Zach did a tremendous job in handling the emergency replacement of my garbage disposal. He came on a Sunday within hours of my call. The quick response and professionalism was off the charts. I am also going to use the company for extensive projects I have in my home based on Zach's recommendations.

Called when he was on his way. Showed up on time. Very professional. Quick repair and then was able to locate another major leak and gave an estimate. Worth every penny!

The Local Plumber communicates well, responds quickly, and does a great job explaining what needs to be done and what doesn't need to be done. You never feel like you're being ripped off or scammed, but that you know exactly the problem and the solution, and he fixes it quickly.

We emailed Antwan on Monday and he was able to come Wednesday (not an emergency repair). He was on time, super professional, and did an excellent repair on the pipes beneath our kitchen sink. The price was super reasonable and less than we even expected. Would definitely recommend and we will be calling him again for future repairs!

Our basement drain was overflowing into our basement and it was a horrible awful mess and smelled terribly, it was totally unexpected and can be extremely costly as some of you may already know. I called A BETTER DRAIN , and I left a message and it was just minutes when I got a text that he would call me shortly and he did just that. I talked with the owner STACEY SAVAGE, within a 1/2 hr. after I made the call. I explained the problem we were having, and that my husband had been off work, and with the pandemic and and the holiday's funds were very slim. he was out to our house the next day, he didn't even charge us to assess the problem, and left to go and get his equipment. Stacey was very professional, and understanding, he is VERY knowledgeable and he kept his fees to the minimum. We HIGHLY recommend him to any one who has a plumbing issue, his willingness to work with someone just out of common decency and desire to help someone in need is by far the best I've seen in a long time....THANKS STACEY. I called Gary (owner) on a sat afternoon Memorial Day weekend. He was at a current job, but assured me he would drive across town to help me out when he was finished. He showed up by 6pm to my home and worked on a clogged pipe under my sink that was leaking everywhere . He was extremely professional and friendly . He fixed my issue and gave me some great advise. Called this plumber for sewer cleaning service. He came in the promised time, reacted quickly and did the sewer cleaning within half an hour. Very good!

So thrilled that i called calhoun after messing around with far too many other companies who were either incompetent or wanted an arm and two legs.

We've done business with you for 15+ years, but no more. Our last transaction we were charged for a garbage disposal without giving prior approval for the repair. We called them to repair a leaky sink at our rental property. No call from them about needing to replace the disposal, which we were charged over $200 for something that we would pay $110 at Home Depot. AND, we already had a replacement disposal on site for emergencies. If they would have called, they could have used that one and saved us $200. When we called about the bill, we were told that they never call about the repair before doing it. We can't afford to do business this way. Good thing there wasn't a crack in the sink because who knows how much they would have charged to replace that...with no call. Very disappointing.
