Best System Installation in Phoenix AZ

We are so glad that we went with PEP Solar. We talked with several other providers; one was completely unprepared and wasted our time. Not so with PEP.

Background:

We purchased the house in Dec 2011 and moved in Jan 2012. The house was built in 1992 and most of the dual pane windows had leaked and all had the typical bronze aluminum frames and were difficult to slide open. The AC was original, 20 years old, and the fan motor was leaking; multiple recommendations were to replace rather than repair. We had a lot of noise from the air handler inside the house. Whenever the AC or gas furnace kicked on, we had to turn up the TV. We couldn't live with this noise. These were all known issues when purchasing the house and we budgeted for repairs.

Having solar was only a wish list item at the time of the house purchase; we didn't know what a system would cost, maintenance required, whether to buy or lease, warranties, etc. PEP patiently answered our questions and we eventually decided to purchase rather than lease.

One of the unique products PEP offers is an AC (heat pump) with solar assist by Sedna Aire. This sealed the deal. Yes, this is an expensive AC system but with the tax rebate, it was a reasonable additional cost over what a similar two-stage AC unit would have cost. Due to the efficiency of the AC, the size of the PV array could be reduced and still meet our energy saving goals.

From signed contract to commissioning was 1 month, outstanding!

We really like the features of the AC. When the air handler turns on, it slowly ramps up the speed; no sudden off-to-on transition. Most of the time it runs at half speed, providing pleasant air movement with minimal noise. The compressor (outdoor unit) is also very quiet compared to the old unit. It is located at a corner of the house where we have a covered patio. When out on the patio, the neighbors AC makes more noise than ours.

PEP was able to accurately factor in all of our planned improvements (AC replacement, new windows, LED bulbs) to design a 5 KW system that has met our electricity needs for the past year. The total APS payments for the 12 months since going solar was $340. I'm guessing this is close to what the summertime per-month cost would have been! This includes our heating cost as well; gas bill for hot water and range is less than $20 per month. We couldn't be more pleased.

The team came and got it done efficiently without any issue to note at all. The panels and hardware all look great!

Recently I noticed that two of my panels were shown in a different shade of blue when reviewing the panel array section of the monthly production report shown on the Enphase website used for monitoring. I called Solar Topps, the firm that installed the solar back in 2017, to ask them to diagnose the problem. Shortly after one of their technicians scheduled an appointment to do a field inspection that disclosed burn marks on the two panel. A warranty application was promptly prepared by Solar Topps and forwarded to Hyundai, the panel manufacturer in Korea for approval. After prompt and persistent follow by Solar Topps an approval was granted. Two new panels were installed on my roof within 30 days of discovering the problem at no expense to me. I'm very grateful to the staff and management of Solar Topps for the hassle-free follow through and the standing behind of their warranty obligations......Tom Snyder

From day 1 it was such a pleasant experience, dealing with my Sales Rep Michelle Davis.
She explained everything about Solar to me and what her company had to offer as well as helping me with the financing, they had a good program for that as well.
I had done my homework prior to making my decision to go with Rooftop Solar and had spoken to 2 other companies before making my decision that this was the company I would give my business to. My project manager Danielle T was Awsome, she was in contact with me the entire time, great at communicating through emails and a couple of phone calls which she returned always the same day. Their customer service was the best I've had in a long time.
Overall a great experience.

The staff members were very down to earth and easy to talk to. My friend referred me and said that it was a smart move financially, saved money and installation wasn't a pocket breaker. Many of my neighbors have gotten it done and continue to as they move in. The company is great and very accommodating, can't say anything negative they did their job and did it well.

This company is the BEST when it comes to solar system installations. I did quite a bit of homework before selecting a company to go with. Aneva provides you with everything you need to know and follows through to the T on everything they state will be done. The panels are very high quality, and they also provide a free app to monitor the solar production real-time. I've had my panels since the beginning of September (delivered ahead of the estimated installation date) and I am confident they are performing just as they should be. I am seriously considering on adding an additional panel or two, or a battery back-up system.
I had my roofing company come back to make sure everything with my roof was still perfect after the solar panels were installed. The roofing company was astonished at the quality of work and said they would start referring customers to Aneva.
Last, but certainly not least, Aneva's costs are very much in line with what solar systems should cost, while other companies are charging many thousands more for less efficient panels and mediocre installations.
I will end this review the same way I started it - this company is the best when it comes to solar system installations!!

We have used Watt Masters for the last 10yrs, everything from outlets/lights to Hi voltage electrical gear, works on most of you solar installation projects, great job, will continue to use them on our projects.

Called and Mike was very prompt. Emailed me as he was on his way. I read a lot of his reviews and he is right on the spot. Was fast knew what was needed and installed within a week. Came back and showed me what was up with the inverter. I was not home at the time. Very smart I will keep his number to help me with my solar, because my solar panels are 18 years old. Not many companies would do as good as he did. Would recommend definitely!

Tesla Solar were great to work with. They went out of their way to get us any information we wanted and did not try to sell us more than we needed. They took care of all the permits, were here when they said they would be, and were professional throughout the process.

If you want a fantastic solar system design and installation experience, look no further. The concern and second-guessing associated with designing and installing your solar system will be rendered obsolete by this company.

In a previous residence, another business had installed solar panels for me. I was tempted to stick with the previous company because I had a positive experience with them, but I'm pleased I chose Blaze Energy instead.

I requested that technicians from three different businesses, including Blaze Energy, visit our new home and develop alternate design ideas. I got several inquiries and wanted to be especially cautious about who to hire for the new system because I had previously owned one. The greatest option was by far Blaze Energy. They went to great lengths to assure accurate measurements and ask the necessary questions. From the proposal stage to the installation stage, they’ve shown a high level of professionalism and knowledge. I interacted with four different Blaze Energy employees, and each of them treated me with courtesy, respect, and patience as I asked a lot of questions. In the end, I had a strong sense of assurance that everyone was competent and that I was in good care. We chose to utilize darker blue panels for our system, and they look wonderful and were installed properly and cleanly.

In the end, I felt good doing business with Blaze Energy since they valued me as a client and showed it in all of our interactions. If you're serious about solar, do yourself a favor and request a quote from them. Hear it from a genuinely happy client!

I had SCP install solar on my house. They handled A-Z for me. From the quoting, installing and rebate options. Great group to work with

Harmon Solar was contracted to install my solar system but when they sent me a lease agreement with an install date that was way out of scope, I kicked back the agreement. Dan Reese then forged my signature thinking I would never know. APS sent me all the documents that were uploaded by Harmon Solar it was then that I seen the forged signature.
When I called Harmon Solar and tried to reach someone regarding this issue I was put on hold for 43min and then hung up on. I tried to reach them the next day and was told my project was put on hold due to the lease agreement not being sign. I told Harmon Solar this was impossible due to fact that they signed it and if in fact there was a lease agreement that needed to be signed that sense they forged my signature the first time that they should be really good at it by now and just go ahead and forge the second lease agreement.
Who would ever want to do business with a company like this?
