The project undertaken was to replace a 20 year old water heater with new and correct issues causing poor water pressure in a 60+ year old Chicago residence.

Jan and Chris arrived on time and hit the ground running and never slowed down. The water tank was replaced and brought on line in less time than was estimated. If you admire good craftsmanship you'll love Vanguard, the pipe fitting and copper sweating are truly superior . It made me question what I received from prior service providers.

As for the poor water pressure issue, I had convinced myself that the only remedy would be to have a booster pump installed. Our home has had remodeling of the plumbing on all three levels. So all the piping has been modernized and replaced with copper except for the holt/cold risers between the basement and the two bathrooms. After Jan had a look at the bathroom fixtures and the transitions between the new copper and the old galvanized riser pipes he had a different idea as to what would fix the pressure issue. He suggested replacing the valve system in the new shower that had mixing valve. And, replace the non-brass die-electric unions (connecting the old piping to the new), with brass fittings before spending the roughly $4000.00 to install a booster pump. As it turned out, at each point in this process Jan was right, there was significant blockage in the fixtures and DE unions. Long story short, I'm very happy with the water pressure at all of my fixtures and it cost a lot less in labor and parts than the booster pump! These guys know plumbing and that is evident in their honesty, workmanship and troubleshooting.

We had hot water coming from our cold faucets throughout the house. Jeff came in and immediately figured out the problem based on his experience and fixed within 30 minutes. They’ve done work for us in the past and are always really great. You should use these guys always.

I can't say enough about Bert and his staff. I had a plumbing issue in our condo that lasted for multiple months. Our building's kitchen line would become clogged and sewage water came up our sink because we were on the bottom floor. One plumbing service would resolve it by rodding the line, and the problem would return time after time. Finally, the other services gave up on it. They said they couldn't find the catch basin, they said the pipes were too narrow to put in a camera, there was too much risk to hydro jet it. Bert not only came up with answers, but he came up with ones that finally brought an end to our issue. There was even a point where we were discussing excavation, which would have brought him more money, but he wanted to try something different, which worked, and cost me a whole lot less. I'm grateful in many ways for the work he did.

My phone call was answered promptly and they were able to have someone out at the beginning of the time window offered.Drew arrived on time and had everything he needed to replace my garbage disposal. He gave me a couple options and talked me through the pros and cons of each. He was thorough and showed me how to do some basic troubleshooting on my own if I ever had to.Hoping I don't have plumbing issues in the future, but if I ever did, I would definitely use Blanton (and would request Drew!) again.

Ray is a great manager and Bobby is a professional plumber who knows everything about pipes, sewer, jetting, etc'. We have a problematic plumbing system in our building and they are working on the issues in the best way. We are recommending this company very much!

They came out and fixed a serious plumbing issue at my grandmother's home. They were patient and explained every single issue before completing repairs. I will 100% use them again for any plumbing issues we have in the future.

The technician was great. He was at my house when he said he would be. He just had to change out a service line to the stool. I guessed a 15 minute job and he was done in under 5. The service was quick and professional. He answered all questions and was in no hurry to leave until I was satisfied. He also took the time to put ID tags on all of the main water lines in the house and gave some suggestions to keep everything in tip top shape. Had them out to reseal my toilet. Chaz was friendly, and was out at my house in under an hour. Did not mind me hovering over him asking questions either.

Bobba and Wayne weren’t able to fix my sink. They asked for 250$ to get my sink from slow draining to black nasty standing water. They basically made things worst. They weren’t able to put pipes back together properly twice so now I don’t only have standing water But a leaky pipe too. They weren’t able to find the basin so they left. I told them that my sink was leaking and had been bad for the past days. They didn’t even look at it they just left. I do not recommend this experience to anyone. Do not contract them they lack professionalism. Bobba and Wayne came 3 times and made things worst they aren’t able to fix the problem.

Edit. Rescue Plumbing was able to come in 1 days notice and found the catch basin in 10 min.
