NO HEAT with a forced air system. In the middle of winter, in the middle of a snowstorm. Ugh!
Rock Solid said they'd be there to look at it - and they were there promptly. They looked. They figured out that a thermostat had failed and needed replaced - in addition to a couple of vacuum-operated switches on the heater not working right.
I replace the thermostat while they fixed the heater. They told me that the switches were notorious for intermittent operation/failure, and that they were commonly frustrating to locate - but they were still working a week later, so we held tight.
Three-hundred and sixty three days later...those same switches acted up again AND THEY CAME OUT UNDER WARRANTY and got the unit going again! It was a rental of ours and we were BLOWN AWAY! WOW!
We ordered new switches, and they came out and replaced them - for the simple cost of a service call!
THAT'S customer service!

It is one thing to make a mistake, it's another to not even attempt to make it right. Left us hanging out to dry and fighting for months to get his insurance to pay for the damages!

Our furnace would not stay running to maintain our desired temperature in our home. Rock Solid technician David responded within an hour of our call, and was able to diagnosis the problem and make the necessary repairs. He also had the parts we needed in his van. Awesome service, I called needing a pressure tank replacement to prevent failure of newly replaced well pump. They shoe horned us in on a Friday afternoon to keep us from having to wait until Monday. They came highly recommended and I wish to continue the trend.

After two months of enduring a cold house because of a faulty in-floor heat system, Zack with Rock Solid solved the issue. I had two companies come in before Rock Solid who replaced parts and gave theories, but did not fix the problem. Zack and Chris took the time to analyze and test all the electrical and pressure systems of my in-floor system. They figured out the problem and were quick to resolve the issue. I finally have my Plumber Guy with Rock Solid. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing and heating service.

Water heater went out over Christmas Eve night. After finding out what the problem was I tried to find the part locally and was unsuccessful. Called Noritz direct and they said call a plumber. Called Rock Solid and they said they would try and fit me in the next day if they had time. They called me and said they could fit me in between 10-2. Jason called me at 930 saying they were on their way. Jason and Mark arrived and contacted Noritz and found out the part was under warranty. Even gave me a quick run through on my water filter while we waited on hold for Noritz. Now we wait for the part to be overnighted the day before New Years Eve. If I had called Rock Solid right away, we would have had it fixed already.

I woke up this morning to no heat outside temp was 18 degrees, inside temp was 64 and dropping. David was dispatched to my apartment, arrived a little after 9 am and had my heat back on by 9:20, he even changed out my filter. Pull up a chair, let me tell you a little tale. We moved to the Valley about 3 years ago and bought a house that had been built about 10 years prior. It is a nice house and on the bigger side. It has hydronic heating and we knew the boilers, which were installed in 2008 were getting older. We inherited a service company from the prior owner, they were proficient and professional and all was pretty good, routine maintenance, a few minor repairs, the usual. Then in early November of 2022 both the main house boiler and the shop's glycol boiler completely fail during routine inspection by our normal vendor. Short version is that the main boiler is done and the shop boiler will be a few weeks to get the part. Now in 2008 the builder selected some very fancy French mini boilers and took advantage of that small size when setting up the boiler room. Today the vendor says no boiler will fit in this space and rebuilding the entire boiler room will be as much as your average four door sedan and might be done by mid December. Needless to say we were disappointed. I began calling plumbing and heating companies and soon spoke to Chris at Rock Solid. Now I did not have a multi-year relationship with this company, they had never met me. What they knew was that I had a problem, a possible very challenging one and they were willing to confront it with me. With remarkable patients and professionalism they quickly built a reliable (and far more reasonable) quote to replace our primary boiler and promised to start work in less than a week. Today Jason and David showed up bright and early and worked through the day to get the job done, even staying a bit past their normal finishing time to follow through on their commitment to get us heat and hot water by the end of the day. Relationships and reputations are built on many things but strong actions are about the best building material in the world for such things. I am so pleased to have encountered this company and look forward to using their services and recommending them to others. To the crew that got my family back to normal today, thank you. Rock Solid did a great job. I had them inspect my heating system and give me confidence going into winter that we're in the best position to not have an outage. They also replaced a sensor in my boiler mate, they found it for me and installed it, no hassle on my end, they just go it fixed. They also fixed a small leak in a pipe. I’ve been more than happy with the friendly, professional service Rock Solid has given me for my old, occasionally cranky furnace. I’ve been lucky enough to have Brent come each time and actually enjoyed his “visit” as he talks to me like a friend, not just another client. First heard of this company from their cute ads on the radio. I have used another Wasilla business for years, but they were too busy to get to our pressure tank leak immediately. I called Rock Solid on a Friday and they were able to send David out the following Wednesday. David did a fantastic job. He was professional and finished the work in record time. He advised us of his progress as he went along and gave me an estimate that was almost to the dollar before completing the work. I highly recommend David and Rock Solid.

