Called about my leaking water heater. The plumber showed up exactly at the scheduled time. Every question I asked was answered with plenty of detail (I was curious about the trade-offs of tankless and electric water-heaters). The plumber was punctual, polite, patient, and obviously passionate about his work. He performed above and beyond, not just replacing the water heater, but making changes for robustness and convenience (the gas line valve was tucked back in a corner behind the water heater, and he moved it out so it could actually be reached, as well as a few other small changes to fix cramped valve placements), and also gave me advice about changes I need to make to my carbon monoxide detector placement in order to pass inspection. Although appearance isn't a priority, I have to say that I am pleased with the way the work looks visually, too. It looks clean and professional; leaps beyond the way it looked before.

As somebody who works for a small company, I always try to gravitate toward small local businesses for my needs. Sometimes you get burned by lazy amateurs, but it's worth it to find local driven professionals who take serious pride in their work.

Mark worked with my schedule and came out on a Sunday evening to look at my water heater. He did a great job cleaning it and was very polite and helpful when he was explaining everything to me. Price was great too, highly recommended!

We live in a rental and the landlord had a humidifier replaced in the spring of 2011. Unfortunately, HVAC Solutions did not install the drain line properly for two reasons. First, they didn't allow enough slack as it was wrapped around the plenum, so it crimped over time. Second, they did not route the drain line so it gravity fed properly. At a low humidity setting it worked fine. However, when we turned up the humidity to higher level the humidifier did not drain fast enough. As a result it backed up and partially flooded the mechanical room. Fortunately, we caught it before it caused too much damage. I personally checked the drain line and it was NOT clogged. It backed up was due to the two reasons I stated earlier. The technician came to the house (Jan 2013) and CONFIRMED my diagnosis. He agreed that the line was NOT clogged, but needed to re-routed to avoid the kink and allow it to gravity feed properly to the floor drain. This was obviously an initial installation problem.

The landlord told me he was charged for the service call. I personally contacted the manager because I thought this was totally unfair. The manager told me the line had clogged due to sentiment, which caused the flooding. I told him this was not the case and stated the reasons above, which were CONFIRMED by the technician. He disagreed with me, but told me he would speak to the owner. He called me back and let me know that they would not reimburse our landlord for the service because the line was clogged.

Wow! This REALLY surprised me, since the technician saw that the drain line was NOT clogged! I was with the technician when he corrected the problem. Again, he verbalized that the drain was NOT clogged. Since he rerouted the drain line, the humidifier has worked fine. This to me is an integrity issue and a total disregard for customer service. Therefore, I rated them as one star and WOULD NOT recommend this HVAC company to anyone.

I am in Florida and my disabled brother lives in Colorado Springs. Every time there is a maintenance problem at his home, I panic. Inevitably, companies take advantage of him and in a sense me because I’m not there to arm chair quarterback what they are doing! I don’t say this lightly...How REFRESHING it was to work with Sean and One Source Home. Not only did Sean treat my brother as a “normal” adult. He was respectful of my brothers concerns and endless questions. Sean explained everything. Laid out my brothers options and worked out a very doable budget. Never knowing that he has a sister who was going to double check that the company wasn’t taking advantage. When all was done. My brother got me on the phone to talk to Sean and Sean had to explain all over what was necessary to fix the problem. Many get frustrated or say I just told him what we were doing. Blah blah blah. Not Sean!What a concept...a business that truly cares about their customers....a business that is trustworthy...a business that is thorough.!!!
