We have relied on Cincinnati Arch Plumbing Experts as our go-to plumbing company for a number of years, and they have never let us down. The team's commitment to provide top-notch plumbing services is sincerely admirable.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!! We were totally dissatisfied with this company, and we will NEVER recommend them to anyone!After our kitchen faucet began hammering from turning on the cold water valve, we called Thos. & Galbraith. The faucet was only one year old, and was a hi end device we had purchased from Kidel in Norwood, so it was under warranty.The first repairman from T&G who showed up was Mike. He charged us $100 for the service call, which we expected. After checking the problem, he informed us that he would return to install the manufacturer's replacement parts when they arrived, but he also mentioned that it would be necessary for him to rerun/replace the pipes under our sink that would run about $900 to $1,000 extra. We agreed to notify him as soon as our parts arrived from the company. He did share that there would not be a second $100 service charge when he returned.It took several weeks to receive the manufacturer's parts. When they arrived we called back to T&G to let Mike know. No response from Mike! We actually called three times, and never ended up with Mike again. It was Steve who finally arrived, as Mike was nowhere to be found. (We've come to learn this company is not local. It's out of Indianapolis.)Upon Steve's arrival, he proceeded to take (assumed) pictures of the water pressure valves outside the house. He came into our home showing us the pics on his phone, claiming our water pressure was extremely high. He stated it was 120 psi when it should be in the 70 range. We were shocked. Then, good old Steve proceeded to say our pipes MIGHT have been damaged, due to the high pressure. Also, he'd need a return visit scheduled for a team to cut a hole in our wall. He related this information before he advised a brand new water tank, of course. We felt for certain we'd need a regulator, but after all these unexpected requirements he claimed we needed, we were stimied. Steve left with the idea that we would purchase a $4700 package, but not once did he even look at our replacement parts for the kitchen faucet, nor did he check under the sink! However, he did say that after the new water tank was in, if the hammering issue continued, to call him back then he'd replace the parts. Wow! Talk about an upsale. Steve sure was convincing, we'll give him that, but after his departure, nothing made sense.Luckily, there are still reputable plumbers in Cincinnati. We contacted a local company from Anderson Township who came to check on the situation, and his reading of the water pressure was only 50 psi. There was no damage of the pipes, and he replaced the manufacturer's parts promptly, and found there was no truth to the claim that our kitchen sink pipes needed to be rerun. His charge: $225.00, a vast difference from T&G!This is a perfect example of how companies try to scam senior citizens. My advice: do your homework and look for the reputable plumbers who operate with honesty and integrity. Thomas & Galbraith is NOT one of those companies.

Highly recommend Tarvin Plumbing. Moved into my condo and needed their service because my new washing machine was flooding the laundry room. They took care of the plumbing and then also explained to me the way the washer was set up incorrectly. The other company hadn't locked my machine and did a poor job with my dryer vent hose too. He told me exactly what to say to them and how to approach it. My experience with Tarvin's was very professional and I would recommend them to anyone.

They came back and fixed the bad concrete and filled in the holes that were left in the ground. They made it right though.

They were able to fix my issue the same day I called them. The plumber was very knowledgeable about plumbing, was able to give me some education on my houses pipes and the best way to take care of them. I appreciated the timeliness, professionalism and respectful service! Definitely will use again!

We had a clogged main that had sewage backing up into our basement. Dylan came over early for the appointment. He was very professional and clean. He was able to clear the clog quickly, with no mess. We will definitely use them again.

Our bathtub drain pipe, which was embedded in concrete above our dining room, burst. We were told that we would need to jackhammer our bathroom floor out to get to it. Then Eric arrived, and knew how to get to the pipe from below. It took him two days, when we feared it may take several weeks. He was great and did the job in the time and at the same cost as he initially quoted. We went from having a very bad accident to a very positive experience. Thanks, Eric!

Contacted via Angi for repair/replace of water heater. Spoke with Eric Warner 3 times prior to him responding to my home for an estimate. At no point during those conversations did he mention a $129.00 Trip charge. No other contractor requested a charge for an estimate. If you contact or are contacted by American Rooter, be sure to enquire about a fee for an estimate. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB and Angi.

Randy from G&R plumbing charges outrageous prices. He took advantage of my 80 year old mother. He charged her over $141.00 to fix a handle on her toilet. I was out of the state or I would have fixed it in 5 minutes after buying the $5.00 part.

She could have bought a new toilet for that price. I told her to never call him again and to also warn her friends.

This is not the first time I have heard that he overcharges people.
