I had questions about a repair Wired Electrical did at my home. An electrical panel box on the outside of my home was left open by their tech and parts from the box were on the ground a week after the job was completed. I called on Wednesday morning 01/11/2023 and asked if the technician could call me so I could address what needed to be done. After 48hrs of waiting for the call, I called back. Service manager Tommy eventually came online and made excuses for not returning my call and was very defensive and flip with me before I had an opportunity to tell him what my problem is. I’ve asked him to have his supervisor call me. I’m waiting for Wired Electric to assure me that their employee didn’t leave our home in an unsafe condition.

I spoke with and got quotes from several companies before deciding on Wired and I am very happy with my decision. I got a lot of work done to get my 1960s home up to modern power requirements. The quote was incredibly reasonable, and everyone was a pleasure to work with. Wired will be my go-to electrical company from here forward.

I have been a very happy - return Wired customer for almost 9 years. From our generator, to hanging lights and ceiling fans and security cameras. I can call on Wired for anything. I am happy to say that many of our neighbors hava also bought generators and have had service from Wired.

both employees that came to my home were professional, friendly, were very prepared with tools and equipment, and arrived on time. Their service center is also helpful and courteous. Their service has been above and beyond and very white-glove.

The Technician was very professional. He had enough experience to take an alternate path to make the proper connections for the 2 smoke detector installations.

We had an outlet that wasn't working and another that kept going out. It was a problem with two of the breakers in the panel. Angel replaced them and it solved the problem, no need to replace outlets. He was very professional and did not try to up sell us.

I had a auto lift installed into my shop and the electrical was horrendous, done within an extension cord and out of code. So I called WIRED told them my situation and they immediately scheduled me in and did an awesome professional job! Highly recommend them. Here’s some before and after photos

Generally, I have been pleased with the service provided by Wired. However, due to poor communication from the technicians, my most recent experience to have a light fixture installed ended up costing much more than was reasonable! Long story short - the first technician determined that a light fixture could not be repaired, but had to be replaced. I purchased what I thought was the correct fixture based upon his guidance; the next technician determined that it was, in fact, not the correct fixture, therefore requiring another trip charge. So 3 trip charges later, and after 2 trips to the hardware store, the correct fixture was installed.As I do not have any electrical expertise, I depend upon the technicians to provide me with good information, but that didn't happen in this case. Trip charges and fuel/toll charges add up in a hurry! I will certainly be sure to be provided with better information in the future.

Generator installation, relocation, and missing parts. I talked to Dawyne and when I was telling him that I already paid for the service of relocation and storage of my generator he got abrupt with me and hung up. He wanted an extra $200 to bring it back out to the house. They did a good job of getting my money $10,500 for the generator and instillation the first time and $650 for picking it up storing it, then bring it back to me when I moved into the new home. I called back and after three calls he was tired of hearing me and returned the generator as the paperwork stated. When I received the generator it was missing the keys to lock it and the top popped open so I cannot close it. And the hole that had a wireless communication $ 495 for the status of the generator, that was also missing. Dawyne also stated that he would send me the parts if he could find them or replace them. Four months later and nothing. I am not one to post things on review that are bad, but this time it had to be done to warn other to not do business with this company. If it went great this would be a different review like the first one I did when they originally installed it. Yes I did get a quote for the rehook up job which was stated going to be around 4-5 grand when they pulled it. When I got into the new home other companies were around 5-7 grand and then they came out and it was a different story. Theirs was $10,248 just for hooking it up with electrical and gas. The one I used is A1 plus electric for 5,200. That is probably another reason Dawyne was upset with me, because I asked for it back and he asked why and I stated it is mine and I want it back. He is not dumb and he knew that I was not going to use him. Here are some pictures to show that I am not lying or just putting out a bad review. If the company wants to do right, then do as you said and return my items that you owe me or replace them. Not that hard. I will change my review to we had some problems, but they fixed them. That easy. I hope this turns out good, will keep you posted. I changed the amount for hook up sorry was off by 1,750 as I have places the quote below. It was not stated correctly as the reply stated. I will let you as a reader make up your own mind as numbers do not match up from my quote which I have provided below and the quote that was stated by the company. Thanks again for reading. Not happy!! So I took some photos and they are below. I actually thought this was over, but I am very upset. And I also have a picture of the name of the person that sent it. I have been spelling his name wrong so I will get it right from now on. Duane instead of dawyne. This is the same guy that has “hung up on me and treated me bad”. Now this? I don’t think this is funny!! If the owner wants to call me you know how to get a hold of me. Or we can talk on the form. It is up to you.

