Power provides the best and most experienced plumbing service in Chicago. I wish all service providers could be half as good as Power.

Took 45 minutes to install a dishwasher (plumbers on-site complained about being installers now) and they charged $196 up front. Bill came 2 months later for an additional $506 and shows over 2 hours of service. They did end up crediting $100 off but not satisfied with the overall experience. I would recommend a more buttoned up establishment unless you want to overpay for quick service during Covid.

I had a tub draining very slow, and a constant running toilet I called Zunigas and they came right out. They were able to quickly assess the issues and resolved them within minutes. I would highly recommend this company!

Mr. Burris came out to our home, personally, and boy was he a blessing! Very friendly, very professional, and very knowledgeable. We were without air-conditioning for over a week. The temperatures were in the mid 80s to low 90s and it was miserable. My husband and I called some other contractors and their prices were through the roof! One company told us that we would need a brand new unit and that the cost would be between $3200 and 6000. However, Mr. Burris not only found that there was actually a missing piece on our AC unit, but his prices are more than fair and he saved us several thousand dollars!! I cannot recommend him enough. Thanks to Mr. Burris, we can finally have some comfort in our home during this heat wave and we absolutely plan on using his services for other things in the near future. I highly, highly recommend him and his company.

Joe was very flexible with scheduling my repair. He arrived on time and impressed me as knowledgeable with professional recommendations. He was reasonably priced and efficient with repairing my pipes in a timely manner. I am definitely recommending Joe for your plumbing needs.

I would not recommend using their service for several reason and based on a recent experience I had with them:
1. The person who came to my place to help with rodding the main sewage was rude and unprofessional.
2. Although I already told him the problem and the fact that the way to get there is through the street main basin, he came over and charged me the consultation fee of 100$ just to confirm what I already told him.
3. They are not honest. He told me the city would not allow using the main basin at all and would fine me 50k$ if we do so. I called Evanston Building Department the next day and they said they usually don’t have any problem with that as long as they get a call and be informed.
4. They are not good at what they do. He didn’t check to see what the other options would be to rod the pipe. He just wanted to get the 100$ and get out ASAP. I called another company an hour later, the evaluated the sewage system in detail and determined a way to get the job done and fixed the issue on the same day (on the weekend).

Charlie is a very friendly and knowledgeable plumber. He did a fantastic job working on my furnace and water heater. He was very thorough, explained everything he was doing and was very reasonable price wise. I will definitely call again if I have issues in the future.

We had a very bad experience with Ashland Plumbing when Ron came out to connect a refrigerator water line and check a seal on a toilet. At Ron's suggestion we also replaced all of the inner mechanisms in the toilet tank (flappers, valves, et cetera) on two Toto toilets as a preventative maintenance measure. Turns out after connecting the fridge, Ron never turned the water back on. After we figured this out and turned the water back on, we discovered that the connection Ron made leaked. Also, the toilet that was working fine when Ron arrived, was now running non-stop since the replaced the innards. We had him come back out and he charged us for fixing his error with the refrigerator and the toilet. They also charged not just for the time he was here, but for the driving time from their shop. Less than $150 in materials and $900 in labor. When we objected to the fee for the second service trip, they were very argumentative, rude and unaccommodating. Be aware that they will start charging $166/hour when they get in their vehicle and not when they arrive.
