Had a small drip from shower head and called for a appointment for a estimate. Technician came on time and told me the part i needed had a life time warranty from manufacturer and to call them for the free replacement part to save money and call them back when it arrives. David is always to my rescue, I live in an older home in North Arlington with old cast iron pipes that have channel rot. I haven’t been able to get to a point where I can replace the plumbing yet. I was having constant issues, he came in and took a look around and told me to switch out my toilets. I went from having problems once every 3 months to once a year! He just installed a clean out so we don’t have to keep pulling toilets to snake the drains….. they did an amazing job! Doesn’t even look like they had to dig out the front of the house to install it! I always admire his sense of humor when I’m usually not happy I have to call him AGAIN!

I had always used Cobb Plumbing and had been very satisfied. Unfortunately Mr. Cobb has passed away. Direct Source is now my first call for my plumbing needs.

Tyler came out today to clear out stoppage that was happening in our showers. Turns out, stoppage was actually outside of the home and could have turned out not so good if we had let it continue. He saved us from multiple other issues that would have arise from the situation. He was professional, gave great details of situation and very friendly to deal with. Direct Source Plumbing has come to our house twice. A few years ago David was here for a small job, and then yesterday Mike and Devin replaced both of our hot water heaters. Mike and Devin arrived on time and completed the job in the time that they had quoted. They were courteous and did everything possible to minimize the potential mess of replacing two hot water heaters in an attic. The job was well done, and the price was competitive. As a side note, our son who attends UT Arlington locked himself out of his car at school during the plumbing repair. Our baby was sick so I asked Devin if he could possibly take my son a spare key to the Direct Source office, and I would ask my son to find a friend to drive him to Direct Source to get the key. Devin took the key and delivered it to my son on campus. We were so grateful for his help! Direct Source will be the only call we make for any future plumbing needs.

I give him 4 stars because he was a bit pricey for 55 minutes work. But he did show up on time and did stop my leak in my Quest water service line so far, but would only give me a 30 days guarantee. He did give great service and very professional in his work. You get what you paid for.

I scheduled an appointment for today, July 8, 2016 to have Direct Source come out to assess my problem downstairs bathroom and outside overfill pipe.

For years the toilet would overflow and I would need to get a plumber to unclog the pipe. They came and went , usually staying just long enough to clear the clog and leave.
Today , Chad, from Direct Source , arrived ...an hour early!

He actually scoped the pipe. He said the pipe looks fine...it just needs a thorough cleaning ...no other plumber,ever, said that to me .

Chad spent a solid 20 minutes or so cleaning out the roots that were always neglected by other plumbers. He said just do this once a year and you will be fine. The previous plumbers stayed just long enough to unclog the drain and tell me things like this just happen.

Before he left he also put on a special shower head for me and fixed a sink stopper that I was having trouble with...

Direct Source Pumbing is 5 star all the way! I will not consider another plumber after this experience.

I called Direct Source Plumbing shortly after they opened in the morning because my toilets were backed up. They said they'd be out between 11 am - 1 pm, which I was surprised to hear. Wes showed up just after 11 am. He took care of the issue and told me what the cause was. I asked him for his opinion on what I should do about the issue since it'll likely happen again and he gave me honest feedback which I greatly appreciated. One feels a bit apprehensive when dealing in an area they don't know much about but Wes did a good job of explaining the issue.

No one ever wants to have to call a plumber but I feel good knowing that I have found my plumbing company. The price I paid was exactly what they quoted. They got there fast and did their job quickly. I am a very satisfied customer. I recommend them to anyone that needs this service. 5 stars!!!

Direct Source has all around fantastic customer service. From the moment they answered I knew I would be well taken care of! I told her I had a leak and she had Wes over here within a few hours for a FREE estimate. Everyone else quoted me several DAYS out but Direct Source made our leak a priority!

I had a slab leak and called on Saturday morning to schedule an estimate for Monday. Wes was in the area and came by Saturday and gave an estimate within an hour of me calling in. He re-piped the lines through the ceiling instead of having to destroy the slab. He even stayed late to complete the job. Everything was done in a timely manner and very professionally. I would highly recommend them and will use for any future plumbing problems.

