Amazingly rapid response to my call for service. Very professional office staff and workers who came to the job site. The work was done to my satisfaction and close to the estimated time frame. Not cheap but high quality.

Found out that over the deep freeze from winter my “frost proof” outdoor spigot had frozen causing the pipe to burst. But didn’t leak until I opened the spigot. Rocket Plumbing was very responsive sending out Luis only a couple hours after calling. He fixed the pipe and added a shut-off valve in just a couple hours. Great service!!

Called for sewer rodding service. They looked into the catch basin and told me that it appeared to be in good shape. Asking why I requested this service, I told them there was a problem with 1 bathroom drainage. They identified the source of the problem by crawling under the house, getting covered in dirt and spider webs and still insisted that this was a free estimate. Jesus quickly shed wisdom on the direct problem...a problem that was not able to be understood or explained by a whole afternoon spent with ABC Plumbing. Highly recommended.

I hired First Chicago Plumbing to remove and install 3 new toilets and seats. They responded the fastest of any of the plumbers I reached out to and arrived exactly when planned. They worked efficiently and finished the job in a timely manner. The toilets work great and they helped clean some of the previous silicon that was attached to the floor without my knowledge.

We have lived in our current home (high-rise condo) for more than ten years and have exclusively used Goode Plumbing whenever we have needed plumbing services. Efficient - Answered Questions Patiently - Explained EverythingThey explained everything so well, I will use a different company next time because I think I have learned all I can from J. Blanton.Mainly, I learned despite spending $15K with them in 2017 to rebuild the line to eliminate frequent $2K hydro jetting, I still need to hydro jet annually. Further, I learned I should have installed an overhead system instead of spending $15K on that job.Expecting to pay $299 for rodding, I spent $2k for jetting and recommendations to repeat it every year, replace the underground line with an overhead one, and use J. Blanton for my water heater/HVAC instead of 4 Seasons. (They also recommended I should not have my flood control so deep, but rescinded it when they remembered they had done the work at our request.)We called them because we received their email saying it was time for our annual rodding; coincidentally, our drain had just backed up. After glancing at the floor around the drain, they quickly decided we needed jetting instead of rodding. They scheduled us for the next morning, showed up when they said they would, accomplished the job within the estimated time, and cleaned up afterward.The backup was caused by a buildup of (mainly) toilet paper that occurred over the past 16 months. They explained it’s just something that can happen and jetting is the only solution. I mentioned I was surprised it could build up that quickly from two people because part of the 2017 work was to change the pitch to prevent that.The rep shook his head slowly and said he recalled they couldn’t get our new line completely pitched: there were still flat areas that were impossible to avoid. This was a learning; I had the false impression the flatness had been addressed. It dawned on me: maybe it WAS actually impossible to avoid flat stretches! I suddenly woke up to the fact the 2017 work was not completely successful despite the best efforts of all involved!He explained the gold standard is to run the line overhead instead of underground: overhead lines never have problems. He suggested this despite my having spent $15K on a job that, 16 months ago, was considered to be a solution to eliminate the need for frequent jetting. (At least, that’s how it was “pitched.”)He also observed my water heater clicking on; it’s not supposed to do that. He recalled Blanton did not install the heater, and recommended I have it serviced. I noticed a Blanton sticker on the heater and pointed it out. He casually told me he had just placed it there and another one on the furnace. How thoughtful! I hadn’t asked him to redecorate my basement with Blanton stickers, but I can see now that he was just making sure I knew how to contact Blanton in case I was ignorant enough to think about calling 4 Seasons again!At the end, instead of giving me a receipt, he sat down in a chair by my computer and instructed me to check my email. I ignorantly asked why – his email the previous day had no message or attachment, so my expectations were low. He said he had sent a simple satisfaction survey and it was very important I fill it out ASAP. When I indicated I did not want to do it in front of him, he solemnly yet firmly stated I should do it by day's end.He explained it was important for him to score well on it: it would help people in my area know to call him if they needed work; he also mentioned a tight competition with another employee to win some kind of incentive – a trip or something. Honestly, his demeanor suggested something even graver might be at stake!I gave him 5 stars because he cleared the drain, was punctual, efficient, clean, and enlightened me regarding how ignorant I was to believe that a) the $15K Blanton job in 2017 had succeeded, b) it was the right solution, c) I wanted to cover the flood control even though it inconveniences him, d) 4 Seasons is meeting my needs, and e) customer satisfaction surveys are used to improve customer service rather than to manipulate metrics. I feel much better educated and ready to learn more from someone else.

Power plumbing took advantage of my pregnant wife on a house call to diagnose a shower that didn't get hot. They were unclear about how the total cost of the service would be calculated, did not explain options along with their costs clearly, and ended up taking 4.5 hours + an expensive part that was more than 40% cheaper next door at Home Depot. Total bill was over $800 and the shower still doesn't get hot consistently. We have found the same type of job in our area should cost between $200-400 with parts and labor.

Their owner has yelled at us and blamed us repeatedly when we have challenged the bill and brought up the shower not working. they have shown no interest in trying to solve an issue for the customer. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Manny was not only thorough but an amazing personality telling jokes while installing my bathroom vanity/faucet and kitchen sink. His work is tidy and an amazing value and my landlord swears by his work saying he is the best of the best. He did not rush and even if he had to go get parts after discovering more was needed he was committed to finishing the job still within a reasonable time.

PSP plumbing did a fantastic job. Reasonable price, very thorough work. We had this faucet replaced 5 years ago, but can now see what quality workmanship looks like. Bobba and Wayne weren’t able to fix my sink. They asked for 250$ to get my sink from slow draining to black nasty standing water. They basically made things worst. They weren’t able to put pipes back together properly twice so now I don’t only have standing water But a leaky pipe too. They weren’t able to find the basin so they left. I told them that my sink was leaking and had been bad for the past days. They didn’t even look at it they just left. I do not recommend this experience to anyone. Do not contract them they lack professionalism. Bobba and Wayne came 3 times and made things worst they aren’t able to fix the problem.

Edit. Rescue Plumbing was able to come in 1 days notice and found the catch basin in 10 min.

Mike and his team cleared the sewer line for our multi-unit building in west Rogers park. They were super professional and easy to work with.

Super professional and patiently explained the advantages of repairing our catch basin for a 6-unit building, and explained why tearing up and re-routing all the plumbing to get rid of the basin was a bad idea. They actually came out twice to help us decide what to do, as we were getting wildly different opinions from other plumbing outfits.

It was verry timely and done verry well.

We have been using Drain Works for our plumbing needs for a couple years now and they have always done a very good job. What I especially like is how they have been available during off hours and weekends to assist in our emergency needs. I highly recommend them, they are reliable, honest and hard working.
