Best Sump Pumps Replacement in Chicago IL

Selling my home and needed a sump pump repair following an inspection. The owner had a tech out immediately to have the pump inspected. Cody, the tech, was very professional, friendly, and quick to find the problem. The repair was scheduled immediately, for a low price. I was not charged for the initial inspection either! I would 100% recommend this company! I will not be using any other company in the future other than Roter Rooter for my plumbing needs.

Initially I reached out to Rob's shop because they were local and I like the idea of working with small businesses. Unfortunately, that is what plagued them in the end.

My needs were not an urgent plumbing matter- my shower only dispensed really hot water, borderline scalding, which is not pleasant to use, but I've been dealing with it for a few months now.

After playing some phone tag to reach them, I was able to explain my needs to Ralph. He promised he would call me back the next day with a quote on the work and to schedule a time to come out. Three days later I still had not received a follow-up call. I called in and had to re-explain my needs to a different guy, but ultimately he had to have Ralph call me back to schedule a time.

We scheduled them to come out on a Wednesday morning. I took the morning off of work to be home while they worked. They said they would be there between 7-7:30 and didn't show until 8:30. After taking my shower apart, they informed me they did not have the right part and needed to visit their supplier and would have to take my part with them. They also informed me that it could not be done in the same day and they would have to come back tomorrow. There was also the chance that it would be a different technician. I was not very comfortable with the idea that the guy who would be putting it back together was not the same person who took it apart.

It was the end of the day and I still had not heard from Ralph about when they would be coming out the next morning - I'll have to take off from work then too. I called in and Ralph informed me that they do not have enough guys to send out tomorrow and would have to wait until at least Friday before they could come out. This puts me without a usable shower for 2 days. They did eventually complete the job and which was satisfactory.

Bottom line is they are a small shop and they operate like one. Their prices were a little high. You might expect a lower price given they have less overhead than a bigger company.

Chicagoland plumbing was quick and informative. Their friendly tech came on time and was able to quickly find the source of our leak and explained the problem and solution in a friendly, understandable manner. Would 100% use them in the future!

I can't thank John and Andrew for their excellent work. Our boiler needed to have a pipe replaced and other work. John and Andrew came on time and completely dismantled the boiler. They explained what they were doing and the thoroughly cleaned, replaced and restored everything back to working order. Along the way they explained what they were doing and why and they were very thorough. They cleaned up the area after their work and then some, the area looked much better than when they came in. The informatioin they provided was invaluable. I can't wait to have them back this Fall to start up the boiler for the coming year. They are the best. The price we were charged for this work was very resonable, too.

Highly recommended! Amazing job! Brandon came over to give us an estimate for a toilet repair and some slow drains. He ended up staying and doing the repair is less than an hour. He also offered great advice on cleaning and maintaining our garbage disposal.

Had a plumbing emergency which was taken care of quickly and professionally! Eric made sure everything being done was explained and they had the issue resolved in no time! Would definitely use this company again!!

They trick you into using them because they are fast to respond when most plumbers aren’t. But then they are very expensive and I felt taken advantage of. I consulted on them for several plumbing and hvac and sump pump issues. They took my money for a sump pump evaluation but then never followed up with a recommendation. The hvac they took my money for an eval but then wouldn’t take work to repair it since the AC was on the roof. So I had to pay someone else later to do the same inspection and then repair. They fixed the toilet but the fix never stuck, needless to say I did not have them back to fix it again. My garbage disposal and sink had an issue which they traced back to the battery but only told me it was the battery after I paid nearly $400. I felt like they kept trying to up-sell me for every issue with erroneous services but since we just moved into this older home I needed help getting things up and running. In retrospect I realize I was ripped off.

On a Saturday He was able to come out to my home within 30 minutes to remove an object from my toilet for a reasonable price as well! So convenient and cheaper than Majority Plumbing Services! I recommend Henry! Friendly customer service!

I called Kuhn Plumbing because I needed help with the leak coming from the ceiling. 2 plumbers arrived and inspected the water damage. They were very kind to wear shoe protectors before going inside our house. They figured the leak was coming from the hot water pipe supplying our hallway bathroom. The plumbers took their time and got their materials from their car. They did a good job. I only wish they finished the job at a short time (plumbers would go in and out of the house to get materials or supplies together). I was charged $701 for the pipe repair.

Sam's Plumbing And Rodding responded quickly to a customer in need. My main water line to the house broke while I was on vacation. When I returned, my yard was flooded. This company provided same day service, did an excellent job, and at a lower price than their competition when I called. I would highly recommend their prompt and excellent services.. I am a very satisfied customer.

We had an excellent experience with Chas at Apex. He was helpful and stuck with the diagnostic process, and we ultimately able to resolve our problem. The price was definitely reasonable for the number of times he had to visit to try to figure out the issue and make the repairs. I would highly recommend this company.

Matt fixed our sink. We called him after seeing good reviews, and he responded super quickly. He saved us a lot of money by fixing something we thought we would have to replace. He also was able to work with our schedule, and really makes an effort to make the process as easy on you as possible. We will definitely call again the next time we need a plumber!