Jason and his guys did an outstanding job installing an on demand boiler/water heater in our new building. Very professional and personable. Rock Solid has been consistently far above average in my experience. I appreciate the timely communications and punctual work.

In December I called them because I had a vandalized shower handle, at $205 an hour, the gentleman took one of them apart (twice) only to tell me he didn't really know what was wrong, (but they would drive to get parts?) Sorry.... He inked out an extra half hour, for a total of $270 and left. Useless, and dare I say fraudulent?

My son was working on the North Slope and had a furnace issue so I conacted the owner who had one of his awesome guys come out to my son's house in between other appointments. There are quite a few well known, established choices in the valley for Plumbing and Heating service, but I'm pretty satisfied with my experience dealing with Rock Solid. Chris had his guy call me up and I had him over a couple days later to do a routine inspection of my Furnace and HRV. Had a good talk with the service tech about my air flow conditions and the pricing was great.

Our water heater decided to flood our garage Monday evening, so I started down a long list of plumbing and heating companies to come to our rescue.

All were happy to quote us, but installation was anywhere from 5 days to 4+ weeks (that's a lot of cold showers...).

I called Rock Solid on Tuesday and texted them pics of our dead dinosaur water heater, had a quote within an hour and installation scheduled today (Wednesday).

Even better, Dave and Gus (the techs) finished up their other job early and asked if they could be here before 1 to do the install.

I had a very old shower system with leaking handles. The parts were not made anymore to repair it but the Rock Solid team came through. They were able to find a different set of parts and were able to quickly fix my issue. I know a lot of behind the scene leg work went into finding these parts and it was truly appreciated!

Had called around to a dozen local shops because my water heater went out and I needed a replacement. Rock Solid plumbing came with a bid that matched the next guy, but it was with a much better and more efficient water heater.

The owner brought by a few informational guides and explained the benefits of one model versus the other, and once we had decided on using Rock Solid Plumbing, they were there within the week and had plumbed everything neatly two days ahead of schedule.

Zack came out to fix some issues with my boiler setup and was awesome with finding and explaining the issues it was having, getting parts ordered in a timely manner, getting us situated so that we had usable water while we waited for parts and then did an excellent job with the repairs. I feel like he and the company made a point to provide a high quality of service and I would definitely call Rock Solid in the future.

They showed up on Wednesday and the control board they needed was in Anchorage. I volunteered to go get it as my house was without heat or hot water. They told me that was not possible but they would get it the next day and would be able to install it on Thursday or Friday. After I approved the purchase of the part I was informed that they would not be able to come back until the next Tuesday to do the 5 minute install. My wife and children went without hot water or heat for 4 extra days as I was away at work. If they had told me there would be that much of a delay I would have used someone else but Rock Solid kept me waiting with no excuse. I will never use them again and I hope others won't either.

