Best Drain Installation And Repair in Columbus OH

Recently had a main drain issue in my older home. After contacting 3 different plumber/drain cleaning companies, whose estimates were ridiculous, a neighbor recommended Chuck Ball, owner of CCG. Chuck came to my home....after hours on a Friday night and after working all day and assured me he would take care of the problem. He had to return to his shop for the water pressurized snake, needed to clear the drain properly. His professionalism, knowledge and caring efficiency was amazing. The actual clearing only took about 10 minutes, not the hours others had estimated it would take, including digging up my yard. The blockage was in my basement main drain U joint pipe, not my aeration system! Not only was I delighted with his attitude and work ethic, but with the more than reasonable cost. Can't give him enough kudos!! Hire this company!

I found these guys through the internet. We had them replace our failing septic line from the house to the tank. This involved a lot of digging, cutting of concrete and other issues they could not have envisioned. But they stuck to the original estimate with no surprises. In fact they did more than they said they would.

All I can say is they were responsive, professional, pleasant and polite, and very cost effective when compared with larger companies. And given the scope of their estimate mirrored what larger companies were quoting me, a difference of 3000 from the “Eco” bunch that seemed so popular…using them was a no brainer. But I’d call them again in a minute.

They also cleaned up after themselves. Many contractors don’t. So that’s a big deal!

I’d recommend these guys any day.

After the freakish cold spell in December (2022), several of our pipes shattered despite us dripping the faucets. Turns out the handymen that flipped our new house didn't do things correctly or to code. Surprise surprise!

I had worked with Trevor a couple times before when we first moved into the house in March 2022. It was very glad that I had his number still in my phone because he was able to come over the next day to get everything remedied. He had to completely repipe probably about half the piping in our house. Thorough, honest, and friendly to work with. I'm hoping we're all set for a bit, but I'm glad to have him on call just in case!

I use this company for all plumbing issues I have. They do an excellent job, their prices are reasonable, and they don't try to push you into doing work you don't need. They saved me money today by explaining that the service they thought I needed is now the service I don't need. I can absolutely recommend them.

I had a great experience with Jack Woods. Called at 8:30am with an outdoor faucet that broke and it was replaced and operational by 11am.

With parts, taxes, and the heater it came to $1141.00, and plumbers to help pick it up a city away and then carry it into our home for installation, they carried out the old heater after disconnecting it, then it took another quick trip to the store to pick-up more parts to reroute the pipes for the new heater, and then about an hour to install. It was an unusual job and an unusually large water heater. We had to go with a commercial size electric water heater to match our old one. The total time they spent from the moment he decided to go pick-up the heater to the point where the heater was cleaned up and installed was 4 hrs on a holiday. Labor for the emergency ran us up an additional $1720.00, but I believe it was a kindness given the emergency of the situation and our special needs household. Thank you again for your time and kind hearts.

They team that came out were great! Very friendly yet professional and more importantly very thorough. They identified the problem and offered a solution immediately. They found some other possible issues and offered suggestions and will be getting me a quote for those repairs

Had same day service for the same price I was quoted by another company who couldn’t do the work for two weeks. Came as scheduled, did the work as stated.

My Richmond water heater failed under warranty and Richmond made arrangements for A 3 Aces to fix the water heater when the replacement part arrived at my home. The part arrived on a Saturday around noon, and I called A 3 Aces at that time and they said they could install the part Sunday morning. Mike from A 3 Aces arrived during the time promised and quickly replaced the part and explained to me what he done. Overall A 3 Aces service was prompt, courteous in person and on the phone, and efficient. I was surprised there was no fuss about doing the work on Sunday. Based on this experience, I would recommend A 3 Aces.

Bought a new home and the city told me I needed to get backflow testing. D&L did the prior tests on the home, so I gave them a call. I was told they would call the city to inform them it was being taken care of and that I would be put on the schedule. A couple of weeks later, the city shows up, telling me my water is about to be shut-off and they had never heard from D&L.

TLDR; my water almost got shut off because D&L didn't follow through on anything they had promised.

My water tank ruptured late at night. Tony took my call, helped me temporarily solve my flooding issue, and then arrived promptly the next morning to install a new tank. He and Sean were totally helpful and professional. Highly recommend.

So many people wrote not to use this company and if I could give 0 stars I would. I have never seen a company care so little about doing their job. You pay them to come into your home and do nothing.

I had someone come in to fix a toilet. Second time already. It runs water continuously into the bowl after a few flushes, so we keep the valve off.

First guy goes in. Is there for just about 10 minutes. Says he fixed it and it was parts put in incorrectly. I'm cool with it, happy to have a working toilet finally. About three flushes in and the same thing happens again.

I call and then send a Drake out to fix it. I thank him for being there. Maybe 3 or so minutes in he's got the valve on, sitting on the bowl of the toilet with the lid closed looking at the back and he says nothing is wrong with the toilet so he can't fix anything. I. Was. Baffled. This man hasn't flushed the toilet once, he's just sitting on the bowl the water runs into not even looking at it, and with his expertise claims there is no issue. Okay.

I tell him there definitely is. I wouldn't call someone to fix a toilet if it's not broken. Maybe some people do? I personally am not into that. Maybe he just doesn't know. He tells me again he can't do anything to fix it. At this point I'm done. Some people only have one toilet and if this is the kind of professional they get they will never be able to use it.

People need their plumbing to work for everyday needs. It's really not something I can just not use. I told him I pay for a reason and I really just need him to do his job. He left anyway, not fixing a single thing. He was rude the whole time. He clearly didn't care about his job. I could be a better plumber than he is because at least I know to flush a toilet before saying there isn't an issue.

If you value your time and money, don't use this company. My personal experience left the impression that they only care about saying they did a job when they really didn't.
