Great company in a sea of average players! Owner, Kyle, is a delight to deal with and a great trouble-shooter. After using another company to diagnose a problem that they said would require a new sewer line, we had Kyle come provide an estimate on the job and he quickly determined that was not our issue and not necessary. He had one of his team out on a Saturday (no extra weekend charge) and our fix was $150 instead of $7-12k. Highly recommend this company!

Rueben was recommended - but, I assume it was for a newer home.
We purchased a 1950's ranch that had all older piping. We wanted to move the location of the toliet as well as build a new shower pan and relocate the washer and dryer. He was super casual and cool at the bid and then it all went downhill. I was quoted a price of 4200 for the ENTIRE JOB! When I asked him 5 times for the list of the things covered in ENTIRE JOB, I never received it, even though we asked for it 5-6 times. We continued on as we needed work done. When he arrived the first day the whole picture changed. When I referred back to the conversation he acted like he was unaware of any of it. The price kept growing and we were too far in. We them hired a very good GC to come and do all the things that Rueben had told his was in the price and he had to redo almost the entire job. Rueben did not put on blocking plates on any of the new plumbing and charged us triple the cost for work he did not even do. He also installed the wall mounted toliet system wrong on the wall and did not connect the pipes into the right main line.
Additionally, he claimed he would need to re-route the things he did not have to re-route. He claimed to need a concrete company to come to help chisel the hole, even though that was not in the bid. He had our card stored on file (big no no) and just kept charging us.
His crew completely destroyed the brand new wall mounted radiant heaters that we had just has installed a week before. When confronted on this he tried to blame the concrete company that he hired and charged us for.
He is a total scam artist. Then we we confronted him on why he did not put blocking plates on he got very aggressive and claimed he would call the city on us. He takes 2-3 week vacations and cannot take calls on vacation, pretty ironic for someone that knew he was charging and receiving money for work performed not only incorrectly but, also incomplete.
Hiring Rueben is a huge mistake and he will end up costing you money!
I am not sure, but I think part of the reason he never sent an estimate is because this is his game plan. SHADY !

We used this company in 2018 when the hot water went out on our water heater. I called in the morning and the guy came out the same day to diagnosis the problem. He was able to repair the water heater the very next day! The tech was very professional and did an outstanding job, providing us with knowledge about the water heater.

This spring we noted a crack in our outside water valve that leads to the sprinkler system. I set up a diagnostic appointment with WHE due to the great past experience with the water heater. When the tech came out he was very courteous professional and also provided knowledge about our water system. He made recommendations regarding replacements of certain parts but was honest that it was not something that needed to be done at this time. I did not feel pushed into paying for a repair that did not need to be repaired at this time. He replaced the valve that needed to be replaced the very next morning.

I would recommend this company to others. This company is very professional, hard working, dependable, reliable and trustworthy. Their prices are not outrageous and they are flexible with scheduling.

We had Zack out recently and he was able to replace a plumbing vent for our kitchen sink, install a water shutoff valve for an outdoor spigot, and install a water pressure valve for the house. His prices were much more reasonable than the other quotes we received, he was very knowledgeable and able to answer all questions, and was able to complete the work the same day. I highly recommend Family Plumbing Services.

I received a quote from them for replacing a traditional hot water heater with a tankless water heater and it was excessively high. They quoted me 4k just for the installation part. I called around and hit next door for competing quotes and got it done for $800 and I bought the tankless water heater separately.

I bought a $8,000 bathtub from this company and when it was delivered, I called to schedule an installation hoping that the company would support all aspects of deployment, as the expert on all the features the tub came equipped with. After all, they have plumbing in the title. Bob picked up the phone and said precisely this: I am not interested in installing your bathtub. I inquired about a reason, primarily thinking that maybe my bathroom, that is currently being remodeled, doesn't have something required for the install. After much unexplained and unsubstantiated push back, Bob asked condescendingly whether my construction crew was certified and all permits were present. I responded that that is the case and asked whether, with this information provided, he would do the install. Bob responded that that does not guarantee that he will perform the install, since he is the owner of the business and can do as he pleases. Overall, his attitude was hugely disrespectful, arrogant and dismissing, all the way assuming, for some reason, that my construction project was done by amateurs that would mess up the plumbing and have no proper documentation, which was absolutely not the case. The project manager sent Bob all the info, but by then I was so astonished that a business owner would treat his customer with such contempt and lack of professionalism, that I decided that it's not a company I ever want to do business with. I wish I bought from a different company that actually cared about what happens after the sale. If you decide to look at them, my advise, instead of talking to the nice helpful ladies in the showroom, first meet Bob and pre-negotiate all the basics or better yet, take your business elsewhere.

(For some reasons my write-up didn't appear so I'm editing it to add)We had Jay out to help us with a blockage somewhere between our house and our septic tank. He was professional and so very patient while determining the correct fix. This is a problem that we have from time to time and he was the first person to not be intimidated by a septic tank and to take the time to make sure that everything was done correctly. He was also able to help us by adding on a screw top lid for our clean out to help us troubleshoot if/when this happens again in the future. So glad we called Blue Sky! We were able to get someone one within 12 hours of our initial call, Jay was on time, and pricing was clear with options presented up front.

Jordan was very responsive and had great communication with me regarding what needed to be done. So happy to find a reliable and trustworthy plumber!
