Our plumber Cormac was one of the friendliest and most helpful people we have come across when dealing with home repairs. We had a leak in our basement near the main shut off valve but unfortunately in order to do any work on it Cormac would need to shut the main water line off via the buffalo box. This proved to be harder than it normally would be due to a tree growing over the buffalo box. Cormac helped us call the city and walked us through exactly what would need to happen. Well of course this process dragged on and on thanks to the City of Chicago taking their sweet time. Cormac would email us every other day to get the progress on the tree removal, he never forgot about us. Unfortunately while waiting for this tree to get removed we had another problem arise in our basement due to a clogged sewer line, we had water soaking thru our carpet. We called Cormac right away and he was able to come by the next day. He inspected the problem and gave us multiple solutions. In the end he needed to rod the sewer line (tree roots of course), he walked us through the entire process, never once leaving us in the dark. The next day he even emailed us to make sure our basement was dry and had no new water. Finally the city cut down the tree and repaired the buffalo box, Cormac was at our house the next day making repairs to the water line. He was at our house less than 2 hours. Dealing with home repairs is always frustrating but Cormac was the absolute best. He is a very trustworthy person, he put himself in our shoes. I can not thank him enough.

very good work, Brian was very nice and friendly and helpful. A little higher than I expected, but average for a plumber's fee. I would use Rocket Plumbing again.

I've worked with Jesus and his team twice, both times great service and professionalism. We had a clogged drain line last year that they inspected and hydrojetted, they also found a broken pipe (luckily it was on the city's side). They helped with the repair permit and with showing the broken pipe to the city inspector. We used them again this year for camera and root removal. Great team, definitely recommend!

Initially I reached out to Rob's shop because they were local and I like the idea of working with small businesses. Unfortunately, that is what plagued them in the end.
My needs were not an urgent plumbing matter- my shower only dispensed really hot water, borderline scalding, which is not pleasant to use, but I've been dealing with it for a few months now.
After playing some phone tag to reach them, I was able to explain my needs to Ralph. He promised he would call me back the next day with a quote on the work and to schedule a time to come out. Three days later I still had not received a follow-up call. I called in and had to re-explain my needs to a different guy, but ultimately he had to have Ralph call me back to schedule a time.
We scheduled them to come out on a Wednesday morning. I took the morning off of work to be home while they worked. They said they would be there between 7-7:30 and didn't show until 8:30. After taking my shower apart, they informed me they did not have the right part and needed to visit their supplier and would have to take my part with them. They also informed me that it could not be done in the same day and they would have to come back tomorrow. There was also the chance that it would be a different technician. I was not very comfortable with the idea that the guy who would be putting it back together was not the same person who took it apart.
It was the end of the day and I still had not heard from Ralph about when they would be coming out the next morning - I'll have to take off from work then too. I called in and Ralph informed me that they do not have enough guys to send out tomorrow and would have to wait until at least Friday before they could come out. This puts me without a usable shower for 2 days. They did eventually complete the job and which was satisfactory.
Bottom line is they are a small shop and they operate like one. Their prices were a little high. You might expect a lower price given they have less overhead than a bigger company.

I would highly recommend the entire 24 HR Emergency Plumber Chicago INC for standing with me when I had no one to run to. They were able to arrive on time and took care of the pipe that had just burst.

There's a lack of professionalism and etiquette with this company. They are not communicating with each other effectively within the organization so I spent a lot of time repeating myself. Also the technician that called me to confirm was rude. I decided to go with another company.

The plumbing repair required two visits, but Ian was capable and courteous. He added shoe covers just before entering our condo then located the problem, explained the problem and what he would need to do.With two bathrooms and a laundry room we have used Goode for a number of plumbing repairs and plan on continuing to use their service.

Absolutely amazing.
We just moved in April so we were unsurprised there were plumbing issues after move in. We had a plumbing company that did other work but when they said it was 4k to fix a clogged pipe after looking at it for two minutes, my Ma suggested this company as a second opinion (she always uses them!). I was ready to pay 4k because I thought that the pipe would cost that much.
Glad I got a second opinion! Turns out they didn’t go as far as Matt did.
Matt was super professional and courteous. He went really far down the pipeline to clear debris from the previous owner and he took the time and care to make sure that was the issue. He explained everything to me and also got the job done in about two hours. Our plumbing works great now. Also, they are incredibly affordable, too. A++ 12/10 — found our permanent plumber now :)
