Our project was enclosing a small lanai and adding a 17’ x 40’ Workshop. Their bid (I obtained 4) was very competitive and we enjoyed working with Bret. He was always on top of everything pertaining to our project and was quick to respond whenever we had questions. The workmanship was first class and we plan to hire them for future home improvements. We had Spicegirl Remodeling renovate our kitchen this summer. New floor, countertops, tiling, lots of painting. We are extremely pleased with how the kitchen came out. Ericka was awesome and did what was necessary to ensure a great outcome. As with just about any project of this nature there will be bumps along the way but it is how those bumps are dealt with that matters. Ericka was flawless in handling those bumps and we can't thank her enough. After several months everything is holding up beautifully. Her crew was also very professional and we enjoyed having them work in our home. I highly recommend them!

Everybody that came to the house was very professional. I have used them for several projects. At this point they installed my countertops, did my flooring and my bathroom countertops as well. I have a couple more projects for them as well. They gave me a deadline and completed it on time. Very happy with the work they did for me.

Company 2☆ Product 3☆ Window Install
It's a headache to repeat it. Bought windows in November, 2 people both stated should be no problem getting them in before Christmas. Noted this on my order. Never notified until January. Repeated phone calls and emails with no reply!!! Said your windows are in will be installed in 4 days 10am, move all furniture, take down all window treatments. As a single old lady, I got all this done by 9:00. Then 10 minutes before they were scheduled to show up got a call, windows aren't in yet, didn't find out till last night. In fact they haven't even been started yet, due to holidays. May be a while. Don't need to get into my response to a company that has no idea how to conduct business. Fast forward to February. Showed up with windows but no trim. In their defense they only had a few months to prepare. Will get trim installed next day. Meanwhile they ran out of supplies, left holes to the outside when caulking, said no to worry will fill it in with foam. What's a waterproof seal anyway, they are energy efficient windows, they were small holes, what do they care. Next day trim. Ran out of product again. Left nice black smudges all over trim. So now the homeowner is stuck painting dirty trim, outside caulking and cleaning windows with small amounts of foam or whatever. Of course on outside of second story windows.

Windows themselves are nice enough. Not thrilled with the large black tabs to remove them standing out like a soar thumb on my white framed windows. The screens do not fit securely and do not have rubber seal going around to keep bugs out. You can see the gap to the outside world.

So recap:
• company does not return phone calls or email. EVER! Even after install.
• not concerned with emails stating complaints. Just say sorry for inconvenience.
• no idea or follow through with product manager or customers at any time.
• do not plan or review before install
• scheduler should be fired (guy not girl)
• one person has no idea what the other is doing nor cares
Just plain shottie company with poor customer service.

We hired 123 Remodeling to renovate our kitchen and are so glad we did. Their designer came out for our first meeting and took measurements and explained the entire process to us. She has a great eye for detail and is very knowledgeable when it comes to knowing exactly what colors, finishes and fixtures will look best. Contractors showed up on time every day and their work quality was high-end. We love our new kitchen, thanks 123!

Steve, my technician was amazing! Very thorough and precise. And considerate as I left him alone in my house and he remembered to turn the thermostat back up when he left!
Blake was very patient and helpful in my initial selection process.

Great work converting our bathroom tub to walk in shower! Enrique was the leader onsite and did most of the work. ... can't give high enough praise. Attention to detail was awesome. Work was done in a timely fashion. You have got to use XLT construction!

I called the office and was pleasantly guided towards providing value. The staff provided an appointment for Tony to come out and visit our home. He was prompt, prepared, and literally ready to do the work on the spot. We scheduled out for a few days since we needed to be prepared to have the water turned off for him to do the work.

He came back though, completed the work better than my expectation, and the job is never a penny more than the quoted bid. You aren't paying for a guy to sit around and milk you for time and run the bill up. If it's $300, that's it. 1 hour or 3 hours, you are locked in which is a nice change from the guess work that can happen on vague project timelines.

