The service person was friendly, but was originally quoted $1,000 to replace a bathroom faucet. When I said I had other lower cost options, they came down to $500. What an embarrassingly bold attempt to take advantage of a customer.
Have used them before for our condo assoc. but will def be shopping around next time since this quote illustrated a lack of trustworthiness.

Slight hiccup with scheduling, plumber came later than promised, but when he arrived he was friendly and professional and got the job done quickly. I can flush the toilets again!

Checked out my problem very quickly and the work that was done was incredible. Gave me options and explained everything very thoroughly. I highly recommend J sewer & drain repair . they came to my home and hydro jetted my main line cleaning and clearing it of tissue and Greece that had been clogging my drains . After Steele rodding my inside and outside lines . My plumber suggested hydro jetting. J sewer has professional equipment that comes with tank and camera. Then he re checks the lines after he clears them . Prompt and professional service @ a fair price .I Highly recommend

I am a general contractor specializing in bathroom remodels and I frequently use First Chicago plumbing as my go-to plumbing outfit. Always on time, fair pricing, quality work performed in a professional fashion every time!

This morning as i was headed out the door i noticed something out of the corner of my eye. soap bubbles. at the rim of the kitchen sink. odd i think to myself and walk over to inspect. the kitchen sink is completely full of water which is really odd because there was no water running. i call work and tell them i will be late and go grab the plunger. i plunge and i plunge and nothing happens so call a plumber i must.

rob was the 3rd plumber i called and the first who answered his phone. i told him the problem. he told me what he thought it was. he told me he would call me back in 10 minutes to let me know when his guys could be over.

in the meantime i got distracted by the apartment building on the corner catching on fire.

15 minutes or so later rob called back. his guys would be there in a half hour to an hour. about 40 minutes later two guys showed up. took some things apart. snaked some things. got the water draining properly again. i'm on the first floor and the main line for the building was filled with a rock of grease. they showed me a pipe in my sink's drain that seriously needed to be replaced. it had a huge rust spot and completely crumbled upon further inspection. a quick trip to home depot for a new pipe. installed the pipe and out the door they went.

i am a new homeowner and this was my first time dealing with a plumber. i can say with certainty these guys will be my first call next time i have troubles!

I utilized Goode for a few projects in my house, including a very tricky low water pressure problem. Jake was very responsive and was always willing to discuss the problems and solutions with me throughout the process. When their first solution didn’t work, they were very professional and worked with me to find a solution to the problem that took into account the work we had already paid for. When we needed to excavate the front yard to access the water main, Terry and his crew were always friendly and willing to answer my questions throughout the project. Ultimately, large plumbing projects are absolutely no fun, but Goode did everything they could to make it a smooth process and managed to solve all of our issues. Now I’m enjoying fantastic water pressure throughout the house and am very happy with their work.

Maryann was very customer friendly very informative. The plumber did not give me the same price Maryann quoted, she quoted 150.00 per hour, he wasn't even here a good 25min, and he charged me 165.00 dollars, but it is what it is. I understand that if they are here for 15min its still 150.00 dollars, but why would he charge me a extra 15.00 dollars. I've known Mr yerkes for many many years, he was always very knowledgeable, and helpful with any Diy project I was doing, by me being a female I made many mistakes, and Mr yerkes had many laughs on me, he his a great friend .I wish he still had his hardware

Our basement ceiling was leaking. We called Plumbers 911 and they arrived within (24) hours and identified the problem. They explained in laymen's terms what repairs needed to be done, the time frame and cost. They did an excellent job and the post clean up was amazing.
