We had an emergency plumbing issue at our rental property. It was such a relief from the initial call to the completion of the repair to speak with competent, efficient professionals. The dispatcher (do not recall name but she was lovely) and our technician Devin kept me in the loop and made me feel comfortable asking questions so I could not only address repair but other identified issues at a later time. It turned out the membership fee offset the emergency and call fee, so I now have a year to continue to utilize my membership and make sure we address some issues that came to light with this one.

Andrew did an a fantastic job, identifying, fixing, and replacing several aged and missing components of the 37 year old plumbing system in our double wide. He arrived on-time, was professional, and his work looks fantastic. His communication was excellent and there were no suprises on the work he performed. Andrew did identify a new leak in a repair job previously done by Jolly and confirmed it was covered under warranty. He came back the next morning and fixed that also.

As the homeowner of a house that is well over 100 years old, the charm of it is matched by the not so fun surprise repairs that pop up from time to time. We have used Wingate for maintenance since moving in and recently needed to replace the AC unit. Wingate representative Aaron was the perfect person to help us with this substantial investment. Our water heater started leaking on a Saturday. Went to Lowes on Sunday to look at new ones and they connected us with Five Star Home Services. Sean came out on Sunday for a free estimate (other companies wanted to charge us for that). After several estimates, Five Star was the most reasonable, but provided 10-year warranty on new water heater, parts, and labor (no one else came close to that). Once we agreed, they had a team out first thing the following morning. We were told that 2 workers could take 3 hours of labor. They removed the old, updated connections, installed the new and were in and out in less than an hour. Professional, efficient, and a pleasure to work with all through the process.

Steve and Ryan did an excellent job in the repair/replacement of our failed drain lines in the kitchen and bathroom through the basement bathroom to the main drain stack of our 60 year old house. They were extremely professional and courteous and they explained everything they were doing. We couldn’t be happier with the quality and service!

I have never actually used their services. However, their customer service is phenomenal. I was stranded in the middle of the night after I ran over something in the road and it put a hole in my transmission, draining all of the fluid. Two guys in a TJ Dyer truck not only stopped and assisted me, but went out of their way to ensure that I was left in a safe place. If they are that helpful to a complete stranger on a dark road, I can only imagine how they treat their paying customers.
