Best Replace Main Water Line in Chicago IL
Rick and Eric came out to have a look at a leaking pipe. Were able to promptly figure out the issue, cut some new pipe and install it with no issues. Super nice fellas. Special shoutout to Eric for getting into my crawlspace with me. Would definitely use these guys again.

Great team of professionals. John Baethke hires the most talented and amazing technicians. His team works hard at treating your home like it is their own. They make sure to clean up after themselves, this way you don’t have to. If you ever need to have plumbing work completed, I highly recommend John Baethke Plumbing.

First off, did not keep their promise of informing me 30 mins before they would arrive. I ended up calling them 3 times to get a status update on the plumber to eventually canceling the appointment. The building engineer, other people in the building were inconvenienced because of this 2 hour wait and watch. And by the way, getting bounced around between customer service and dispatch and hold and then dispatch was no fun! After rescheduling for another time, to replace a below the sink valve and flushing the water heater guess what they charged me? $898. For a 1.5 hour job? If it was NOT for the guests in my house I would NOT have willingly gotten ripped off by these guys. Finally, the plumber and I agreed that he will walk me through the work that he did after he is done. He decided to walk way from the job site without talking me to and walking me through the work he did. His excuse - you have 6 months of warranty on this stuff anyways. Why does it matter?I would look for alternatives before you call these guys.Update --- Got a follow-up call from Roto-Rooter.This is how disorganized the company is.I got one call from the dispatch center to discuss the dispatch related issues. The person who called had NOT reviewed the calls or looked over the notes before calling me.I got a second call from the corporate office for the personnel -plumber involved. I learned that the plumber due to company policy required to leave the job site once he / she has done all the work to the next job site. So if they don't tell you they are done or don't demonstrate to you that they fixed what they came to do its totally normal. This woman told me that they are NOT required to do that. This is the corporate way.

Edwin has helped us twice, both with urgent situations. Once with a sump pump issue and the second was a hot water heater issue. Edwin was responsive, knowledgeable, calm, and honest. We knew we were in good hands the first time we met him. We’d highly recommend him to anyone!

WARNING!! TO ALL POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS DO NOT USE APEX Plumbing and Sewer Services!!!! They improperly installed a sump pump in my finished basement in May 2022. They DO NOT back there services! I have tried to reach the owners on 3 occasions to explain that the pump failed after 10 months and got no call back. A more reputable company came in and explained to me that their was work was sloppy and not properly installed. Specifically. they did not replace a broken check valve and did not properly fasten and seal the sump pump cover. Plus the fact that their Made in China pump failed and refused to contact me and explain themselves after I sought a partial refund. I paid $2500 for this work which took less than a hour for them to complete. Also a ridiculous amount given a pump casts approx. $500. THEY ARE RIP-OFFS! I am reporting them to BBB and I warn anybody to use a more reputable company.

Cant thank Rescue Plumbing enough! My mom's water heater was flooding her basement and no one would come out without a ridiculous emergency fee. They charged me a $99 emergency fee which was amazing compared to $300-$500 ER Fees. Benjamin came out turned off the water heater and started draining the heater. Thomas & Sam came in right behind him and we were up & running in no time. Thank you Rescue Plumbing!!!

We used Loves for a leak in a pipe that was causing damage in our living room. I can’t say enough great things about the work that was completed. Our phone call was quickly responded to on a Saturday. He answered all our questions and explained as he worked. He protected all the surface areas in the work area and cleaned up after he completed the job. He was thorough and tested and retested until he was sure the problem was fixed. I highly recommend Loves Plumbing & Sewer!

We called them out and they continued to make up issues as they worked that of course would cost more to fix. They were able to turn a $300 job into a $1000 fix. Dishonest people who have no interest in repeat business.

I can’t say enough about how amazing Henry from Savior plumbing is. We had three pipes burst during this weeks freezing temperatures (week of Christmas 2022). Within 30 minutes of calling, Henry arrived, diagnosed the problem, went to get supplies, and within about an hour, had us back up and running. A day after Christmas, what could have been a complete disaster was saved (pun intended) by Henry. I now have his card on my refrigerator and his number saved. Professionalism and skill aside, Henry is so kind and friendly (good with dogs too!) There’s no one else I’ll call.

A person who took us for a $930 ride and never completed the job, nor did he guarantee his work. We should have shopped around, because he took advantage of our not knowing going rates. SEE PIC of INVOICE: Charged separately for rod and camera. The plumber who finished the job charged only $200. An unsuccessful rod and camera cost us that much. Upon picking up his equipment, he entered our house without our permission, and made a scene in front of our house when we cancelled what would have been another $450 rodding on top of the INVOICE below. Consider yourself warned.

I called on a Friday after I had water in my basement from heavy rain storms. They were there Saturday morning to assist me. They took care of the issue and I no longer have water in the basement and the water is not backing up even after several more days of rain storms. My plumber was David and he was very professional and he kept me informed of everything he was doing.
