I’ve had a few companies come out and and give me quotes and I never felt good about their offers. They didn’t make sense. I spoke to my neighbors that had solar and they were upset because of the service after the sale. I had Sandy come over and she was very polite and professional. She explained the whole process and the numbers made sense. She’ll treat you like family and help you make the best choice for you. I’ve had Solar Sandy for just over a year and their service is still amazing. They always provide great service and get back to me fast when I have questions. Amazing company!

My experience with Solar Sandy was great! We decided we wanted solar but were not sure which company to go with....so many out there that come and go. When Solar Sandy personally came to my house, I trusted her right away. She took time to explain the process and offered to pay for our first two years of our solar loan. We also decided to replace our roof at the same time and were able to roll it into a very low interest loan. Additionally, we received over $25K in tax rebates that we used to remodel our backyard. Best of all, our APS bill has dropped to almost nothing (even when we had our Christmas lights on overnight during December and January). We are so happy that we went with Solar Sandy!

UPDATE: Sandy instructed me, that In order for her to fulfill her contractual promise to pay my solar payments, I would have to give her a review on Google and the Better Business Bureau.
Its now been over 4 weeks and we have not received the payment. I have left her several voice mails and texts inquiring about the status of my solar payments, to which she has not responded.

This was not our first rodeo in terms of going solar. Having purchased a solar system for our previous home, we knew what questions to ask and we could see right through the hyperbole that many solar companies use to lure you in to sign with them. In fact, we had a few companies out a couple years ago, but decided to wait because we just weren’t comfortable with what we saw.

This time around we called Solar Sandy. Right from the first call we knew this time was going to be different. Sandy showed up for our in-home consultation and laid out the entire plan so we knew exactly the number of panels we needed and exactly what it was going to cost. Sandy’s process is genius, instead of paying the power company obscene amounts of money every summer we now have a steady monthly payment for our panels and don’t have to worry if the power company decides to jack up their rates because most months, we don’t owe them a dime.

I’ve worked in the trades for nearly 30 years. I guess you could say I’m hypersensitive to poor workmanship. Sandy’s install team is top notch. They showed up on time and performed a clean and professional install of our system in less than a day. Sandy’s staff walked us through every step of the process so we knew exactly what to do when. Even when I had the most mundane of questions, Tiana and Avalon took my call and calmed my nerves making the process worry free.

I wish I had a better review to leave. At this time, our appointment for just a consultation has been rescheduled 8 times. The First time was lost to a new system upgrade and delayed by almost a month. Daily, it seems, we would receive an update to we need to push you to a later time in the day to be completely moved to another day all together. My husband and I are full time workers and doing our best to be flexible to Sandy's needs. we were even lucky enough to get a direct message from Sandy herself excusing herself for double booking--again. Don't waste a minute of your time being pulled along by this unprofessional company. They are highly unorganized, un-personable and your time and energy isn't worth anything to them.

I appreciate Sandy's vast knowledge of solar. She made the process easy to understand and answered all of our questions. Additionally, because it is her company, she has a vested interest in how the process goes. Unlike other companies, Sandy is still available after the install too.

We decided to add solar this year to get ahead of the projected energy rate increase. Our panels were installed quickly, however we did have a bump in the road when our inverter stopped working. We are all good now and are looking forward to a zero or as close to zero SRP bill, while running our A/C at a comfortable temperature.

I liked solar Sandy herself she's so nice and friendly. Except now that the system is installed they won't come look at it to set if it is running properly. My aps payment went up every month now because they have you switch to a different plan plus the panel payments, I'm paying double or triple what i was before (depending on which month). So a near zero bill that i was promised was not achieved.

Sandy took the whole thing on and found a Solar Loan that would allow us to not only fight back on the cost of power but also get our roof repaired. Her team even coordinated and walked us through the whole process from proposal through final installation and turning the system on.

And now… We have a beautiful green arc of color on our mobile and web applications that monitor our power… and a blank spot in the day of our usage from APS. We look forward to stacking up bills of $0 as our days move into the new future.

We recently purchased a solar panel system from Solar Sandy (asksolarsandy.com).

We checked with several other Solar panel companies for quotes. Upon hearing Solar Sandy’s add, on 550 KFYI AM radio, we called for an appointment.

Solar Sandy’s online information assessment/spreadsheet was excellent, both comprehensive and complete.

Amy came and reviewed a proposal generated by the assessment. She did excellent job, outlining the benefits and the details of the system. Sandy, also, was available and answered our more detailed questions.

