Metro Rooter came to help me with a really tough clog that I couldnt clear myself. The plumber came out on time when they said they would, had a really hard time. They are price gouging. Charging up to $450 an hour to replace a tankless hot water heater. Coming to the neighborhood on Sunday so they can charge more. Going door to door to get business

Had a broken water line from the street. Called one plumber and they quoted me a price of $6000-10,000. Ouch! I hired an unskilled laborer to dig up the pipe and find the leak, then called F&B to repair the pipe. I called them at 8 a.m., and by 10:30 the repair had been done for $175. This is the way plumbing repairs ought to go--fast and affordable.

Our AC unit decided to blow warm air in the first week of July here in North Central Texas. After cleaning the coils myself, and changing the filter, I experienced a small improvement only. I deduced the refrigerant was low, so I called Metro Energy Savers. They demonstrated very prompt, reasonably priced service (On a Saturday, July 4th Weekend.) The Technician, Justin was professionally courteous, breaking down the price estimate of the AC project before servicing the unit. Because of this, I'm leaning strongly toward becoming a repeat customer in the future for all my AC/Heating needs.

I had Michael as my Technician today. I have to admit in the past I wasted money on Ben Franklin (who by the way put my my hot water handles on backwards). I built my own house, I hired all the contractors, bought all the materials, etc. I tried to hire local companies, but most weren't reliable. It took me 3 framers to finish the framing, and 2 drywall companies.

But D.Crowder was the exception for me. He and our welders Dark Horse of Granbury. D.Crowder was prompt, polite, worked hard even in 20 degree weather and late into the night. Even when the contractors digging the ditches for the foundation cut the tape holding my pipes in place, he dealt with it. When I had to add or change things, he just agreed, gave his opinion and we got on with it. I will only call D.Crowder from now on.

We had a pipe in our yard burst and Joe Azcona came out to fix it. He was very upfront about the price and any circumstances that might change the quote. We were very fortunate and he didn't run into any issues while fixing it. He also said we could probably wait a while for a complete replacement, so that gave us a smile on a hard day.