Colby the Electrician with Wired Electrical Services made extensive wiring corrections that were required to eliminate numerous wiring errors made by another Generac Home Emergency Generator Supplier we contracted with to install a Generac Residential Standby Generator.And we contracted with Wired Electrical Service to provide PM Service on our Generac Generator, and Michael has been our service representative and performs his work extremely well, and also very responsive. From our experience, we highly recommend Wired Electrical Service for Home Emergency Generator installations and associated PM Maintenance Service.PS: Our Generac Standby Generator has been inservice and responsive to power outages ever since Wired Electrical Service make the wiring corrections and tested the operation of the Unit under full power load. And the PM services they have provide are FIRST CLASS and completed in accordance with the full PM Requirements and Schedules specified by Generac for our model Standby Generator (Required to Maintain the Full Generac Warranty).

I called because the WiFi and my ring weren’t working although when I tested the Ring it showed power and responded to WiFi but wouldn’t ring except on my phone. The Ring connector was previously wired to the old doorbell and had started ringing continuously which was why I called Wired.The worker rewired the ring connection to the attic after reading the Manuel and talking to someone more familiar with ring than he was.After he did this the Ring didn’t work at all. He tried several options but although he showed there was power going to the Ring, it no longer even would ring on the phone. After several hours of trying he said I had to contact Ring.I called Ring and they sent a replacement that I will try to install this weekend.Spend several hours and a lot of money on a very nice repair man but the problem isn’t resolved.

They were on time, had responded quickly to my call, quoted the job quickly, and are courteous and friendly!

I hired Wired to come out and install this whole house surge protector. The electrician placed the breaker in the worst location. If he'd read the instructions, he would have installed it as close to the main as possible and moved the rest down. Too expensive for me even for good work and to know more than them makes me not want to return. I still have power surges throughout the house. Not cool when you work from home.

We had Wired Electrical Services install security lighting under the eaves of our house. We are thoroughly happy with the work that they did—the job was done promptly, neatly and carefully. Wehave used Wired before and have always been happy with their work.

We had a floor outlet that Raymond had looked at when he came to put in a fan for us. It still didn’t work so we had him look at it again. It it NOW repaired.He also put a variable fan switch on the outlet for the fan he put in before. He didn’t have one when he out the fan in.We had beige switch covers, but all he could find were white so this one doesn’t match other outlets in the room.So you can see he had to come back for work he wasn’t able to or didn’t complete the first time. I hope the fee reflected that, but I’m not sure it did!

The Wired technician, Clint, performed every task today in a professional manner in less than 45 minutes. The entire time he maintained an informative conversation with me and provided impressive product knowledge while completing a Generac installation that 2 previous electrical contractors could not.In my experience customers rarely receive the kind of service excellence provided by this outstanding service technician. Clint also provided his personal phone contact details in case an issue arose that he did not cover during the orientation he provided. Clint's professionalism exceeded my expectations.

Customer service was very poor. I spoke to DUANE who says he's the manager was condescending & unprofessional & hung up the phone on me. I have never experienced a total lack of respect like this. We recently purchased a home with a generator & called Wired to come service it since we have no experience with generators. The tech who came out was timely & courteous but when we asked about a gas meter to run the generator he didn't know & said to call his manager for more info so I did. The manager said to call Centerpoint to install the meter then call him back, so I did. When I called the manager back to request follow up service (as he directed me to do), he said I had to pay the full fee again & when I questioned the fee he became argumentative and extremely rude. Will NEVER use this company again. BEWARE!

