I had Joe come by with Mark to unclog a kitchen drain. Prices on the unclogging were decent. Unfortunately, the pipe leading from the drain was so impacted with this black tar like substance it had to be replaced with pvc. Joe recommended to have a plumber unclog drains to the kitchen and tub on a yearly basis to save you the expense of replacing 90 year old pipes. They were timely, personable, hardworking and listened to your suggestions if you had any. We had some good laughs. Give him a try.

I originally hired a handyman to remove and install a new toilet. He stated that the hole for the floor where the toilet goes is too big and that the toilet will always be rocking. I finally realized that I could not deal with it anymore and decided to hire a plumber- Joe the Plumber. He came out and a relatively easy fixing of a rocky toilet turned out to be a bigger job than what was expected. But he handled it like a champ. He took photos, kept me updated on what is going on, and told me step by step what was wrong and how the was going to fix it. The wax ring is something that he said that he never saw before. The flange was broken so he had to obtain another one and it took a few days to get them and make another appointment for Joe to come back. No worries- I had another bathroom. Joe got several different ones (different sizes as well) to see which would be best to fit my toilet. He put a better quality flange and a new wax ring and fitted it so it wouldn't rock, he put a new water line to the toilet, put new bolts and caps, even fixed the uneven water tank that the old handyman put on, and cleaned up all of the mess. He did a great job- fixed the rocky toilet and made sure that it wouldn't happen again by fitting it properly. I definitely recommend! Thanks so much!

First, Joe's Plumbing actually answered the phone when I called. They were quick and easy to make an appointment with, and they called in the morning to ask if they could show up earlier than the appointment (which was absolutely fine with me)... and true to their word, they showed up when they said they would!

Joe himself came to fix my sink drain - he was quick and efficient, he checked in with me when he found a problem that was going to increase the cost of the work, before he actually started down that path. Both Joe and his apprentice were respectful of my home, friendly, and got the job done way faster than I expected.

Joe also had some recommendations for some other contractors that I've been having trouble finding to do some other work around my house - they've already been in touch with me.

The issue was more involved, but he had the tools and parts in the truck and expertise in his head. Issue fixed. I am happy. And loved that he had an apprentice which he coached the entire time. We will need this trade for awhile - glad to see him growing the technicians.

Was having issues with water in my garage. Joe came over the same day and assessed the situation. Was very thorough and explained everything. The best way to describe my experience was I felt safe with Joe. I didn’t feel like he was going to take advantage of the situation.

I reached out to Joe’s Plumbing Inc after I was unable to find the plumbers I had previously used. I found him on google, he had great reviews, and was local. He came out, suggested we change all the parts in my toilet or replace my toilet because it was flushing really slow and bubbling. It was either spend the $350 on that or $500 plus install for a new toilet so I went with the less expensive option. That didn’t correct the problem, so Joe said we needed to rod the main line. He came out two days later, rodded from the front lawn to the street and then from the front lawn to the toilet. It cost me another $435. The toilet was flushing so I thought the clog was cleared. A couple days later the same problem was happening again. Called Joe, scheduled an appointment, sent a text and no response for 2 days. By this time none of the toilets were flushing. I called another plumber out who was the one I originally was trying to track down and found them. They came out, opened the valve in my basement wall, rodded out the main pipe from inside the house and pulled out a ton of roots that were missed because Joe didn’t rod from inside the house out. It cost me another $380. I asked Joe to do the right thing and refund me the $380 because had he had done this to begin with I wouldn’t have been in this position and no responses as usual. He had no problem responding within minutes before I paid him but now that the checks were cashed nothing… I am honestly disgusted that he didn’t do the stand up thing and refund me the additional cost I was out, especially since he charged me so much already that was unnecessary. I provided him with my receipt and pictures to also back up everything but clearly he doesn’t stand behind his work once the check clears. I do however highly recommend Windy City Rooters for all your plumbing needs!

These guys were prompt in responding to my voicemail and also quick to come out to my building to fix my plumbing issues (low water pressure in my kitchen and bathroom). Great work!

Joe said he would fix my vent pipe for $385.00. He took the pipe apart . He couldn't reconnect it,made a hole in my ceiling. He put a bucket to cover the outside stack.and still charged me the full amount. I would never recommend him to anyone.

Great service from Joe. He was professional and was great in helping me understand what he was doing, what he was looking for, and what I should be looking for with the plumbing. He was a great teacher and Was open and available for me to shadow him and show me all of the steps he was taking to source the problems. I had an amazing experience hiring Joe to install two toilets in my condo. When I first called, I was expecting a generic greeting or an answering machine. Joe answered the phone with such great energy and enthusiasm (I was like, hum... this guy really likes his job!). Had a clogged kitchen drain, Joe came the same day, even early at that, which is great cause I couldn't even get any other service to even call me back. Joe took a look at the sink and let me know that the last guy piped it wrong. Joe explained every step and we got an unclogged drain. Turned out it was pretty major, definitely would not have been able to clear it with out Joe. Joe also fixed the lasts guys piping and let me know that there are some other plumbing projects I need to work on.

