PHR was truly incredible to work with from start to finish. We couldn't be happier with our final product - 3 beautiful new bathrooms - but, also with the entire process and team. They were efficient, fair, trustworthy, communicative and SO easy to work with. We felt confident leaving them to finish the job without us onsite and knew what was happening with the project every step of the way. My wife and I did a lot of research collecting and formulating in advance our goals for our kitchen remodel. Steve Shinn and Aaron Thomas were extremely professional in every phase of the project. Our 1981 semi-custom home in Tempe was not an open floorplan by design. Steve listened and looked at all our research and together we came up with solutions that met our expectations and budget. Steve applied the classic work space triangle concept that is the cornerstone to making our new kitchen chef friendly. He included some extras like the pull out vertical pantry cabinets, deep appliance drawer cabinets and two waist-high spice drawers that are all utilized daily. Soffits were removed to allow full height upper cabinets greatly expanding cabinet capacities.

We wanted the warm look and feel of wood cabinetry. In particular we liked the minimum reveal look associated with modern European style cabinets. Steve did trade-off comparisons for us on locally crafted vs factory cabinets from the east coast. The local source worked out well as some unplanned adjustments were quickly crafted with little delay to the project.

We further challenged Steve with our lighting and power requirements. We have zoned ceiling lighting with small LED can lights as LED's were then becoming reasonably priced. All the appliance power outlets are hidden under the cabinets and under the granite breakfast bar. This solution allowed for a plug free stainless steel continuous backsplash with under cabinet mounted LED lighting.

In summary: Our experience using Homework Remodels was beyond our expectations. They should be high on your list to talk to and see if they can be the solution you have been looking for your remodel.

Remodels are always late and over-budget. I am sure you have heard that before. That summarizes our experience. We remodeled our floors, kitchen and bathroom. They were not cheap, end product was good but way over-budget, late and full of surprises. We made our selections and signed our lives away in March 2019, the project was completed in October 2019. We decided to finance the project, the sales rep indicated we would not need to provide a downpayment so we signed our lives away. A few months later the owner contacted us and indicated we needed to pay a 30% downpayment so that they could place the order. 30%!!!!!!!!

If they actually worked every business day this project would have taken 1 month.

Would I hire them again? NO
Would I go through a remodel again? NO

I had a Sales Consultant provide a quote on a small stucco job on January 18th. The consultant was nearly 2 hours late past HIS stated arrival time for the appointment. Upon reviewing the quote, it was nearly $700 more than the next “highest” bid. Needless to say, I did not go with TWD, as they obviously do not value the customer’s time or input. *Update* The owners are claiming to have time stamped photos. I have phone logs, showing the estimator didn’t arrive until nearly 2 hours after his stated arrival time. I got a phone call at 10:31 AM, saying he was on his was way (but didn’t actually arrive for nearly another 40 minutes as he “had to stop by the office”), so how is it possible for them to have time stamped photos of my house at 10:35?

Couldn't be happier with our Walk In Shower. Top notch service, top notch design and professionalism. excellent customer service; timely in meeting their deadlines; and very kind and professional in all their interactions with me and my partner. the project was updating stairs to have wood that would match the main floor. the end result was a wonderful match and stairs well, and tightly crafted.