I arranged with Wired Electrical Services to have them replace and install a new light fixture in our home swimming pool yesterday, Wed. March 30, 2022. The dispatcher, Ellie, scheduled for an electrician/technician to come to our home between 2:00 and 6:00 pm today March 31, 2022 to install the fixture. It is now 7:00 p.m. and no-one from this company ever showed up. Furthermore, they did not even have the decency and courtesy to call to reschedule their failed appointment.To the Owner of Wired Electrical Services:There is a discrepancy regarding what the technician's account and what really transpired during last night's telephone call. To be clear he called after 7: 20 P.M, when it was already dusk, and said he couldn't come to our home because one of his earlier service calls took him almost all day to finish. I asked him whether he could still come over to make the installation. He said he was already home and didn't think he could make it and that I should call the office next morning to reschedule.My exception to this situation is that when Angel, the technician, found out he was running late, rather than making me wait for him for over three hours, why didn't he call me earlier so I could call your office to reschedule the appointment. Or why didn't he call the office himself when he could have. His lack of customer service, lack of professional courtesy, lack of communication and shoddy handling of this matter needs to be brought to your attention.With people like that working for you, I would definitely not even think of rescheduling our installation with your company. Thankyou.

Inspection has not passed from a project installing the manual transfer switch for the generator the inspection for this install failed and the permit has remained open since July 2021 all calls have gone unanswered from this company. We had the manual transfer switch installed for emergency generator capabilities and when the inspector came out to close the permit they found that there is not disconnect on the building side of the meter. This is a code violation. In order to fix this issue, the city of Houston is looking for “existing and new 1 line drawings” of the electrical in the facility. This has not been supplied as of today 4/8. I am reaching out to other contractors to have this resolved.

Where to begin… Installation of our standby generator was incredibly poorly done. From permit issues, improper gas hookup resulting in a gas leak, incomplete installation of the transfer switch, improper rust prevention on an installed gas line. And that was before they committed fraud by charging my card for services they hadn’t provided, then telling me it was my fault they had entered my email address incorrectly into their monitoring system and wanted an extra $15 for the chargeback that came from their mistake—of course I said that I wouldn’t be charged a fee for their mistake… they waited a few weeks and went ahead and charged the fee anyway.All said, avoid this company like the plague.Edit to the company response: “No mistake was made when setting up the account.”—absolutely false and I have the emails and contract for the Omnimetrix system to prove it.“our accounting manager sent you the invoice making you aware of the charge. Instead of calling our office to clarify, you stopped payment, and claimed that we had not set up the service.”—Kim only contacted me after the stop payment, no one responded to the many emails I sent before that.“The $15.00 charge back was from you stopping payment, which could have been avoided had you contacted our office.”—I made it 100% clear I wasn’t going to take responsibility for the $15 you decided to charge because of your office’s mistakes. Your business charged it anyway. What would you call that?

Sabrina Longoria was so professional and responsive despite my frustration with a certain process. She never got out of character even while my venting was passionate. She remained calm and simply executed until my request was completed. This changed my thoughts around a process that was very touchy for me. She deserved to be recognized

Tommy gave me an estimate for $4600 to activate my Generac 22K. I suggested to Tommy that he had his wires crossed as all I needed was to disconnect my current 20K and install my new 22K. Labor only. He insisted it would cost $4600. If Tommy had said it would cost $1K or even $1200, I would have said, When can you do the work.So I hired another licensed installer. I paid $100 to disconnect my old unit and $200 to reconnect my new unit. I spent $300 vs. $4600 and would have gladly paid you folks $1K. I even gave Tommy a 2nd opportunity to revise his estimate. I was hoping to begin a relationship with Wired Electric as I was pleased with the work that Clint (sp) did in diagnosing my problem. My conclusion, either Tommy is incompetent or he is ripping off your customers.

