I thought I’d try Hobaica because I needed work done quickly. Neighbors had said that they are not the cheapest, but they’re honest and reputable. I had a technician out to connect a gas dryer. He quoted me $260 but told me I should call Southwest gas first because there was a problem with the valve on the main, outdoor meter. When the Southwest Gas technician came, she said she didn’t know what he was talking about, that there was no need for him to be dealing my meter anyway, and she connected my gas dryer for free. Her jaw dropped when I told her how much the Hobaica tech had quoted me. So maybe other folks I’ve had good experiences but this was mine.

Jimmy and his team at Arcadia Air are amazing! Our ac went out on a Sunday and with a heat wave coming that week I was concerned about my family and our pets in a hot house. I called Jimmy and he was able to get someone out right away and had our ac replaced and blowing colder than ever within a few hours. I’ve obviously heard a lot about this company through the radio. When I had an electrical issue that I could not figure out, I gave them a call. They came a few days later, at the scheduled time. Instead of figuring out my issue first they went right into quoting some other things that I had mentioned I wanted a quote on, rather than to figure out my initial issue and then go in with the quotes. Now I realize that this is completely my fault but my “issue” turned out to be a GFCI outlet that was behind a freezer that I had failed to locate. But the part that’s hard for me is that the electrician STILL charged me 426 dollars even though that was the “issue”. That’s the last time I’ll be calling this company.

B3 refrigeration was the only HVAC who was willing to come over in order to install a solid state contactor that I bought as our old one was making a lot of noise when engaging.

Other companies didn't know about that or weren't familiar with it and plainely refused to do it or wanted to install a old style.

B3 sent Tim over and even though he never installed one before he was smart enough to figure it out and installed it in no time while explaining what he was doing.

I'm a DIY person and I was thrilled on how he explained things and we had a good talk while he installed the contactor.

Summer is almost over now and the new contactor acted like a champ.

We had an under-foundation leak and needed someone ASAP. Scott was able to get out quickly, assess the situation, and recommend what needed to be done. As it turned out nothing was wrong but David went above and beyond to make sure. I thought my thermostat was malfunctioning.

These guys are the best! Our a/c went out on a weekend and they showed up within a few hours to diagnose the problem. Thankfully it was still under warranty.

Unfortunately the manufacturer gave us the run around on replacement parts (apparently they no longer support our unit, even though it’s only 3 years old). Meanwhile our house was 118 degrees inside!!!

Rather than continue to wait on the manufacturer Junior and Jerry found a complete unit and swapped mine out.

I am grateful to know their are good people still in the world! Thank you for getting us back into our home!