This other company company told us it was going to be a $2400 job and they were going to bust concrete and tons of other things, not to mention walls have all ready been knocked out. I had first called 2 other plumbers for a whole house stoppage to come diagnose the problem. The first was at night, charged me an emergency service call fee, arrived and took a quick look at it and then quoted me an extra large amount for the next step to fully diagnose the issue. I decided to get a second opinion and called a another company who then came out the following morning, took my service call payment first, tried to diagnose the clog, then said they couldn’t tell what it was but would required a massive excavation in the front yard at an excessive amount of money to further diagnose. I couldn’t get a straight answer on some of my questions and just had a feeling something wasn’t right. After they left, and quite frustrated because I felt I was getting nowhere fast, I then called Direct Source Plumbing and spoke with Amie who was very helpful in taking my call, took detailed notes, and with a sense of urgency, relayed my message to the plumber. In a short time, I received a call from Tyler who gave me an good idea of what needed to be done to diagnose the issue. When he arrived he was extremely polite and knowledgeable about the situation, and took the time to explain to me what he was doing, so that I fully understood each step, and ultimately ended up diagnosing and fixing the problem. He even called and had the master plumber, David, confirm and verify his diagnosis. This is how I wish all service calls could be! Tyler is the perfect example of how the ideal repairmen should be. I believe this company and religious-based group is in business for the right reasons, to truly help people when they need it. I can’t possibly recommend them enough! True professionals! City confirmed a leak on my side of the water main. I had a great experience with Direct Source Plumbing when I had a water heater replaced last year, so I called them again. I called just before 5 p.m. and a courteous person answered the phone. I was able to get scheduled immediately the next day. Tyler arrived ready to work. It took some digging to isolate the leak due to the highly saturated dirt and clay, but he found it in about 30 minutes. After getting the proper parts, he not only solved the water leak but explained every aspect of what he was doing. I am spoiled by the kind of service I receive from this company. I will continue to use and recommend Direct Source Plumbing.

The plumber came in a timely manner. Did a complete inspections of my property, pinpointed the problem. Gave me three options for resolution. Completely ruled out a costly job that another plumber had quoted that would have not fixed my problem. Although the job that needs to be done is essentially the same price, I'm confident that the correct issue will be fixed.

Had my kitchen sink clogged up and not draining I called directed source plumbing to fix the situation the receptionist Amie was able to get me an appointment next morning. Tyler was the plumber who arrived to fix my clog. He cabled the kitchen sink pipes all the way to the outside pipes. Very informative with exactly what he was doing. He also went beyond and wet vac under my sink. I definitely recommend this company.

He immediately accessed the situation and went ahead and told us the estimate becore any work began. There is not a service charge for them to come out. The price they estimated was reasonable. They also have a 30day warranty that comes with everything.. its included. And wes told us what the problem was and if this was a temporary fix as well what we could do in the long run and how much it would cost. I highly recommend these guys.. they are very trustworthy.

Direct Source plumbing repaired a leak under my house last Friday. The care of getting the job done correctly had me setting up an appointment for another plumbing problem. They did every thing I had asked for and even checked their Friday job. I have found a plumbing company to use again and again.

David is an absolute rockstar! Thankfully, I have found a trustworthy plumber after moving to a new city and state. A plumber isn't always someone you want to see, but when you do, David is the kind of guy you want to show up. He came in, gave a reasonable estimate, and was able to get to work on my project right away. In my case, he was able to move a couple of toilet valve stops that were originally installed directly behind the toilet, to make room for the new modern, longer toilets. He did great work! I will not hesitate to call him again in the future. Hopefully, he won't be too busy with all these great reviews ;)

I've used these guys 3 different times and have found them to be extremely professional reliable. I have worked with dishonorable plumbers in the past and these guys are not that. Tyler has been here 2 time and I found him to be extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind. The 1st time he was here was to fix my daughter's bathtub faucet. As a father himself, he asked if i would like him to adjust the water temperature governor on that faucet so that the temperature would not reach a level to burn my children in case they were messing around with the handle. I appreciated the consideration. Also, Amie who is the receptionist has always been very polite and on top of things.