Wired Electric came out and serviced my generator. They fixed a pre-existing problem and were punctual. They came through for us and I will forever be grateful. Will use them every year for maintenance every year. Thank you Wired Electrical! Thank you Nathaniel. Highly recommend this company.

We have personally used them on our house three times and they have been very informative and professional everytime. Today, after being on hold with a warranty company for over 20minutes, I called Wired. My call was answered on the first ring! I was so surprised that all I could say was how awesome that was! They are honest and tell you upfront how much they charge per hour.

I had an appointment for a whole house generator estimate and it was a no call/no show. The appointment time frame was between 3-5 on Monday, February 7th. I even called several times and the phone line was BUSY. I rearranged my schedule for this appointment. I will go elsewhere for a generator estimate since I don't want to do business with a company that treats potential customers like this!!

These guys were referred by another contractor as doing quality work. We hired them to do some outdoor lighting installation at our home. Their attention to detail and aesthetics was top notch. They held themselves accountable for their work by taking the time to do it right. Their pricing was very reasonable, and their attitudes were positive and friendly. I don't have a single criticism of their work. Will recommend often and use them again!

I had an excellent experience with Wired Electrical Services. I had called several companies to compare prices, Wired has the best rate of them all (don't forget to sign up to their email list to get access the coupon to print out!). I had scheduled a 7AM appointment. The technician arrived early! We promptly discussed what work was to be performed and he started immediately. The technician had all of the tools and supplies necessary to complete the required work! Wired ES has definitely earned a repeat customer for any future electrical work for me!!

I just had Wired Electrical Services repair my electrical wiring. I am extremely happy with the work that Carlos did. I called for a quote and they said they could get someone out to look at the problem the same day and 45 minutes later he was at my house working. On the phone, Ben told me what the problem was probably going to be and sure enough, when Carlos came out to do the repair, it was exactly correct! He gave me a fair quote, found a way to do the job economically and had me a formal quote 1 hour later!They scheduled a person in to fit into my schedule perfectly when the technician came, he was right on time, very professional and very, very thorough. He made sure everything was done just right. He didn't cut corners and gave me exactly what I asked for.I will use their services in the future and will recommend them to all that need this sort of service.

I had a tech come to replace a bunch of light switches and outlets (changing from beige to white) among other things. After he left I noticed that one of the switches he replaced wouldn't turn off, so the light (in a closet) was on and couldn't be turned off. I called this morning to ask to have someone come out and fix their mistake and was told that since I provided the materials (a basic light switch from Lowes) their warranty did not apply so I would have to pay the fixed service call charge plus time and materials. I was pretty surprised - I mean, shouldn't there have been some quality control in the installation process such as turning the light on and off to make sure it was working before he moved on to the next one? And let's be real - everyone buys the same exact light switch hardware - this wasn't anything complicated. After arguing with the person on the phone, her compromise was that rather than insisting on charging me to have someone come fix their mistake, I could sign a Warranty Form that stated that if they came on site and determined that the issue was not their fault but was due to faulty materials provided by the customer, I would be charged for time and materials. So here's the summary: they came and did something wrong, then when I wanted them to fix it, they called it a warranty issue and I have to worry that if they come to fix it I might end up owing them another $200+. And on top of that I now have to find a new electrician!

After looking at reviews here, we decided to have WIRED come out and give us an estimate on having the aluminum wiring taken care of and having a new breaker box installed. The estimate was fair and they arrived exactly when stated to complete the work. They were fast and did a great job, we would use them again in the future!

As a realtor, having relationships with licensed professionals is very important. I was recently introduced to this company by a colleague. Today I am beyond impressed. I did not receive information on behalf of my client as promised. The owner of the company answered after business hours and made sure I received the information tonight. Great customer service that is hard to come by these days!!

