I had called Jacob at Sound Mechanical because I heard water dripping underneath the floor in my kitchen in the crawl space. I made the call around 7am and explained over the phone what I heard and was concerned that a pipe had burst or sprung a leak. Jacob responded that they had a full day of scheduled appointments but would send someone over as soon as they had met the needs of there previously scheduled appointments.He mentioned I would receive a call from one of the employees as soon as they became free. I went to my office and was Pleasantly surprised with a call around the noon hour. The said they could be at my house within a half hour. I went home and the plumber was there 10 minutes earlier than expected. I explained what was happening and showed where the crawl space access was. Within 30 minutes the plumber was completely done and the leak was found and repaired with explanation of what he had found. Problem solved! I have refereed Sound plumbing to multiple friends prior to this repair that I personally needed. All of them praised and thanked me for referring Sound plumbing to them and said they will be using them for all there plumbing needs! We are all happy satisfied customers. Zack came out to fix some issues with my boiler setup and was awesome with finding and explaining the issues it was having, getting parts ordered in a timely manner, getting us situated so that we had usable water while we waited for parts and then did an excellent job with the repairs. I feel like he and the company made a point to provide a high quality of service and I would definitely call Rock Solid in the future.

Raul installed my Lennox variable speed furnace and Paul put in an Air Scrubber Advanced-my home now smells like a walk in a misty forest and is as toasty as I need it to be. My go-to plumbing and heating company. They are honest, fair, and reliable. Trey has always been responsive and helpful with his recommendations. And I’m not sure what that lady in the reviews below is talking about - Alaska Plumbing Service charges based on bids they write up - it’s basically a service contract. You don’t get charged extra for “chit chat,” but you also don’t get to negotiate for a different price after services have been rendered. It’s very fair, especially for the quality of repairs and services you get.

The guys that did my duct cleaning were not professional and apparently not experienced at all. They did not use corner protectors during the duct cleaning and ended up damaging my walls and trim edges. My place is newly renovated and painted, but now I have scuff marks on my walls and brand new door trims. I’ve called them multiple times but all they say is that a contractor will get in touch with me for the repairs. More than two months later and numerous phone calls to them and they still have not fixed the damage they caused. I would not recommend them or use them again.
