Best Toilet Repair in Chicago IL

We have used Rescue Plumbing for both the building and our individually owned units. They are always professional and efficient. The staff is very accommodating and explain the issue and repairs in detail. Pete and Noah have been great to work with.

Extremely knowledgeable. Rescue Plumbing has helped me on several occasions. Inspecting gas lines, installing a range, and helping reconfigure my basement plumbing when a big issue came up. They've always been on time, or have communicated & made things right if an unavoidable issue came up (in one case a medical emergency affecting on of their best plumbers that was scheduled. Joey is awesome.)

I had a really complicated issue in the basement, and they were great about diagnostics & next steps to make the system legal and lasting. A big thank you.

Tom was very professional. He answered every question I had and educated me in the process of what the plan was to repair our plumbing issue. We called in the morning and he was out at our home within a few hours.

Did well. Prompt. Knowledgeable. Good installation. Drawback: expensive - was a bit too much for installation. I bought the unit at Home Depot. The installation cost with Toto-rooter was way too much.

Nick and Nick did an outstanding job of helping us determine the best approach to handling the necessary repairs in our condo. We decided to replace the bathroom faucets (instead of replace valves) and we were very happy with the many discounts that were offered if we wanted to do it right. An exception was made for service in the south Loop because of the recommendation by Noel at 5plumbingchicago and I am beyond grateful given the results.

Jesus was awesome. Right after moving in to our new house, we had water backup in our basement. He assessed the situation, tested it the ejector pump, and determined it was just a stuck valve most likely due to having not been used in so long prior to us moving in. He said it if happened again we could just jiggle the pipe to dislodge the valve. He tested it a few times and it DID WORK. He said if I still wanted, he could open it up and look but I decided his verdict was good enough for me. He said it was NO CHARGE and wouldn't accept payment even though I tried to insist. He was really great at explaining everything to me since I know very little about plumbing or sewer issues. He was awesome and will definitely be our go-to guy for this stuff from now on.

First Chicago Plumbing caused damage to our shower faucet by not taking the necessary measures while working on another unit in our building. They also lied about what measures could be taken to prevent the issue. Quoting First Chicago Plumbing's response:
Shower faucets do not have stop valves so there was no way to shut them off.
when the fact is there are valves at the water entry points (hot and cold) to the bathroom.
Since then they have been uncooperative and haven't provided insurance details upon multiple requests from the condo association. It is extremely unprofessional of a plumbing company to run away from their responsibilities after causing damage due to their own negligence and then be uncooperative in providing proof of insurance. Stay away from this company since they run away when things don't go right.

Very happy with this company. I found them randomly through google after I found a random puddle of water on the floor around my toilet. They answered and sent someone out immediately. Greg called before he got to my house and was very nice, respectful, and understanding of my situation. He figured out the problem, fixed it quickly, and explained everything to me in simple terms.I am definitely going to use this company again, I highly recommend it!