Very disappointed in Design Lab. We hired them for 2 bathrooms and a master bedroom closet. Contractors are still working but getting close to finalization yet there is still no closet which should have been here by now. Just heard from Bri that the closet will ship from Chicago July 26 and will be in Phoenix the following week. All of our clothes and shoes are laid out throughout the house making life miserable while one half of the house is blocked off for renovations. BE CAREFUL UP FRONT ON TIMING WITH THIS COMPANY and THEY WILL NICKLE AND DIME you along the way for various things they forgot to order. I will show you receipts if they say otherwise. Also, if doing bathrooms, know that they don't price the shower doors, sliding doors or granite counter tops. That will also be an expense you will pay additionally and you will have to order on your own as we did. Truthfully, you can do the design yourself. hind sight is 20/20. Hoping the closet get here soon!

Urban Element redesigned and rebuilt our outdated 90s bath including mitigating leaks and mold where the shower door had leaked water into the drywall and concern about a 25 year old fiberglass soaking tub with a 2 foot lateral break that had been repaired with caulk. We had on-site estimates from four other companies and felt uneasy with each one. The estimate and written bid via email from Quentin made us confident enough to try this. And we're glad we did. They came in on a tight budget (which was a huge relief) and the project was done on time if not a day or two early. We appreciated being able to keep the materials budget separate so we could control those costs. They were efficient and we had a nice bonus after returning unopened extra tile boxes which offset a few other finishings we could then afford. We were impressed at their calm resilience when dealing with various challenges unique to our remodel. The solutions they proposed were elegant and solid. They were punctual, communicated well and kept a clean jobsite. We were living in the home during the remodel and appreciated the polite and professional crew. Everyone enjoyed their work and had the time to be there fully even despite starting another huge project compared to our single bath remodel. They never skimped or rushed our job. When we requested multiple fixes for a minor aspect of the remodel, they made it right by simply taking out and replacing the whole thing with better engineered parts. The final result was solidly engineered and beautifully done with the materials we picked out. The company leadership is ethical and budget-oriented and straightforward. Clearly an oustanding example of what a good home builder should be - resilient, responsible, and admirable. In short, this was an oustanding remodel.

Ken deserves the 5 Star rating. There were a few minor issues like every build goes through, but Ken made sure these were taken care of promptly. This is what a good company does. Highly recommend using them.

Our countertops were installed on Monday, and we love them. Our installer, Brad, showed up on time for the measure and install. Ernesto was able to transform my home into the inviting/warm atmosphere I always wanted, but never knew how to create. I loved that he created sketches to help me to really see what he had in mind for a space. I found the process of bringing these sketches to live incredibly simple. Ernesto was always open to all feedback, but I found that every time he brought his top selections for furniture design/fabrics, he always hit the nail on the head. Patterns and color schemes I never would have considered before, came together perfectly & created a brightness in my home I never had. Also, with 3 young boys it was very important to me that we focused on durability. I have seen my beautiful pillows tossed every which way in my home & over a year later and they look as beautiful as they did on day 1.

I also feel quite thankful that my appointment with Ernesto overlapped with a landscape designer one afternoon as Ernesto took one look at our backyard & the design we had & with a few sketches transformed a patio area we were working on.

Ernesto listens to his clients, follows thru on commitments made, and is truly just a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend his services.

Jeremy the Handyman reinvented the industry standard. They do it by establishing trust with me as a client. A promise is made and it's kept until the job is finished. I continue to use their service from everything including painting, fan installation, and as of late my bedroom remodel. The skills needed to repair and fix my house problems, I do not possess. Everyone is qualified but the best part...happy go lucky attitude. So refreshing in the world today. House fixes or repairs the problem? I'm in the east valley between Scottsdale and Gilbert, AZ but I'm sure glad to find Jeremy the Handyman, his wife in the office works a crazy filled schedule constantly so thanks to her!
