Best Plumbing Problem in Chicago IL

Our main sewer line was clogged and we called Roto-Rooter for help. The technician was professional and on time. Our issue was fixed quickly, for a fair price.

Living in a 100+ year old building offers many challenges. Over the years, renovations have made the utility systems somewhat of a mystery. Jan and his plumbers with Vanguard are our go-to plumbers for all things from finding mystery back-ups to cleaning out the pipes and monitoring their state. Vanguard staff are respectful, punctual and always leave the place in excellent condition.

A+ service. Rocket made a potentially unpleasant experience easy. My water heater was leaking, needed replacement. I received a return phone call 30 minutes after leaving a message at Rocket, and scheduled an appointment for an 8-9am window the next morning. Ryan and Ze arrived at 8:00am sharp, we discussed a quote and they left to go buy a water heater. Several hours later they were DONE, new water heater installed. Ze and Ryan were professional and courteous but also personable and friendly. I am very satisfied, intend to use Rocket again the next time I need plumbing work.

J Sewer's were excellent in making repairs of the connection between our home and the city sewer. Work was done within a day! Would recommend for cleaning, inspection and repairs!

We have used Van Der Bosch plumbing for at least 10 years. As a management company, it is hard to find an honest, hardworking contractor who returns your calls, comes through in an emergency and drops everything to help you. This is Van Der Bosch. They come on time, they get to the root of the problem (they don't just band-aid problems) and they are pleasant to work with even when standing in knee deep sewer water. Highly recommend them.

Very disappointed in this company If you have an appointment come on time not 1 hour before or after your appointment. When you arrive ring the door bell or knock on the door. Leaving your business card on the door and taking a picture does nothing but cover your @ss.

Got this number from H. W. H. R Chicago. Walter did not show up for the first scheduled appointment and no response was received after missing the second scheduled appointment. I will be contacting a more reliable plumber.

The pilot light on my water heater went out and when trying to relight it, it would not stay lit. The technician was friendly and arrived about an hour after I called. He took a quick look at my water heater and said that the issue was with the gas line for the unit and that the whole unit would need to be replaced. He said that they don't do repairs just unit replacement. That really confused me as, according to their website:

We Provide the Following Water Heater Repairs: Thermocouple, Gas controls, Relights, Relief valves, Pilot assemblies, We Do It All!

The unit was 9 years old so it was hitting the replacement time anyways. We also discussed the federal efficiency requirements changes for 2015 and how the newer units are considerably larger. This would have presented a problem for my condo's small utility closet, but thankfully I would be able to still get a new unit manufactured before the new efficiency laws.

The quote for the replacement was $1350. Later in the day I got a second quote from Chicago Heating Repair that came in $400 cheaper at $950. Moral of the story: always get at least two quotes.

The service was incredible. I called with a faucet problem and a plumber came out within a 1/2 hour and fixed it in 5 minutes! I highly recommend this service ?

Very responsive. Called at 4 am after my water heater valve burst off and water was shooting out everywhere. They helped solve the immediate emergency and even did a video call to help. Great service, people who really care. Highly recommend
