By far my best experience with an electric service in the area! They were easy to schedule a same day appointment then upon arrival quick to diagnose the problem. Had the pleasure of meeting several employees and Paul too, all of whom were very professional and courteous. Will definitely refer them to my friends and family and saved their number immediately. While the initial consultation and assessment from Matthew was promptly and professionally handled, the actual work contracted was never performed and the company charged me regardless. The people assigned to the work arrived at 9pm (even though the time window was set between 1 and 4pm) reset a breaker and left. After complaining about this, another person was sent out a couple of days later (arriving outside of the window again) only to once again not perform the work and to tell me the original assessment wasn't done properly --- and that he would send me a quote for the work that was actually needed. I attempted to work with the company to remove the charges for work not performed, but they were not responsive. Lots of good reviews here on Google--- not so much on Yelp as I learned a little too late. My experience seems to not be unique.

Mr. Electric schedule a technician on a day that was best for me. The tech showed up on time and prepared to complete the work. He was professional and polite, delivery quality service at a reasonable cost.

Stephen suggested several ways to address my need for installing power to my backyard shop. He then returned and did a great job setting it up on a very hot day. I highly recommend him.

They were Awesome!Working on a re-do, I needed pretty prompt attention initially in switching out several old outlets (old 2-prong outlets) and breaker box assessment before plumber would complete his portion. Contacted several Electricians that I had previously used (1 of 4 responded and he wasn't available) so in a moment of meltdown mode I began searching the internet. Nextdoor had good reviews from more than just a handful of folks so I took a leap of faith and completed the 'contact us' portion on their site and low and behold they returned my call within the hour and Sal came by shortly after lunch. He assessed the situation, provided a very fair and reasonable quote (slightly less than I anticipated) and returned the following morning to do the job. Sal is personable, professional and was a pleasure to work with!! I highly recommend them and will definitely add them to my Contact list for further electrical assistance. A lifetime client was made. I can’t explain how amazing the customer service was in my experience. I contacted on a Friday night at 6pm to let them know a portion of my house had no power. They literally were on their way home for the weekend and turned around to come help me and my family. This right there should show you how amazing of a company this is. I needed a manual interlock and inlet installed for my portable generator. They had to wait for parts since the demand was so high after the winter storm. When parts came in they set up an appointment the next day and showed up on time. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves. They also had the best price. This was the most horrible electrician I've ever called. Mr. Sparky has been bought out and new owner. The electrician they sent out was fiddling with my electrical outlets and now been burdened with an enormous repair with another company. He did NOT know what he was doing. He was all over the map on his quote and kept back peddling when asked with a question. The quotes came back all over the map and was $$$ exhorbitant for what was needed. Not only have I now been saddled with enormous damage from the electrician at my home but I called the owner back, asked for the owner. He never called me back, sent his wife to call me. She laughed at me on the phone, refused to return my $89 service call and said they pride themselves on making money 100-200/week calls of $89. They are looking at volume and not integrity. The old Mr. Sparky reputation is gone. Mr. Sparky is no longer the owner. I would never recommend this company. Horrible! Customer beware!

I have been working in the low voltage industry for over 21 years. Once in a great while you come upon a contractor that not only meets your needs but goes WAY above and beyond your needs. Melton Electric is top notch! There's not enough words to describe them but I'll try - professional, thorough, personable, timely, dedicated. You'll be hard pressed to find a contractor (and a team of people) better than Melton Electric. Roman Randall (and all the people at Melton) always gives 110% to get the job done. If you're thinking about using them - don't hesitate. Just do it!