Recently, Solar Sandy’s contractor, Solean Energy, came to install the solar panel system, including software. It correlates with our Salt River Project (SRP) control meters. Teddy, and three men on his crew, completed the installation in one day. They were very competent, hard working, and positive individuals.
We are extremely pleased with their work.

We are awaiting inspection and connection of our new system with SRP and are excited to use the phone app, that gives us system data detailing our savings and the significant cost reduction of electricity from the SRP electrical bill.

We recently received email from our utility providers asking to conserve our gas, water, and electric usage. We expect utility rates to rise in the future. This Company has excellent service they really care about their customers. From the design up to the installation. Sandy has been very professional and knowledgeable. They will even monitor your electric bill to check if you are getting the most out of your Solar Panels and make adjustments if necessary .

I had heard Solar Sandy on the radio for a while and it made sense to investigate and see if it was worth a try. I mean, Solar in Arizona, with all of our sunshine, what could it hurt to see. I sent in my info and then she got the ball rolling. Financing wasn't an issue and the solar rebates were very nice. I checked out the solar installer on the Better Business Bureau and they were O.K. Checked them out on the web and they were rated number 3 in all of Arizona. They were very professional and made it so easy. No more APS bills. Very happy indeed.

We were against going solar, but Sandy showed us in simple terms how to do it right. We dont have both electric and solar Bill's, our rates are not going to increase. You could not ask for a better person than Sandy to guide you through your solar needs. From the initial contact to the helpful emails to assist you with getting the most out of your system is above and beyond what you would get from another company.The gourmet coffee basket at Christmas was a unexpected and special gift that we appreciated more than words can express.

We had an initial consult with sandy in late May. Our questions were answered and we decided to move forward. The installer is Elevation Solar. They are skilled and knowledgeable about the process. They are also growing rapidly. This led to several miscommunications. Thankfully Sandy has close contact with them and was able to quickly resolve the issues. It was very helpful to have someone outside stay on top of them. The system was activated in mid - August. Not bad, considering all the permits and inspections that need to get done.

Superficial questions were welcome, but No answers to detailed questions
Her estimate is double of others; and the difference just happened to be what our government rebate was

She had a formula that did not make sense and became irritated when we faced her with errors on her part
She also made claims , that upon investigation, were totally untrue
We went with another very well-respected company , paid half of what Sandy wanted us to pay her, and got to keep our rebate

Solar Sandy and her team have been professional and personable during this entire long process making sure that we received the correct information and panels for optimal success for going solar.
I would recommend Ask Solar Sandy and her team to anyone. Sandy keeps in touch and stays with you all the way from start to completion and periodic updates to make sure we are getting the biggest bang for our buck.

I had never been able to commit to solar in the past because it was too complicated - and I'm a tax accountant who generally thrives on complicated things. Solar Sandy made the process understandable from the very beginning and cut through all of the red tape, getting us up and running in less than two months. Best of all, we hardly had to do anything except sign paperwork. Solar Sandy coordinated the timing of construction, inspections, etc. with the panel provider/installer and with SRP. Now my house is very comfortable 24 x 7, and, I have fixed my costs for power into the indefinite future, no matter how many times SRP may raise utility rates. This reduces anxiety about the future, so I'm a happy camper.

I spoke with Sandy and the call went with as she answered my questions. I gave her all the information she wanted and asked for the report she said she create. I asked for it to be emailed to me to review, however, before giving me the report she wanted to meet with me to go over it. After my insistence to email before meeting with her, she agreed to send it to me to review before our meeting. We scheduled the day and time to meet at an agreed upon Panera Bread two days after our phone call. I rearranged my schedule to make the time for her. My wife and I showed up on the day and time agreed upon. However, Sandy, did not, nor did I receive the report she commited to sending me. Upon speaking with her assistant in her office it was told to me that our meeting was not on her calendar and that she does not email reports prior to meeting. I was met with resistance upon stating that Sandy agreed to email it to me to reveiw prior to meeting in person. It is now another day and have heard nothing from Sandy or her office and realize now that she does now seem to have the integrity of the person that I want to do business with and would caution anyone who hears her on the radio to be aware that she may be a no show if you meet her any place other than your home. She prefers to meet at your home and does not want to give you the report she talks about until she meets with you. I suggest if you do try to do business with her that you get the report prior to meeting her so you can review it and form questions to ask her if and when you meet her. She like to say that she is only educating others, however, you may find, as I have that her approach is only the way to get in the door of your house. Although she comes across very believeable, her integrity is questionable. I would not waste your time with her.

If you're going to consult anyone make sure its sandy! Shes absolutely the best she wont make you feel uncomfortable or pressed at all and I'm very lucky that I got the chance to speak with her! #positivepeople #thankyou!
