Great experience with these guys. They called in advance, like they said they would. They showed up on time, like they said they would. And they did great work, like they said they would. In Anchorage, contractors like this hardly ever do all of the above like they said they would. Personable technicians, in and out quick, left no mess. I would recommend this company highly.

I cannot sing their praises enough! AK Clearwater Mechanical did all the plumbing, heating, and HRV systems in our new home and they installed our MASSIVE fireplace! They are wonderful to work with and have the BEST customer service! We even had a couple of issues after we moved in and when I called them they came right away and resolved the issues quickly and professionally. Call them! You'll be SO glad you did!!!

These guys are fantastic! I called for a quote on Tuesday to see about getting some heat in a room over my garage that had no heat to it. Shane came out at noon on Thursday to see what could be done. Had his guys out by 1:00 that same day to install a new heat duct from the crawlspace to the second floor. Heat was flowing by 5:30 that same day! They did amazing work and for a very fair price. Just found my new go to heating folks. Thanks!

Earlier this year I engaged Diamond heating for the installation of a replacement HVAC unit on my downtown Anchorage commercial building. This type of installation can be complex with mechanical and structural engineering as well as gas and electrical requirements planned in advance of permitting. Working with Jack at Diamond heating greatly simplified and streamlined the process. Once the unit arrived in Anchorage, Herm and Brandon performed the installation over three days working late on the third day to stay on schedule. The next day, after inspection approval, Russ came out and provided me a hands on tutorial of the startup and maintenance requirements. Overall, due to diligent planning, the entire job came off on time, on budget and with top quality workmanship. I will say, I do feel I over paid for the installation of my tankless water heater. However, other than departing with more money than I would have liked, I feel like it was worth it. What I paid extra for in this transaction was a company I feel I can trust. While I was quoted less from other companies for the same installation, I am not sure it would have been done as well, nor with the same reassurance the Plumbing and Heating Doctor provides. Some of the interactions I had with the other companies made it feel as though they were not listening to my requests. Others did not take the time to ask questions. Some simply did not get back to me with estimates at all. Robbie, the gentleman who came to my house to set up an accurate estimate and go over all aspects of the installation, was attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. The next day, literally, he and his team came over to install the unit, and I couldn't help but notice how Mason, was wiping down every bit of what they had installed to remove any gunk, oil, or residue left by the installation process. When they left, they unit was practically shimmering. They thoroughly explained every part of the system they installed, including standard maintenance it needs over time. They services all my questions and once again emphasized that they stand behind their products and services and that a 1 year warranty means everything is covered short of an act of God. And I believe them.

Mr. Fox helped us with an unknown wall leak and was able to come after hours and help us same-day. His expertise and depth of knowledge was unprecedented as well as his professionalism. Mr. Fox was able to assess the issue quickly and provided expert plumber repair. I highly recommend him to anyone. He has over 30 years of experience and is extremely capable.

Had them come out for two separate issues and will be calling them again in the future. Found they have the best price in town for water heater replacement - They replaced my water heater and fixed the outlet plumbing. Did some valve replacement on clothes washer plumbing.

They are also the quickest to get in for evaluation and repair/replacement. Other places around town gave me the run around. Will definitely recommend All-Star to friends and family.

We had an after hours emergency involving a burst pipe in our heating system at a time when below zero temps for over a week meant that everyone in town was swamped. Curtis got to us fast, resolved the issue quickly, and even left a space heater with us overnight. We'll definitely be going back to mountain mechanical for any future needs!

First class? Really? They should probably change their name because all we got was a dented water heater and a giant hole in the laundry room. Most places would check the product - boxed or unboxed - for dents... and then fix the hole they put in a customer’s wall. Them? Not a damn thing. So what now? On top of hundreds of dollars dropped on a dented water heater we get to stare at a hole in the wall and a light switch plate taped to the wall. First class plumbing. HA!
