I’ve been arguing with myself on whether or not to post this, but I feel like my experience has been less than spectacular. I called Drain Terrier last week to come and give me a quote for replacing some floor drains (as they kept backing up and the drains have seen better days). When I called, I was promptly scheduled for a mid-morning appointment. Lisa and Savannah were both super nice and professional. Fast forward to the day of the appointment. I get a call about 30 minutes before my appointment that other jobs are taking longer than expected and was asked if we could move my appointment back (understandable, and I mean, I get it). So my appointment was moved back by a few hours. This happened one more time that day and my technicians, Gary and another, finally came around 4-5 pm. They were friendly and courteous and listened to what I was concerned about. They didn’t have the proper equipment with them to scope my floor drains so we scheduled another appointment for the following day. The next day, Gary and a different guy, show up right on time and with the right equipment. They quickly scoped my floor drains and found two really bad dips and really bad scaling/corrosion within the cast iron and recommended replacing all cast iron in my basement. I requested a quote for that and they mentioned that I would receive the scope video in my email shortly after my appointment. Fast forward a week, my sewer has backed up a couple more times and I’ve had a couple other plumbers out to give me quotes (doing my due diligence, they’re actually pretty competitively priced) and I still have not received a scope video. I’ve called and been told twice that “we will have it to you by the end of the day.” We will see if I actually ever get it. Due to the issues above, I would probably not recommend this company to a friend nor use their services again.

I had my water heater go out on Christmas Eve, just when it seemed as if no other plumbers were able to get to me soon enough! After nearly exhausting my efforts, Sean with Park Hill Plumbers called me back and talked me through how to turn off the main water so the water would stop shooting out until he got here. He didn't have to but he took the time to help me clean up all the water. He came back Christmas Day and swapped out my water heater. He was very kind and professional. Surprisingly reasonable for it being an emergency on a Holiday. I had to recommend Park Hill Plumbers to my neighbors, its rare people go above and beyond these days!

Thomas is amongst one of the most professional contractors we have had the pleasure to work with. He was on time, up front, patient, but most of all, he demonstrated the utmost integrity. When we were required to make changes to our plumbing for inspections, he honored his commitment to us and came back to make all changes, even if they weren’t his fault, to ensure the job was done right and complete. His excellent work and knowledge of best practices, laws and regulations received high praise from our inspectors. We were so thankful to find Thomas and look forward to working with him more in the future.

All the people that came out were fantastic, I would recommend them to anyone. They took care of everything from my plumbing to some electrical work.

This winter our heater stopped working in the middle of a deep freeze. Our repair guy couldn’t come until Monday so we called Horizon in a pinch. Such a waste of money. All the kid did was give a diagnosis but did nothing to repair and told us we needed a $500 evaluation to know for sure. He acted really nervous when giving his sales pitch to my husband and I. We were disappointed he didn’t get the heating back on with it being about 15 degrees outside. I now know why he was nervous.

There was a simple override switch he could have pushed to get the heat on for the night. He knowingly looked at a toddler and pregnant woman and left us in a freezing house for the night.

The next day our regular repair man had the heat going in 5 mins!

Months later I now know what the Horizon guy did with his time in our utility room. He labeled every pipe and machine with advertising for Horizon. Hot pink labels with “call Horizon” were everywhere. I don’t regularly examine the utility room so it took a while to nice the blatant advertising job. The other day I found yet another sticker on the hot water heater.

Don’t waste your money paying them to advertise in your own home, and getting them to just up-sale you a problem that doesn’t exist without fixing the one that does.

I've been using Plumbline for 2 1/2 years - always great service. Yesterday we had Dave Godfrey come by for a plumbing repair and he was fantastic. He went above and beyond with his knowledge of plumbing and discovered a way to repair our leak in the basement without cutting into the ceiling. He took the time to brainstorm a better repair method and it worked flawlessly. He is very experienced and knowledgeable at what he does. If we have plumbing repairs in the future; I will be asking for him specifically. Thank you Dave!

Asked to repair a leak in my tub and the leak wasn’t fixed, “plumber” also couldn’t find the water pipe to shut the water and I told him to come back another day so I could ask management to show me exactly where the pipe was and he insisted he could find it and ended up not fixing the leak and destroying the framing around my house on top of not fixing my leak . Charge me 50 just to damage my home even more even gave him $10 tip just to end up with more damages to fix now !

Update: Did get called back with apology and work was ultimately completed. Crew was professional and friendly. I would hire again, based on the crew’s work quality, but would talk upfront very clearly about expectations on timing.

Very polite over the phone - but sent crew a month ago to make small parts list after repeated calls to set that up. They thought they could even do the job that day. They've never come back. Follow up calls have zero results. Today's call was going to be returned with schedule details - but never was. If you can't or don't want the work - have the integrity and honesty to tell the customer upfront.

Jeff fixed my emergency leak on a tight schedule, explained things thoroughly, and had very transparent pricing! Highly recommend him.
