When calling I had set an appointment for 10am-2pm. They called at 1:15 stating that t be there shortly. I had tenants waiting. Called @2:15 said they would be there shortly. Now it’s 4:45 they called My tenants and said they be there shortly again no show. Luckily I checked with a good friend who’s a retired plumber and told me to stay away from Roto Rooter. Maybe it was an omen.

We used CJ Plumbing for some kitchen work. They came out the same day I called to check out what needed to be done, set up a time, and give a quote. Our countertops were delayed which then delayed the plumbing work on the stove and sink. They were still able to come back within 24 hours to do the work. Our stove had no gas shut off so they installed a shut off and connected the cooktop. The plumbing under the sink was all messed up, not up to code, and they did a phenomenal job correcting all the plumbing there as well. Not only efficient, but done very well. Will definitely have them come back for future plumbing work we need done.

I called Chicago Water Heater and Plumbing Specialists after my water heater finally gave it up after 15 years. Sam returned my call within 20 minutes and came out for an assessment the same day. He took the time to explain my options and answered all my questions. I decided to go with the same brand of water heater, an American-made Bradford White, because my old model had served me well for so long. I also wanted to avoid dealing with the big box stores. Sam gave me an estimate that was reasonable for an upgraded 50 gallon tank, and, to my surprise, was able to schedule the installation for the next day. He arrived on time, and despite an unforeseen issue with a flue pipe that he quickly resolved, he completed the installation in about two hours. Very thorough, explained everything clearly, and even swept up when he finished. I am very pleased with the product and the level of service.

I Definitely don’t recommend this company for any emergency service.. needed a sewer line cleared as I was having backup in my shower… charged 475 to clear shower line which they could not clear... didn’t tell me that price before attempting to clear line.. than text me a price of 650 to try & clear the same line thru the toilet… at that point I said no.. paid them 475 +125 for emergency service fee & they left with nothing being accomplished.. he did say. If I had let him drop a camera to see which line to clear.. it would of been cheaper but Ofcourse he didn’t tell me any of that in the beginning or the 475 price til after they attempted to clear line.... had another company come the next day & clear the same line for 275 & no camera needed…so basically they wanted to charge me 1225.00 to do the same job, I got done for 275 the next day.. ripoffs!!!!!!!! Beware!!!!

Called Repipe Specialists to get an idea of what it would cost to replace the old galvanized pipes in my house. They quickly scheduled an appointment to look at the house and got me an estimate. They were able to provide me with financing at a fantastic rate.

As for the work itself the pipes were done in a day. They were efficient and very friendly. The were careful to cut into as few walls as possible and the patching was done the next day. The patches turned out great! A light sanding and some paint and you'd never know.

The pipes are great and I would do it again!

We had two emergencies during the extreme cold weather this past winter. Our water heater exploded followed within a week by a major pipe burst. We hired 4S to get us through it and they came through with flying colors. Knowledgeable, fast, efficient and caring are just a few of the words I would use to describe them. Ann all at the most reasonable cost and payment terms. Most highly recommended!
