When I realized that the problem was something that I could fix myself, they only charged me a nominal amount for the service call. Their expertise and clear explanation saved me hundreds of dollars (not to mention equipping me with the knowledge I needed to fix the problem). I would highly recommend them.

I've been meaning to leave this review for over a year, but better late than never! During a huge storm here in Columbus, when we later learned that thousands of people had sump pump failure and basement flooding, ours began to flood around 11 in the evening. When we contacted Benjamin Franklin, they were at our house in less than an hour, even though it was nearly midnight by that point. The gentleman turned out to be the owner, who had been working nonstop all evening and said he'd probably continue to work until the early hours of the AM. Still he was polite and professional, and worked quickly. He showed us what had failed and explained how he was replacing/repairing things, and then, he waved his after-hours fee without us even asking.
The next day, I noticed that when the sump pump finished each cycle, there was a hissing sound, and small amount of water escaping from the seal. I called, and they were again out very quickly and fixed it for no additional charge. We've yet to need a plumber again, but we will undoubtedly be calling them when the time comes.

Posted need on social media & response with quote was within minutes! Work completed early next morning enabling me to still travel as planned.

He was very transparent with us about our options and helped us figure out what repairs to make now if we plan to fully remodel the tub/shower in the next few years. He even talked us through what his recommendations would be when we decide to make those bigger updates. He wasn’t trying to upsell and gave us honest feedback based on what he could see throughout his estimate. He was able to get the work done the same day he came out to perform the estimate which worked out perfectly. Trevor was very professional and with the quality of service we received, we’re confident we found our guy for all our future plumbing needs.
