We received three quotes to replace our 20 year old gas water heater. Lane plumbing gave a quote 15 and 30% lower than companies we had used in the past, but we were impressed with Mr. Lane's helpful knowledge and felt comfortable entrusting his crew to do the job. Marc was the plumber who did the install, and we were very impressed with his skill and thoroughness in doing the job. We would definitely use Lane Plumbing in the future. I had a leak with my hot water heater and they fixed it within a day! I was on a trip at the time with my house sitter there, and they were very communicative over phone and text as well as sending photos and videos of the problem and fix. Pricing was very fair especially with how fast they came to fix it. Would definitely recommend and got their name from a friend who had a great experience with them as well!

I do not plan to use this service again. My unit is fine but 2 out of the 3 times they have visited there was something wrong that was$300+! My system works fine it was 8 years new when there was a supposed problem. Plus they were scheduled for 11-2 and called at 9:30 to say that someone was in route on my voicemail! I was totally shocked when the guy was ringing the doorbell at 10:15 while I'm getting out of the shower. What's the purpose of scheduling an appointment if you are coming when you get ready! The initial salesperson is a real nice guy but it hits the fan when it gets past him! Won't use it again!

I recently relocated to Raleigh and had some work done on the house that required the carpenters to remove the toilet to lay down a wood floor. It was obvious that the wax seal had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. I researched plumbers on YELP and found that CK Plumbing had excellent reviews. I called to make an appointment and everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly. Sean and his coworker showed up at my house on schedule, re-placed the wax ring and re-seated the toilet. The charge was what was quoted. I won't hesitate to call them again for more work, or when I redo my bathroom.