We called Direct Source after another local plumbing concern sent out what turned out to be a salesman in response to our request to auger a stopped up drain. The salesman spent some time surveying our situation and, it seemed, surveying my wife and me to see how much they could milk us for. They wanted almost $800 to get an actual plumber/tech to come behind the salesman and do the job.

Direct Source sent a real plumber, Wes Hart, who showed up at our door promptly. He discussed some potential solutions if our problem persists, but did a basic clean out for $160 that seemed to make the most sense as what ought to try before turning to more drastic options.

Awesome experience with this company. Great service and extemely nice and professional techs.

Wes the technician called me to let me know he was on his way; very polite and professional. He was able to get the corroded bolt off my water heater and replace it and the hose with a new one. It was working in no time! Such a relief to have it fixed without having to replace the whole thing. Definitely recommend this company.

David gave us a less invasive option to fix it after another company wanted to unnecessarily dig under the house. Happy with the results and the price was right. No estimate. Labor less that 1 1/2 hours. $375.00. Had used them before with good results. $100.00 just to replace two shower nozzles with ones that I supplied. GET an estimate!

We needed a drain cleaned on a Friday night around 7:30. The hours here are until 11pm so there was no after hours charge. From the time we called until the time Wes drove away was less than an hour. He was a very polite and professional young man and an asset to this company. I would recommend giving them a call with your plumbing needs. We just happen upon them by searching the internet...no more searching for us. We now know who to call!

We had a kitchen sink that was not draining. I called Direct Source Plumbing and Wes arrived on-time wearing a clean uniform. Wes had a friendly and professional attitude explaining everything that needed to be done and the price associated with the work. Wes completed the work and the sink now works perfectly. I will definitely be using them again for future plumbing services.

I called about having a drain line snaked (I generally have to have it done annually when, like clockwork, the kitchen sink starts backing up). Wes arrived at the scheduled time and gave me free estimates for snaking or hydro-jetting, both at very reasonable prices compared to other quotes I had received in the past. I opted for hydro-jetting to try to fix this recurring problem. Seeing at least 30 years worth of huge, nasty pieces of caked-on grease come out of my line, I've gotta believe that my kitchen drain line will remain clog-free for a lot longer than it has the past. Wes also provided monthly maintenance recommendations to help reduce future grease build-up in the drain line without trying to sell me expensive chemicals available only through licensed plumbers. I will never have plumbing work done again without first calling Direct Source Plumbing.

I have used Direct Source twice now. The first time I broke the supply faucet to our water heater at 11PM. I called DS and left a voicemail. David called me back at 8AM and was at the house by 10AM. He fixed my screwup in no time with an upgraded valve without damaging our dilapidated water heater (a miracle in itself!)

The last time I used DS, I was replacing my toilet only to find that the builder of my house didn't put the drain in the right location. Instead of a 12 rough-in, I had a 7.5 rough-in. My old toilet wasn't even sitting over the off-set flange! I knew immediately that this job was going beyond my abilities. I called DS, David had a team to the house in a couple of hours. We talked about price for a few minutes then I had them start.

The team excavated, repositioned the drain, and had cement poured and levelled in a couple of hours. Now I can mount a normal toilet securely!

The ONLY bad thing I have to say about DS is that the kid (who was obviously in training) with the team on the second visit tracked some dirt into the house. Not a big deal, and it didn't stain. I was too excited about the great price and speed which they completed my heavy-duty plumbing job to fuss about a little dirt.

