered me advice on how to finish my project safely and efficiently. I will definitely use Mr. Electric again in the future for my electrical needs.

Robert was excellent. He installed the ceiling, braced junction box and wired it to a switch. He cut the sheetrock neat and placed the pieces back in the wall. Although they do not reair sheetrock, he placed the sheetrock back with minimum gaps.Robert left the area clean and free of debris.

Great service and price. Electrician Mr. Garza did a wonderful job. I would recommend this company for anyone who needs good work on timely manner.

Burt came out to assess the issue with a kitchen outlet blowing fuses on a surge protector and microwave. He did the assessment one day and two days later got approval from the owner to do repairs. He identified the likely issue that blew the fuses, replaced one outlet so it could be used as a dedicated outlet, and checked all other kitchen outlets; as a bonus, he checked the fuse box outside and added labels for clarity. He was quick, professional, and friendly and willing to answer any technical questions to improve customer knowledge. Great experience and great technician! Thank you, Burt!

Mr. Electric has been amazing since the first phone call I had with them. Our electrician, Richard, was great to work with and would always ask our permission before making any cuts in the wall. I can't speak highly enough of him, we'll be having him perform all electrical work on our house from here on out.

Technician installed a replacement smart switch. It was not straight forward due to complications with 3-way and the other side. However, he resolved and got a successful install. They are VERY proud of their prices. Make sure you know it will not be cheap. Good electricians are worth paying for, but this was a bit over the top. Talk to them about this prior to starting the job.

Brandon Turner did an excellent job replacing and installing our recessed lights. He identified and corrected several existing problems. He was patient, diligent and did not stop working on one specific light that The builder installed incorrectly. He worked on that light more than an hour until it was right! We did not have a surge protector for our home and Brandon informed us about the problems and high costs that would cause. He installed that as well. We now have lights that we will never have to change the bulbs on. We have additional electrical work and we will be requesting Brandon again.

I schedule Mr. Electric for two services at two different locations on different days. They called at the last minute and canceled. I asked about the other location and they said they will not be able to make it; busy at another job. I said, ok but can they still come out I did not care how late... They still could not come out, tied up on another job... Save yourself some time, unless you work from home/retired.

Had these folks come out to look at an ongoing issue. Told them I wasn't going to pay them for coming out, told them what the issue wasn't and that I didn't want to be charged for flipping a breaker switch I can flip perfectly fine. They came out the next morning, diagnosed the issue free of charge, provided me with the solution and pricing, implemented the solution, then provided a clear and concise bill. Would highly recommend these folks, they are friendly, clean, professional and quick.

I forgot the name of the electrician that helped me but no complaints as far as knowledge and service goes. My biggest complaint was the absurd cost. I’m a reasonable person and would gladly pay a $50-$100/hr on top of any additional repair/installation fees if needed. For simple troubleshooting, no new installation or replacement of parts, was $270. Not to mention, the root cause to my problem could not be determined so I’m not sure if the same problem will happen again. There’s no way I’ll pay this company another $270 just to find out...

Overall good work. I would have given them 5 stars, but they tried to grossly over-charge me for installing an Ethernet Switch wall plate (they quoted me $650 which is highway robbery for something that takes 30 minutes to perform and costs less than $20 dlls in parts).

I was out of town and had a breaker flipped and could not get power to come back on , well she called this company and a technician came over and quoted right under 500 to replace 2 switches . IT not making sense to me I went home and opened the breaker box flipped the breaker switch over to the off position and back to on and the power came on.the problem was that when i break flips it goes to the middle . MY wife did not know she had to push it all the way to the off position then back to the on position to reset the switch . We called and told the company what happened and the lady on the phone rude very unprofessional. To me this was a basic fix and instead we were almost taken advantage of .worst experience I've ever received.

Fixed one switch for $2,500 and broke the switch right next to it. Didn't check so I had to figure it out myself. Not worth one dollar, I should have got a full refund but of course that will never happen...

We received truly fantastic service from Xavier at Mr. Electric. Xavier came out to fix a shorting-out problem with our stove, and noticed in so doing that the stove wasn't venting properly. He didn't have to mention it - he was there for something else, after all - but clearly cared about setting us up properly. He suggested getting in touch with a handyman, but also offered to take the work on himself - a job that most electricians wouldn't touch. We chose the latter option, and he came back and thoroughly and ingeniously fixed the problem. We're really grateful for his kindness and fine work - thank you Xavier.

Showed up right on time, the work involved both electrical & plumbing, the other electricians I called would not take the job because of the plumbing component, Todd got to job, finished both the the electrical & plumbing work. Going above & beyond he fixed another appliance that was malfunctioning, still sticking to the original quote. We are super impressed by the quality of his work & professionalism. Todd will be our go to guy from now on for all our electrical repair work.

Mr. Electric of Houston responded to a call about an inoperable electric outlet with a bad GFI. The electrician that was dispatched named Robert Vielma was “Great?” Robert was patient, respectful, and a qualified workman. He replaced the GFI quickly and efficiently. He also prepared a list of things in townhouse that needed repairing to submit to the management company and the owner.

The guy was early (as I requested). He was knowledgeable, fixed the problem in an hour, and charged exactly what he quoted. He was polite, friendly, and looked at another issue I had for no charge. I'll be using them again and requesting Hayden.

I cut a wire and called many places to have someone take a look. Finally Mr. Electric said “it sounds serious, we’ll find someone”. In a matter of 1 hour Brandon Turner was at my house tracing wires and trying to make sure it didn’t need to be shut off. Turns out it didn’t but I was so relieved!

Brandon came and replaced one of our breakers. He was so professional and friendly. I would highly recommend him to anyone with problems with their electric systems.
