These guys are doing an awesome job helping to get peoples homes back up and running after Fridays earthquake. After I called, I was expecting to have to wait until the middle to end of the week. I was glad to get the call Sunday morning that a tech was on his way. Curtis got my water heater back up and running in short order, at a less than expected cost.

Super professional service. Went out if their way to find a part for a older furnace instead if trying to sell me a new one. Trustworthy with good communication.

Hired them to delete some gas lines and fix a drain clog. Gas lines out great. Couldn't reach the drain clog with their snake, and said they were going to come back out and access the clog from a closer section of the pipe (it was at 12' down the pipe). I know that they don't typically do drain clogs but they had offered to finish the job. They never called to reschedule, so I called back and scheduled another appointment. Day of the appointment they were a no call, no show. I even called them that day and they never returned my call. Still using a slop bucket under my bathroom sink, 3 weeks after initial visit. Not a good look for a company that has a 5 star Google rating. Will not waste my time with them again. (Edit: They did tell me over the phone when I scheduled the second appointment that they don't normally do drains but that they would put me on their schedule anyway)

Do NOT use this guy! This dude is a rude conartist and an embarrassment as a craftsman. I paid him twice to check my boiler and it still didn't work properly. I called him to see if he stands by his work and he said only the work he completed. I asked him if my system still isn't working right why should I pay him again to fix the problem he should've fixed the first time and he said he doesn't own my boiler. He is either incompetent or trying to rip me off, either way it's not acceptable. I had alkota out and they fixed it in half the time and price. Thanks for nothing Bill.

To follow up Bill, I called you out to troubleshoot no heat upstairs. After two times being called out you still couldn’t get the place to heat properly which has nothing to do with alkota or the leak on the backflow preventer not a solder joint. I was stern but did not cuss because you would not stand by your work. If you can’t trouble shoot a problem correctly you own that instead of saying I’ll check if the one thing I did was properly installed but if it was I’ll charge you. By the way anchorage plumbing and heating replaced the very same zone valve you installed. You only replaced the head instead of cutting out and soldering the whole part and it was the conduit connection that was clogged up. They showed me that the head typically doesn’t go bad it’s the conduit connection usually gets clogged and if the head was replaced that’s doesn’t fully fix the problem because the flow is still obstructed. The boiler is a newer system so it’s up and working just fine now.

These guys came out within an hour or two of my call. Quickly confirmed the issue and solved my gas leak. Did a little “extra” work on the spot and put a new hose bib in for me. When an issue arises in the future, no doubt who I am calling. Thanks!

We had an urgent situation where the main shutoff valve for the water to our house was stuck and we couldn’t turn it back on. Living Waters came to our house after hours, unstuck the valve, and proceeded to repair a toilet that wasn’t working. The technician was professional and meticulous with his work. very friendly and professional, did great work with an incredibly fair price. installed a new water heater in less than 2 hours. most other plumbers said it would take 4-5 hours and cost upwards of $1000. definitely gonna call them back if we have any more plumbing needs.

Sound Mechanical has absolutely MISERABLE customer service. It is apparently not within the realm of possibility that this company can make a mistake. When we mentioned to the owner that his workers left a beer bottle behind he told us we were lying and cussed at us. We could care less that there was a beer bottle left behind, just wanted him to know as a business owner. We also let him know that the dryer vent was now disconnected (they had to move the washer and dryer to get to the water heater). He informed me that someone must have moved the washer and dryer after they left. The washer and dryer are a million pounds and neither me nor my tenants touched it after they left. We also didn't care that they made mistakes, just wanted it fixed. The owner was irate that we pointed these things out and used foul language when speaking to us. Last noteworthy items, they did not replace the bathroom door, they left it in my tenants bedroom. They left crud all over the floor in their work area. They also damaged the railing outside my house when they launched the old water heater over the railing instead of walking it down. You'd never believe it, but he didn't apologize for that either.
