Joe has been one of 2 servicemen we know we can count on. No matter how busy he is if your problem is urgent he will come right away. Other work is always done in a methodical manner and he rarely needs to leave to get parts or take breaks. In remodeling an old Victorian Joe has been indispensable. He’s become like extended family thanks to his friendly outgoing personality!

I asked them to fix a leak, they first charged $350 said they will get it fixed, after the tech left the part its still leaking, I called them but they said I need to pay $1500 extra to get the tech to come back and fix the leak, if I don't pay that they will still charge me $350 for fixing nothing, then they threaten me if I don't pay the $350 they will send their debt collection on my way. (Later on I got another quote for fixing/replacing the part for only cost around $500)

Had a bunch of roots in my pipe, joe and conner were the two people sent to clear them out. They were very helpful, personable, and informative. Whoever is in charge of raises, keep these two in mind! I'll be using this service again for sure.

While the tech did get the ac filled with coolant, he was EXTREMELY adamant that we drop 12k on a new furnace and heat pump. He went outside to make a call, not realizing my husband could hear him talking, where he proceded to call someone and gossip/complain that he couldnt sell us a new furnace and heat pump. Tech made a snarky comment about us being the 1 in 10 whose issue was resolved by just filling with coolant.This is predatory behavior and I will never recommend these people or use them again. How many people have been swindled into buying new furnaces and heat pumps that they didnt need because they listened to this tech (and probably many others employed by the same company)?

Initially service person came out to diagnose the problem with kitchen faucet, which he did quickly. Needed a new faucet replacement. The appointment for the replacement was scheduled for Friday, though the repairman had extra time on Wednesday, and installed the new faucet 2 days ahead of schedule. All works great. Work was done very well.

Steve S has done a superb job on my water heater replacement today. My 15 year-old Rheem water heater was leaking and end of life. I am so lucky to have him for a free consultation without
any trip charge (some companies charge $75 trip fee for just a consultation). Steve is very knowledgeable and highly experienced professional plumber to make sure that the installation meets the State Code. He explained rationals, added the drain pan and expansion tank which were absent in the previous installation (some company quoted me extra $150 to have an expansion tank installed), screwed all vent pipe together, lined gas pipes without any angle stress, secured the expansion tank, hauled away my leaking water tank without mess, and made sure my new heater working fine. He has my new water heater installed in a professional way starting from consultation to the end of work. Steve has more than 35 years of plumber experience, very nice and patient, teaching me and answering me many questions on the tools and materials which I love to learn. It is really a pleasure to have him and enjoyed all his beautiful work. Reasonable price for excellent work!!! I would like to hire him again and recommend his service to anyone who has plumbing needs.

Contacted via Angi for repair/replace of water heater. Spoke with Eric Warner 3 times prior to him responding to my home for an estimate. At no point during those conversations did he mention a $129.00 Trip charge. No other contractor requested a charge for an estimate. If you contact or are contacted by American Rooter, be sure to enquire about a fee for an estimate. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB and Angi.
