Best Solar Home in Phoenix AZ

My panels were installed back in 2009 by a different installer than Pep, the panels were from an internationally known maker.
They stopped working a few years ago so I was recommended a solar expert to investigate & we contacted the maker.
The original installer had gone out of business.
We were asked countless times for different info & tons of photo's from the maker. Mr EXPERT was up there for many hours & many trips.
It cost me quite a bit of $$$ & finally Mr.Expert said you are wasting your money & I'm wasting my time. It is obvious the manufacturer is not willing to be professional to help despite the fact you are under warranty, they are giving you the run around

Fast forward to last week, I was referred to Sean & Bonnie Katz who I had met unfortunately after my system had been purchased .
They were recommended to come & investigate the issue which is a service they now offer given the amount of people like my self who are left high & dry as shady & fly by nighter's went out of business.

Initially I was not to pleased with the charge to come take a look given I had almost spent $1,000.00 on Mr. Expert (NOT their fault).

2 Tech's arrived, were up on the roof for about 40 mins & came back down to report & show me photo's of the wires a rat had gobbled on putting out the whole system. Within a short time they had the system fully functional again.

Needless to say I was more than happy with the charge given that I was told by Mr.Expert I needed a new system.

There is a saying that when you buy cheap you cry every day, when you buy quality you only cry once.

I didn't cry at all using the team at Pep Solar.

They have been in service since the eighties, 100% recommendation from me.

Love this company! Greg is very informative (he knows his stuff) and helped us understand the number of panels we needed for our home. From start to finish every team member was professional, friendly, listened to our concerns or questions and the entire process of placing Solar on our home went as expected. Highly recommend!!!

This is a company that takes service to a higher level than 90% of companies. Everyone from the sales, technical, installation teams did an amazing job of explaining everything during the process. I could not say enough good things about them as I now only have a $25 per month electric bill whereas it used to be $350-$400+ per month. They saved me money and helped increase the value of my house. The followup also is amazing.

Really poor installation and roof damage, customer service is terrible, Chris is the name of the lazy representative who we had to call every time for an update on our case because he would never call us back, if you’re looking to install solar panels just look somewhere else, I wish I could give them zero stars

The five star is for Alan (Universal solar direct representative). Alan was very friendly, patient and respectful. He took his time to explain all details including how tax credit works for us. Thank you very much, Alan.

Working with Solar Sandy has been a great experience from the one on one consult with Sandy herself to her friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff! Sandy created a solar plan to zero out my power bill. I have only had my panels on for one month and just received a zero bill from APS! I highly recommend Solar Sandy, she does what she says! Thanks Solar Sandy!!

Update:
After completing first year still very happy with Aneva solar.System is functioning well and production of Kilowatt energy was exactly amount they predicted. Follow up on my questions during the year was done quickly. Post instillation service is excellent, they didn't forget me after the sale. Hard to find a business like this these days.

Aneva Solar provided clear understandable explanation of solar energy and their products. I received a detailed estimate that was accurate and easy to understand. They use the highest quality products (from my research). Job was completed on time and after using the system for few months it is flawless. One thing that impressed me was Aneva's well trreated employees who were professional and well trained, This may seem silly but I noticed their trucks were very clean, it tells you a lot about a company who has pride in their own equipment and treats employees well. Simply the best.

We had the good fortune to have her sent out on our first call to Watt Masters to install outdoor fans on our patio. She was prompt, courteous, and professional. Sunup America has been doing an outstanding job from the very beginning with Alessandra Satta coming to my home to sell us the system. Had the best time having him in my home explaining the benefits of having Solor installed. Next would definitely be JC installing my new electric panel. Super friendly and explained the difference from my old panel to the new one. Looks so nice! Plus all the men that came over to install the panels the same day. Those installers mean business! Also I Want to thank Kelli McDanial for keeping me in the loop every step of the way and huge shout out to Eddie Rodriguez for taking the time to make sure I completely understood the ends and out of my new System. Seriously if you’re in the market for solar this is the company you wanna go with! They will treat you like family.

Great services amazing work

Sunlight Energy Systems, Inc. are the best! I had odd electrical short outs in my house and they found and fixed them all!!! They are very safety conscious with their work. They spent hours at my house and I was concerned about how expensive the work was going to be. What they charged was WAY BELOW what I expected!! They are very good at what they do and affordable! I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needing electrical work!!!

It's not a good start to a decades-long relationship. The installers didn't provide the correct documentation so SRP wouldn't approve the interconnection. Then my contacts at SunRun (Ian and Rhett) stopped answering my texts. Customer service was hit and miss (the live chat was terminated by the agent (Lari and Angelica Mae--two names given inexplicably) before she gave me an answer; when I called, the customer service rep couldn't tell me anything about my system and didn't have the phone number of the new person on my account--first I had heard that there was a new person).

I will update if SunRun actually gets back to me and resolves this.

Update (3/27/2023): So after several attempts, I have been in contact with SunRun, but when one thing gets resolved, another pops up. My system is now working correctly (after some confusion between SunRun and SRP (my utility) about whether the meter had been installed), but the app data is disappointing for two reasons:
1. The power data are incorrect, showing a peak of 0.8 kW when my system is much larger.
2. The power data are delayed by 24-36 h, which makes it impossible for me to optimize my power consumption to match the system production.

I am waiting to be contacted about these two new issues.

Vanilla Virtual gift card ,which after one use was put on hold. I called again n they told me 2 sign up for solar panels installation r they won't lift hold. Pressure sales practices.