Called these guys after I found my boiler's overflow pipe running like a faucet. They were able to got here within an hour of me calling them (even though I called at 6:30 on a Friday night), and had it fixed before another hour was up. Zack and Dave were very polite and professional, not to mention quick on the job. They went above and beyond to explain to me what happened and which water valve to shut off should it happen again in the future. Overall a great experience! Rock Solid rescued us from a nerve wracking leak. They sent us Brent who did an awesome job for us going above and beyond. He even laughed at our bad jokes. Both times I have used Rock Solid, have been wonderful experiences! I needed my system descaled and a water filter changed. Jason and Dave arrived between the projected call out time. Upon arrival they were courteous, friendly and conscientious (they took their shoes off every time between the front door and the crawl space!!) they were very informative and even showed me how to change the filter next time. Chris, from Rock Solid, fixed a water line that had been install wrong. An amateur had installed our dishwasher so that the gray water was draining into the dishwasher and leaked all over the kitchen floor. We call another local company and they did not fix the problem. Rock solid did the job right! I've learned my lesson. If I'd have called a professional in the first place I'd have saved a lot of money. Thank you Rock Solid!

My wife and I have been looking for a reliable plumbing company for years. We finally called rock solid and they quickly responded to the call and discovered the issues we were having that multiple other companies failed to discover and charged us for. Although they had a busy schedule they still made time for my family and took care of any priorities to make sure we had what we needed. They also quickly followed up to address the other issues. David and Gus very prompt and professional. A pipe was leaking that led to my crawl space . David explained that with time a pipe can split from boiling water. He was correct. My pipe was split within the wall from my kitchen sink. Both using great team work were able to replace my pipe in a short period of time. The were both friendly and took the time to explain things.

Circulating pump was leaking from boiler system and there was no power to the boiler. Reset did not work. Tried turning off water to pump but it still leaked. Service tech (plumber) replaced the pump and a fuse that was blown when the leak stopped. The plumber was quick and knew what he was doing and he was very nice to work with.

I would really like to give a shout out to Zack! I just bought my first property which is a triplex and the boiler in my unit had a gas leak and stopped working so I had no hot water or heat. Zack came in, talked to the manufacture, got them to extend the warranty and I just had to pay for labor. A 10-13K job ended up costing me just over 3K. Additionally, he showed me how to shut the gas and water off in an emergency, showed me what pipes went to what units. Explained what the pressure tank did and where the well pump was. What a knowledgeable and friendly guy!!

I am very, very pleased with our experience with Rock Solid Plumbing and Heating, and especially the service provided by Jason and David. We found a problem with the hot water in our bathroom and a problem with our gas fireplace right after we moved into our house in September. We had a very difficult time finding available plumbing and heating technicians who could help us or even call us back to schedule a call. Our real estate agent suggested Rock Solid, and we are so glad we found them. I called on Wednesday, and I got a call back in less than 5 minutes to schedule a visit for the following Friday. David and Jason arrived on time after calling us to let us know they were on their way. They found the gas line problem and the plumbing problem immediately, showed us what needed to be repaired, then went straight to work getting both of our problems resolved in less than 90 mins. I've been working with Rock Solid and the guys for over a year on a two part home renovation. Last October they helped me move my sink in the kitchen and did all the plumbing perfectly. They also added rough plumbing for an add on half bath. While they were here I asked them to replace my outdoor faucets and they did all that in one day. This past Friday they installed a garage heater in my newly added attached garage. Jason, Karlo and Logan did an awesome job and were professional and polite. They quickly added the gas piping and installed and tested the heater. Jason also helped with a quick plumbing repair. I will use Rock Solid again in the future as they really know plumbing. Just had a kitchen sink installed and a non working bathroom sink fixed by Jason and Dave. They did an incredible job.They were finishing the work from a previous plumber who never came back to finish. I had a lot of ground water coming up in my crawl space and tried several other companies to resolve this. Jason with Rock Solid was able to come by and resolve this issue and even insulated all of the piping to reduce noise.