They installed a generator. I would have given them a 5 star rating, but when we had a problem that I believe was related to the generator installation they charged me to come and try to find the problem without notifying me that they were charging. All of the upstairs power went off and then on several times. Because they connected all power to the generator we thought that is the only thing that could cause this problem so they sent the generator guy and he said nothing with the generator so they sent the electrician and he said nothing wrong with the electricity but he said he tightened everything and ended up walking around and waiting then charged us for 2 hours of his time and they charged us by the hour. We didn’t know they were going to charge us. So after his discount we still had to pay $235.99.Surprisingly we have not had the short since then, but we still feel that it was related to their connecting everything to the generator. There should not have been a charge.

I have used Wired Electrical Services for many years and they do very good work. I always get an estimate from the electrician on how long he thinks the work will take and the cost involved before he starts the work. Once we agree on this estimate the end results are always good. They will work with you to stay in your budget. I will always use them for my electrical work.

I need two separate ratings, one for price and one for performance. Performance even though it was a simple main breaker switch out was 5/5 showed experience and that they knew what they were doing. The price, even though it was reduced was still ridiculous (250 dollar Emergency call no problem!) But initially they wanted over 350 dollars for a 65-100 dollar breaker. Which I could have purchased from a local supply house if the issue did not occur after 6 o'clock on a Thursday. After a short complaint the price was reduced from over 350 dollars to 144 and some change. A 300-400% mark up on material on the truck is not acceptable. Besides the cost the service was good, based on service I would use Wired again, based on price a big no.

I purchased a SPA and had no idea as to who to call first, the installers or the electricians. Wired Electric Services worked with me to a seamless resolution. The work was done right when I needed it. The quality and workmanship are excellent and the most economical of all the estimates I received. I did not use the SPA until my company arrived from North Carolina recently so I could not give a review at the time but since it is now in service I am duty bound and morally obligated to claim the gift, Wired Electric Services, has been to my economy and the quality of my life. We use Wired Electrical Services for all our electrical needs for the past 3 years since we bought our new home. The technicials are friendly and very good at what they do. Plus the peace of mind it brings to have a certified electrician work on the house is priceless.I am always impressed with their timely response to my inquiries and their availability for rush jobs. I called several electrical service companies for quotes to get a job done at my place of business. Wired Electrical was the lowest bid. They showed up on time to do the work and completed it much quicker than I expected. The technician had all the parts needed with him and he cleaned up everything before he left. I am completely satisfied with the work performed and the price.

I have been using Wired Electric ever I since moved to Houston 4 years ago. In a city of this size, it can be tough to find a reliable electric company, but I knew that I had a winner with Wired. They have done everything from running new home runs for appliances to repair frayed wiring in my attic. I have never needed to look for a backup electrician because they are always on time, on quote and friendly and courteous.

Today I just had Wired Electrical services install a interlock on my panel so I could connect a generator to my homes electrical system. They also installed a plug to connect the generator, a 110 outlet, and a ground rod. The VP, Ben, was very knowledgeable and helpful. The electrician who came to the house, Anthony, was very knowledgeable, considerate, and conscientious about his work. They seemed to charge a reasonable price (much lower than some) and I was impressed with Anthony and his work. I would certainly call them again. Thanks Guys. Mark

Wired has replaced nearly every decorative fixture in our home as well as installed numerous outlets, cans, and flood lights. They meet every awkward challenge with a solution and always get the job done right. Anthony is especially detailed in measuring and centering the fixtures perfectly. I have and will continue to call Wired again and again.

Wired installed security lighting for me recently, they are coming back to install a new ceiling fan next week. They are easy to schedule with, they show up on time and their prices are very good. I definitely recommend them.

I needed work done quickly so could not afford the time to negotiate the price or find an alternate electrician. The price started at $3,800.00 but dropped to $3,500.00 when I questioned the cost. 3 men completed the work in 4.5 hours with about $200.00 of material. I also got them while on site to run 10 feet of conduit and wire and connect to an existing power outlet. The charge for this was $400.00. I did not check this connection but 3 weeks later went to use it to find it had no power. I then engaged another electrical firm to check and what they found was not according to TX code and was a bad installation.My recommendation is not to use this firm for any electrical work unless you expect to get rapped.