Acknowledge God in all your ways and He will direct your path. After being taken advantage of by a faulty contractor and his boot leg plumber, our home was in a mess. It was a plumbing issue (slab leak) and some other things that the contractor said would cost $$$$ - Prayer still works! We went to God in prayer after firing the contractor, and God lead us to Direct Source Plumbing. From the first call, to the completion of the job in one word........these guys were PHENOMENAL! They found things that were out of place, and things that did not need to be done in the first place. We were told by the contractor that he had to place a line over the house through the attic to re-pressurize our master bathroom because of the leak......(smh) this was false information. When Wes from Direct Source Plumbing came out, he immediately went to the solution. Wes checked the volume from outside, he turned the volume/pressure back on from where the contractor's plumber had turned the pressure almost completely off. Our pressure was restored just that quick, and no need for overhead lines. To make a long story short, this is just some of the amazing things this company did to get us back up and running like new, and the $$$$ the contractor thought he would get, God gave us favor. Direct Source Plumbing could have charged us an arm & leg for the work they did but because of their integrity, they were HONEST. We were relieved that our bill was affordable and no where near the price quoted by the contractor's plumber. They even blessed us with a military discount. Direct Source Plumbing came in and had to undo what the contractors plumber did - and then fixed the leak all in a couple of hours to meet city expectations. We are humbly grateful that Direct Source Plumbing was very affordable, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. I thought I would never say this, but I love my Plummer. Unfortunately, I've had to have them come to the house numerous times ( not anything to do with their lack of skill) even on a Sunday. They are always prompt, courteous, efficient and reasonable. They stand by their warranties and always call ahead before arriving. I highly recommend them, and I have used them for both large and small plumbing jobs.

Direct Source installed a Hot Water heater in my residence and did an excellent job. I checked with Lowe's first and they came out and charged me 35.00 for an estimate and said the new water heater had to have a shut off switch installed and that it had to be raised off the floor and that they had to pull code from the city. All of which Wes Hart, my installer, told me was not necessary. Lowe's wanted 1702.00 and Direct Source did it for 1480.00 which is still kind pricey, but the job is done right. And compared to all the other Plumbing companies around, Direct Source is the most reasonable. My only regret was I didn't call them first and I lost 35.00 bucks to Lowe's! I recommend Direct Source. Wes did an excellent job!

Clogged kitchen sink with a family of 6 doesn't work very well. I called DS on Thursday morning around 7:30am and they said they'd be out between 9:30-10:30. I got a call around 9 asking if they could come in the next 15 minutes. Even better! Wes showed up at my door with a business card to show who he was (great for a woman at home with children). He cleared the clog in my sink and was patient with the little ones keeping watch and asking questions. (Prevention tip: egg shells and garbage disposals don't mix...who knew?) Another plus...he cleaned up after himself and even cleaned up the mess that the sink had made before he got here. Really pleased with the service. Will definitely use again.

We had a leaky outside faucet. The tech was scheduled to show up between 5 and 7 PM. Travis called shortly after 5 and said he would be here at 6 pm. He nailed it pretty good. He said he could replace the washers but that would be a temporary fix and he suggested replacing the whole thing. I had researched the problem online and the consensus said to replace the whole faucet so that was our plan all along. He had a new frost free faucet on his van and got it installed quickly despite the original having not been the best install(it was recessed in the brick and the mounting ears had to be cut off before he could spin the faucet off). Very nice work and Travis was a pleasure to talk too. Will use them again

Called Direct Source Plumbing to trouble shoot a drainage issue between my kitchen, laundry, and garage utility sink. Mike explained to me, down to the T, the causes of such poor drainage issues and what was going to be done to fix it. He also took the time to educate me on how to minimize these problems in the future. I feel the fees charged were fair and competitive based on the work done.

I can't speak more highly of the services that David provided me! He even beat a previous estimate by a dishonest contractor by over $1100. Upon conducting his excavation and through his expertise he was able to determine that there actually was no plumbing leak but a sprinkler system malfunction. INSTEAD of charging me the full price for a job that didn't need to be done, he negotiated the price of the excavator down to a few hundred dollars for 7 feet of digging. HE DIDN'T EVEN CHARGE ME A FEE FOR PLUMBING. This is integrity 👏 that you don't see much in this profession anymore. I've had David out since and recieved the same level of care and professionalism. My first experience with Direct Source plumbing was great. Wes Hart was very trustworthy and professional. I originally thought I had two issues, an outside leak just past the meter and a possible inside leak under the slab. I was expecting the worst! Wes took time to thoroughly assess the issues and explain the potential repair scenarios. He worked quickly to repair the outside issue. He then diagnosed that I didn't have a slab leak after all. I've had other plumbers who would have taken advantage of the situation and misled me into paying for repairs that I didn't need. I appreciate the integrity and honesty of Wes and Direct Plumbing!

wes found my problem in short order. they fixed my sewer pipe under the slab in one day. they ran into what I would call a major snag, and still finished that day and stuck to the original estimate. first rate service. first rate plumbers, very professional. I wouldn't call anyone else.