Joe has been amazing! He really went above and beyond to help us. We had a faucet break, but with a very complicated problem as the valves to turn off the faucets were inside of the wall and not under the sink. Joe came out and figured out what needed to be done, he installed new faucets and valves down below so we had a normal sink system. Joe came out to replace the wax ring for the toilet. He was very knowledgeable, timely, and professional. He provided a lot of information about the age of the toilet and let us know that if we wanted to replace it in the future he would be happy to do it, but did NOT come off as pushy. I was extremely pleased with all aspects of my experience with Joe’s Plumbing. I called on a Saturday morning, and set up an appointment for Monday. Joe said he would come earlier if time allowed. When I told him what was wrong, he was able to tell me right away what needed to be done, and even gave me an estimate. He sent me a message around 2:00 that same day saying he could be there at 3:00. Joe was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what he needed to do, and even gave me a couple options on what could be done. There was no pressure from him at all. At first Joe was very good, returned my call and was able to stop by in a few hours. He attempted to power route my bathroom drain, it worked for a half hour and was clogged again. Shortly after that I managed to cause the drain to leak very bad. I called Joe for help he said he was on another job and would be by when finished. I waited, wasted an entire day waiting on his help and he never showed or called. Left me hanging, very unprofessional. . . Don’t hold your breath waiting on him.

Called for a quote for a underground bathroom plumbing. Which is a major plumbing job that requires a licensed plumber. I asked them to send me proof they are licensed and they never did. Never even called me back for an appointment and didn't answer my calls.As many plumbing companies in the Chicago area could not provide.Plumber after plumber with no one who can provide me with the proper documentation. The moment I mention a permit. They run like roaches. Thanks for nothing.

It was such a pleasure to work with Joe! He was extremely responsive in setting up our appointment. He showed up on time, prepared with all of the materials necessary for repairs. He was extremely polite, so much as announcing every time he came in from his truck (we left our garage door open), so we knew it was him and not an intruder entering our home. He originally said he could be out in two days but when I asked if he could fit us in the earlier (kitchen faucet completely broken) he said he would be there the next day. Joe was able to come out the same day I called him about a water leak. Joe came out this summer and replaced my shower kit. He left but then there was an issue where it was acting all up. I was nervous not sure what to do. I called their office hoping he could make it out by Monday because I was going to take pictures to put my place on the market. Luckily joe got word and called me that he was driving about an hour away but would swing by my place that evening. He came by and was able to resolve the issue and it has been working fine since. I appreciate that he didn’t leave me hanging and made sure the job was done right!

Joe came out to my place when we told him we had an issue with vibrating water pipes. Our neighbors also found a plumber who arrived hours prior to Joe and had already inspected the place and found the issue. He had to cut so many pipes to zigzag around my garbage disposal in order to install my faucet because the space is really tight. He spent a lot of time to do that, and his pipes look beautiful. I called Joe around 10am and was here at noon the very same day to complete a walkthrough and help diagnosis a problem. Joe took his time and educated me as he inspected my home. He was honest and I could tell he cares about his customers as he could have easily taken advantage of my lack of knowledge. I'll definitely be saving his number for all of my plumbing needs.

He dedicated the better part of two work days on my project which, at first, looked to be simple and straightforward, but turned out to be much more complicated. He provided good and clear information. Our first appointment was canceled due to an emergency situation on his part, and it was a bit complicated rescheduling, but it worked out.

I just used Joe's Plumbing for fixing a toilet tank leak based on recommendations from a friend of mine and my realtor, he did a great job for a fair price. He gave me a discount on fixing the other 2 toilets to prevent leaking in the future because he also clearly explains what the issues and fixes. Unfortunately, the leaky toilet tank was busted, so Joe came back over on Sunday, haul away the old toilet, purchase a new one and installed it on the 3rd floor by himself, no elevators. Awesome job!

Joe is a very skilled plumber. He knows how to work with old homes. We had a flange on our toilets that was the original hundred-year-old front flange.

Worked hard and diagnosed the problem. The washlet sold at Costco only works on a standard size toilet. Mine was a widebody Am. Standard. Good assessment and affable guy!

Extremely rude when they showed up for just the estimate which was actually canceled twice! The second time was 5 min before he was supposed to be here. He called to cancel but then showed up 10 min after he canceled. I would never consider hiring anyone who talked to me like that! Wish I could leave 0 stars.
