I have been a customer for over 10 years, own my house. Had a drainage issue in my bathroom sink. I called Done Plumbing, they had someone here the same day I called. She arrived on time, did a great job of cleaning out the drainage in my bathroom sink. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the process. I have recommended Done Plumbing and heating to my family and neighbors and always will.

My furnace went out last week. What a huge stress! OMG!So, I had a guy from SWAN come out because it is a company with hugely positive ratings. I had already opened up the unit, including the electrical panel before the guy got there. When he arrived, he did not bring any tools or equipment in with him. The only thing he had was a binder with pricing lists in it. He looked at the unit with only his eyes (didn’t even bother to take out a multimeter or anything) for a total of maybe 30 seconds before proclaiming that it needed to be replaced. I had considered this possibility before he came out and had researched some pricing for a replacement unit. Of the multiple hits I looked at, I understood that my costs with install should be less than $3000 for a mobile home furnace. The guy told me it was going to be roughly $7000. He then ticked off all the potential problems for what could be wrong with the system while making it clear he would be doing zero diagnostic work. While he was perfectly polite, he was very pushy with the sales. When I balked at the price he quoted me he made up some bogus lie about how difficult mobile home furnaces were. He then pushed hard and heavy on the sales tactic trying to sell me a loan. When I made it clear that I was not going to agree to a $7000 debt on the spot without at least doing some further research, getting a second opinion, and checking with my bank on loan rates – only then did he start offering lower priced options. “Well, we could do a deep clean. A lot of times the dust will clog up the system and cause it to stop functioning – that will be $700. If that doesn’t work we can also look at replacing your computer control board – that will be $900. But, there is no guarantee that those will work. Plus with a unit this old, you probably have cracks in the barrel, and that is a real safety hazard.”I recognized this immediately as predatory sales tactics. Unwilling to do a diagnostic check, selling me the most expensive (and largely overpriced) option first, aggressively pushing in-house loan options (with 10% interest), and using scare tactics as a manipulation maneuver.I politely dismissed him and told him that I really needed to check with my own bank on a better loan rate. He left and I immediately hopped on YouTube and started watching how-to videos related to my specific furnace. In summary, it took me five days, a LOT of stress, much trial and error and some scraped up hands, but I fixed my own furnace. I did the deep clean, I inspected for barrel cracks, and I replaced 5 parts (ignitor, pressure switch, inducer motor, control board and thermostat). I have a fully functioning furnace. In addition to the time and stress, it only cost me $250. The computer control board that he wanted to charge me $900 for only cost $82 and took me 30 minutes to install. That is like 12 times the cost of the part. That is such a damn scam!

Most recently, Wes and Ethan fixed our boiler system and installed a new thermostat.We called Blue Sky as our upstairs was extremely hot and we were unable to lower the temperature- Blue Sky was able to schedule a visit for the very next morning.Wes and Ethan were professional, knowledgeable, and helped me feel like we were making the best decision for not only that day, but also the future. They were efficient and helpful in explaining their process/what they were doing.I know we can count on Blue Sky, and we would welcome Wes & Ethan (or anyone else from Blue Sky) back anytime - although, I hope that their expertise isn't needed anytime soon!

I absolutely love being able to work with a service that allows me to set it and forget it. JD's provides me with timely customer service for those gentle reminders that with the turn of a season, my system likely needs a quick servicing. Daniel the professional that came out? Straight up awesome. Professional, friendly, detail orientated, and I never felt like for one second I was being upsold on something I truly didn't need. I would give 4.5 stars but apparently that's not an option. We had an electrician come out on Easter Sunday. He fixed our bad breakers. He was efficient and knowledable.

We have been in this house for 20+ years and took on some major plumbing issues unknowingly when we bought the house, needless to say we have been through our fair share of plumbers. We finally found an outfit we plan to stick with. These guys were awesome! they made every effort to make this as pleasant and affordable as possible.They left my laundry room cleaner then they found it! Ben was such an easy person to work with, what a pleasure it was! I give them a 5 star rating because they left us thoroughly impressed! I highly recommend them!

I would highly recommend Simpson water heater repair. I called them late at night when our water heater broke and they were extremely helpful. Very fair priced, on time and went above and beyond to make sure we had our water heater replaced right way.