We have used this plumber a few times. They are always on time and do a great job. David will be honest and do what is best for the customer. I'm sorry to say my experience was negative. I called because we had just moved into a new home. My husband used the 2nd shower and the water would not turn off. I called Direct Source and they did thankfully send Wes to fix it and he did get the water off and fixed the shower. We paid that bill immediately. The next morning the shower would not turn off of scalding hot so it was still not usable. Wes came back out and told my husband what parts he needed to fix the issue. My husband went and bought the parts, but that did not work. During this process I realized we have American Home Shield to fix thest type of issues. I called them and they came and fixed it and it works! I called the owner and politely requested a 50%-80% refund as the plumber did get the water off which I appreciated, but did not fix the problem. My husband had to take off work twice and we paid two invoices! We were charged for the second time the guy came out as well as the first! The owner said I'm not gonna do that ma'am. I could see this was going a bad direction as he was accusing me of trying to cover my costs etc ...I don't like to argue so I said that's fine. Just do what you think is fair. If you think that's fair that's fine. I'm not going to argue. So no refund was given and as a result this negative review had to be written.

I have used their services twice now. The first time I got a quote from a different company for a repair job That was going to cost $2400. Wes came and told me what the real problem was and it was fixed for under $200.

We use Direct Source for any and all our plumbing needs and have always been satisfied with their quality of service, expertise, professionalism and pricing. On one occasion, we had them out to look at the water heater and it was a simple fix. The technician actually listened to me as I mentioned another unrelated item and noticed a faint dripping noise from our kitchen that was a part of that issue. Instead of insisting that we had a foundation leak and wanting to tear my floor up, he gave me the signs to look for so that I would be able to tell if, in fact, it was a true leak. Several months later, I saw the signs and called him back. He was able to pinpoint the location, and have it repaired, with my floor back in tact, all within a half a day! I contacted Direct Source Plumbing this morning desperately needing to have a master bath vanity unclogged. They were able to accommodate my schedule with an afternoon appointment. David contacted me to ask if I was available for him to come to my home at my scheduled appointment time. I would give Direct Source Plumbing more than 5 stars if possible. My toilet and flange needed to be replaced. I got two estimates, and Direct Source was the better of the two, without using a jackhammer into my floor, as was prescribed by the other company. The job was done in 3 hours by Direct Source, rather than a full day, and I did not need to replace my floor or use a jackhammer. Wes was the repair man that came to our house. He was right on time, professional, respectful and prepared for the job. He communicated at all points during the process and responded to all questions clearly, without trying to confuse issues or add costs. He left the area clean and tidy. As an owner of an older home, I have plenty of experience with all kinds of repair companies and their agents. I know it is always a good idea to get two bids on any job, and this job illustrated exactly why it is so. I recommend Direct Source Plumbing without reservation.

The technician Tyler was very professional & on time. Received a call when he was on the way. He was able to clean out our clogged drain. Update: No 24hr emergency service. They replaced a cracked pipe (on a Friday around 6pm), 23 hours later that pipe cracked, but it was just after 5pm on a Saturday so no one was answering the phone or returning messages. Found a round-about way to get ahold of someone, no one could come out until Sunday, no time given. It was Sunday afternoon we gave up and asked for a refund (they did refund our almost $700 repair fee which is why there are 2 stars instead of 1, the poor guy we called also answered his phone each time, so that was appreciated). Our uncle (who works during the week, has a family to care for and lives over an hour away) came out and replaced the cracked pipe Sunday evening, so we wouldn't have to go without running water for a second night.

STAY AWAY! Very expensive and poor quality work. I called Direct Source Plumbing to get a water line installed from my faucet to an ice maker located on the opposite side of the kitchen. They ran the water line tubing through my pantry and used duct tape to secure it to the wall. It looks sloppy, visible waterline, and most of it has already fallen down. Horrible service. Not professional at all! And my bill was $170, for them to install a 6 foot water line with duct tape.