We have used them several times to replace an old outdoor outlet, fix a faulty GFI and fix a short happening in some outdoor lighting. They showed up on time, were polite, and did a good job. Will call again.

Low hassle good service on annual generator maintenance on Gererac 22kw natural gas fired generator.

USE SOMEONE ELSE. I recently made the huge mistake of using this company. We had several a/c plugs in the laundry room and one on the outside by the back door that quit working. Their electrician spent about an hour trying to find the source of the problem. He never succeeded and insisted on charging around $180 for his time, even though he failed to find and correct the problem. I tried to reach a supervisor or customer service and they wouldn’t even bother to return my call. Ripoff artists....

Don't use Wired for a home electrical project. I called, they came out and charged me 59.99 for a quote that was 3 to 4 times more than any individual, licensed electrician I got free quotes from through Nextdoor or Thumbtack.

I had a great experience with Wired. They came out on a Sunday and fixed the wiring for my water heater. They clearly explained the issue with my wiring and fixed it right away.

First thing in the morning I went to turn on the lights in back of the house and heard a crackling noise and then all the electricity went out. I immediately called Wired Electric and not only did they answer the phone, but they put me on their priority list and are coming to fix the issue first thing - keep in mind that all of this took place before 6am!! Their customer service is top notch, not to mention a job well done!!

Wired's electrician was supposed to arrive at my house on thursday sep,24 before 5pm. The electrician was still not at my house at 5:30. I called the company at that time and was informed that he was running late. I rescheduled for Monday between 12-3 (I took off work for this). Once again the electrician did not show up. I called the main office and requested an update at which point I was basically stone walled and told to just wait patiently. They refused to give me an updated eta. They may be decent electricians however, I have taken 2 days off work to have this work done and it has not taken place. I will never use these people again, as I feel they can not be counted on to do what they say they will. If you want a company you can count on, this is not it.

Wired installed a generator at my house. Recently I had an issue with it, and a tech was at my house in 15 minutes from the time i called to take care of the issue. Highly recommend Wired

Called these guys to change a GFI on the outside of the house. Over the phone they told me that it should take less than one hour to change it, but they charge minimum of one hour to come out. I thought that sounded fair. Once the electrician got to my house, though, he took 2.5 hours to change ONE single GFI switch and handed me a bill for about $400. When I questioned him he became defensive and rude. I cannot believe that it can take a certified electrician this long to change one switch. Either this guy had no idea what he was doing or this company is scamming the public. I think all these wonderful reviews they have listed must be from their family members, because if this is the level of ethics that this company displays, I cant imagine how anyone can recommend them in all honesty. BEWARE!!!

Just had a lot of electrical work completed and I can't say enough about the speed and quality of the work. Had to dig a trench for 130 feet of buried electrical conduit and pull wiring for same. Installed two additional lighting fixtures, replace wrong size electrical breakers for our air conditioning equipment and correct some sloppy work from the original builder of the home in the primary breaker box. Very pleased with Scott the tech that did all of the work and was assisted by Colby.

This review is not based on the company's service, but for their aggressive electrician's driving. Tailgating people then driving past them mouthing obscenities does not help the image of your company that you work for. Knowing the type of road rage they have makes their actual services very questionable if they can't stay professional when driving a company vehicle. Rip off. They wanted to charge me $80 for a $15 dimmer. When I questioned the price, thus said that the owner (Nathaniel) sets the prices and they have no control.Do not use unless you like being ripped off. They have lost a long term customer today.

WIRED has great 24 hour services!! My lights shut off when I was home alone and someone came out quickly and helped me! They are awesome!!

Unfriendly technician who took 1.5 hours to go to Home Depot for a replacement flood light....prob took himself to McDonald's on the way!! Obviously was charged for his time. Messy little pest too!! Most tradesmen at least attempt to clean up after themselves...not this one! Will not be requiring their services in future.

Your employees are making your business look bad because they're driving like maniacs in neighborhoods in company vehicles. If the speed is 30 miles per hour you should be doing 30 miles an hour through a neighborhood where there are kids walking home from school.
