Best Kitchen Faucet in Chicago IL
I used Rescue Plumbing to remove an old hot water tank from a second floor apartment and dispose of it, then replace it with a new one, which I had installed into the basement. They got the job done in one day. They worked very fast and was very knowledgeable, ( which is, of course a good thing when dealing with gas and water lines ). I had the new water pipes put in the walls. Everything was done neatly and they cleaned up behind themselves during and after the job was done. Long story short, I am very pleased with their work and I recommend them if you're looking for a professional job done right the first time.

Nate was exceptional! He was patient with my questions and courteous while in my home. We are very happy with the work we had done and look forward to relying on John Baethke & Sons in the future.

Very fast service, but expensive for less than an hour of work needed and for just clearing 20-30 feet out of a clog. It was a flat rate, but were able to get 60 bucks off by donating non-perishable foods and cans. There is also a 40 dollar coupon you can use as well online. Nerties was very nice and was here within an hour after we called. And pinpointed the problem within a few minutes. He also pointed out some safety concerns with the pipes covers we had so we are going to get that taken care of. Thanks!

Plumber Matt was very good and professional. Price was reasonable except for the extra 160.00 for 5 minutes past the first hour. Labor at 160 an hour is reasonable but 160 for 5 minutes is hard to swallow.

I want to point out that I usually post rather stellar reviews and have left very few poor reviews on Google. However, I feel that my experience with JP Blaunton should be shared. A neighbor who had used their services recommended them to me for a new faucet installation. I called and asked them for an estimate. The man who answered the phone said that they couldn't give a quote because every job is different. He said they would charge a 79$ fee that would be deducted from the job if I decided to use their services. I asked if they did Saturday appointments and he said yes. I booked an appointment a month out but oddly enough, he did not take my credit card or even point out to me that Saturday was overtime for plumbers. No one called or emailed to confirm the appointment, so I ended up calling to confirm the day before. The arrival window they gave me was between 12-4 pm (but how would I have known this window if no one was going to inform me?). Saturday arrived, and no one to be found between 12-4 At 5 pm, and after SEVERAL calls and an attempt to live chat them (zero response) inquiring where they were, two young men appeared at my door. Very quickly, one young man pulled out his iPad and showed me the price ranges for the faucet installation: $580 to almost $1800!! I said no way, that's ridiculous and funny how your booking person specifically stated they didnt have any price estimates! He said that's the price, Saturday is overtime. I said well yeah i have a quote from another plumber for $323 and how would I know Saturday is overtime when I only use a plumber once every ten years. I was firm that I would not pay their prices and was ready to say to have a nice day. He said he would text his boss to see if they could price match. He texts and the boss says yes at $343. I said my quote was $323. We looked at each other. He said ok. They took out old faucet and installed the new one in approximately 40 minutes total. As he installed the faucet, he was telling me that it costs his company a minimum of $600 bucks to send people out on each job and that the technicians get paid vacation, a 401k, health insurance, etc., and that the other plumber who gave me a quote probably didn't have the overhead that his company had. Personally, I absolutely want contractors to have all those benefits but as a consumer, I want transparency and fairness. At the end, he takes my credit card info on the iPad; however, I have no receipt, either in paper or email. He verbally told me they guarantee their work for 30 days. They left and I then noticed hairline scratches on the front of the faucet that were not there when I opened the new faucet box for them. I am aggravated by these scratches Such a stressful experience, not interested in having anything more to do with them. Not sure if they treat male clients better but definitely felt like I was given second rate service. Definitely would not recommend.

On advice of my condo mgmt. I phoned Kuhn Plbg. to replace my toilets American Standard toilet water tnak but wa told they would have to replace the whole toilet with another make of toilet at a cost of about $265 plus a labor charge and I said okay as long as the cost didn't exceed $600 and they agreed and set the installation for 9/4/1. Two young men arrived and installed te work in less tan 70 minutes and began to prepare what appeared as a bill and when I asked about it thy just left and presented me with nothing, I called my credit card company that and the next day bu they had no billing from Kuhn. On 9/11/13 I received a bill in letter form for$827.75 and immediately called the office but was informed the owner would not be in until 9/15 or 9/16. Indicated to the female receptionist the mistakes and over charge in th bill & asked why billing was over $225 more than I had indicated I could afford. She said Mr Kuhn would contact me.

These guys are a lifesaver. Was finishing up a small renovation when the gas provider shut off the gas. These guys at Sam's Plumbing And Rodding came out super quick, scoped out the work, gave me a proposal overnight and got to work within a week. Permits were pulled, gas compoany had a half dozen guys checking out there work and they all said they love seeing Sam's Plumbing And Rodding work. I kid you not, they told me it was the one plumber they knew whose work was always solid without flaws.