I had an emergency hot water leak and Mike was sent out to take care of it. He was professional, explained what was occurring and what needed to be done. Although he had to jackhammer a hole into my kitchen floor through the slab, he kept the mess to an absolute minimum. I was very pleased with the work he did.

The employees were easy to work with. They performed the work required and were very honest and forthcoming about each step of the process. I recommend this company.

These guys responded quickly to our request for a bid, were professional, and did the work well. It was easy to schedule with them, and they explained the work well. We plan to use them again for any plumbing needs.

Called these fine folks on a second opinion; original plumber couldn't clear shower drain & told me it was a damaged or missing p-trap & would need either $3k to jack out the concrete in the bathroom or $5k to dig from the outside to fix it. Wes with Direct Source had it cleared in less than an hour. He also got a new water line installed for my kitchen to go to the fridge. All for a fair price, & just under half a days work. Any plumbing needs I have will go through this company.

We called Direct Source after 5pm due to my sewer line backing up into my home. They came within 35 mins of me calling. Wes was very professional and understanding. The company never charged me an after hours fee. And the price discribed over the phone was exactly what they charged me. As a first time home owner with my very first plumbing emergency they and Wes Hart were just AMAZING! WILL USE THEM FOR PLUMBING NEEDS IN THE FUTURE!

had direct source come out due to a suspected gas leak per Atmos. Within 2 hrs we were told there was no leak then there was a leak, oh nevermind I forgot to close the valves upstairs, then no leak again then 30 mins later there was a leak 🤦‍♂️....OK cool how much are we talking? $575, OK cool. they do the repair then atmos says there is still a leak. so they send out 2 guys the next day, finally get it done and the city inspector approves and we finally get our gas back on (atmos had bad guages apparently) then get a call starting we owe $1500+ that was never disclosed to us but we paid it anyways. less than 2 weeks later we are still smelling gas in the same exact area. the techs were super friendly (from what I hear , I was out of town at the time) The cost should've definitely been disclosed more upfront but I'm mostly annoyed with the uncertainty of whether my house ever actually had a leak or not.

In short, potato peelings down the garbage disposal. We called Direct Source and Wes was here in 30 minutes. Very polite and professional young man. An hour later, everything was replaced, working like new and Wes had everything cleaned up. It was about 7:00 in the evening when we called and he was gone by 8:30. We really like Wes. (He came out once a few weeks ago and showed us we did not need anything done with the line that we occasionally have to get cleaned out due to tree roots. We will call him next time we need this service, too.)

I have just found my plumbers!! I found this company do to a blockage of the main plumbing line in my house. This issue started a week ago and life has been quite the adjustment for me and my two children. I have been waiting on my warranty company, Select Home (who i do not recommend) to get this taken care of. They sent another company to assess my issue. They not only did not come in the 4 hr block as assigned but they did not tell me until I called them to ask them if they were still coming. So i missed out on $147 of pay for nothing. Then the guy told me they couldnt fix it without a $1250 pipe added to my home. Had i not gone on YouTube I would not have known to get a second opinion.

I googled plumbers in NRH and messages another company and was given the option to send to other companies at the same time. Direct Source called me and the others messaged me. I got the opportunity to speak with their very kind and professional receptionist. They only had a late slot from 6-8p. Then she called me back 45 mins later to tell me they could get me taken care of at 12p. Tyler and Drew arrived 15 mins early. They called me when they were on their way. Tyler came and talk to me about all of the different ways they could go about fixing my problem. He started with the easiest and most cost efficient way first. He was able to get me back running in an hour or so with Drew's help and gave me a thorough debrief of the problem and then some.

A young man named Wes called me within 10 minutes and stated he could be here within 30 minutes. WOW! That seemed too good to be true. However, it WAS true, as Wes was here within 20 minutes.

Wes was very professional, he looked at my stopped-up sewer, and said Yes, I can fix that. Another 15-20 minutes later, he was done with the work and putting his tools away.
