The owner Mr. Erwin, is honest, professional, excellent, hardworking, skillful, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Many of these traits are just so hard to find in any businesses these days; so when you do find not just one trait but all of them in a business owner, it makes the business even more valuable. Not only did we find Mr. Erwin’s wonderful business, but we had so many things happen all at once and needed referrals for four separate companies in total; and every single company referred to and hired in his network of trusted contractors…well, each of those companies from the one who recommended him to the ones he recommended were all found to be excellent. So not only is this a referral for Erwin Plumbing and Heating, llc. but if you need plumbing or heating and any referrals for any other service needed that he cannot provide, which there isn’t much he cannot be trusted to do in my humble opinion, know that you can trust whoever he recommends, to be just as excellent as him. His business tagline is: “No job too small” and I feel he not only values each job whether big or small but with his kindhearted way of dealing with his customers, I feel that he goes above and beyond and values the people too, such a rare wonderful way of doing business.

We found Mr. Erwin does excellent work the first time around and you will not need multiple visits or the cost of needing to ever call a second company to fix any work he provides, because his first time asked workmanship is so excellent. Mr. Erwin honors his bids and showed up so quickly to fully fix not only our plumbing issues, but here we are a few months later and we had a bit of an emergency at my mother in loves home and Mr. Erwin, happened to be in the area and showed up right away to problem solve, give us a bid on a plan of action and within a couple of days had the replacement furnace and everything we agreed upon needing fixed totally completed. Yay!

We needed plumbing work a few months back for our own home and what a blessing finding Erwin Plumbing and Heating, llc. The owner did excellent install work, installing and replacing blocked piping and designed a piping system to include a shutoff valve for the entire water system, shutoff valve for our outside water faucets, a bypass for our water softener so we would never have to risk breaking the plastic one on our original system that was very difficult to use and of course a way to also turn all water on everywhere. The piping is set up now where any of those four routes for water can now be achieved with a simple turn of a couple of levers: Full shut off, outside faucets shut off, bypass softener and full run.

Can plumbing piping be cool? We sure think so, as Mr. Erwin is both talented at his craft and skilled in his follow through. One of the best companies we have hired in 55 years of living here in Alaska.

Just when we thought the worst year on record, 2020, was behind us, we had a heating & plumbing emergency on New Years Day... we called every number we could find via Google search, to no avail!

Finally, we were able to reach the Plumbing & Heating Doctor. They were prompt and thorough! Our technician, Robby, arrived in under an hour and quickly repaired the damaged pipe—restoring heat and water to our home, with an outside temperature of -4°F!

I cannot express our satisfaction and gratitude for the amazing & prompt service of the Plumbing & Heating Doctor! Give Robby a raise!

I have contacted John twice, January 2020 and 2021, for different reasons. Returned home in 2020 from a trip and my pipes had frozen, John came right a way and ended up fixing the main leak and a secondary break after restarting furnace. This year I noticed a dry puddle under the furnace and corrosion on some pipes. After reviewing photos, John came within 5 days and replaced only what was necessary and checked the operation of the unit.

John's experience shows in his work, thoroughness and concern for his customers. I have referred John to friends and co-workers, who have let me know they too appreciate his service.

I called on Sunday evening about a clog and told them it wasn’t an emergency and was okay with waiting until Monday. I had to work Monday afternoon, though, so first thing would be ideal.

They called me Monday morning right at 9 and Dakota and Ryan were at my door by 9:30. They were in and out, professional, efficient, personable, and reasonably priced.

We will never call anyone else for drain clogs!

I called to schedule an appointment to fix a clogged drain. It took two days for the tech to come. I knew the drain was clogged and asked for them to come with their camera to see where the clog was. When the techs finally showed up, the only thing they did was run their router rooter down the drain ad told me it was clogged. They charged me $200.00 for that and told me it would be an additional $300.00 to come out again. We went the whole Christmas weekend with our sink clogged. So basically they came out, told me that I had a clogged drain, which I already knew, did nothing to fix it and charged me $200.00. They did absolutely nothing! I wouldn’t recommend this company, they ripped me off!

Fixed my problem unlike Moore Heating. Nice tech who explained the problem and unlike the other company stayed to make sure it was working!

These guys have been amazing in helping myself and my neighbors with our water leaks and other issues in this continuing wind storm! Very special thanks to Larry, Rob Nelson, and David! On top of their great work, they have also been kind and patient with this clueless single woman! I hope you all get a raise or bonus of some sort; you all deserve it!

Paid to have the same leak fixed twice, 2 months apart. When I asked if the leak was fixed the first time I was told I would have to wait and see and call back. Not realizing it meant I would have to pay regardless them not fixing it the first time. I just wanted it fixed so I paid again, then I was told they would have to reschedule a third time because the toilet couldn’t be installed until the cement hardened. When I scheduled the 3rd appointment between 2-4pm I had my husband go to the house at 145pm to wait. When he arrived at 145pm a note on the door said sorry I missed you at 130pm you’ll have to reschedule. Is this normal for business to disregard clients schedule times and come as they please then just tell them they missed the appointment? Maybe I’m in the wrong for thinking they would be at my house between 2pm-4pm. I just don’t want anyone els to go through what I did. Please stay clear
