Vanguard is my go to now after two great experiences with them. Jan is great on the phone, and he asked questions and coached me through things to check to see if I really needed a plumber (e.g. when my garbage disposal died he talked me through a reset attempt). He had me email photos and was able to give me a clear sense of my options. George came out to do the work and was great, and was able to diagnose and fix problems created by poor plumbing decisions by previous owners of my condo - including setting me up to solve simple plumbing problems on my own! Fast, responsive, and work done right - Vanguard definitely deserves its reputation!

The condo I live in has had a water issue that has been unresolved for months now. We called Goode Plumbing, and they sent someone out same day to take a look. We had the pleasure of meeting and working with Alex, who is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and patient. Edwin has helped us twice, both with urgent situations. Once with a sump pump issue and the second was a hot water heater issue. Edwin was responsive, knowledgeable, calm, and honest. We knew we were in good hands the first time we met him. We’d highly recommend him to anyone!

Matt came out to rod out my main sewer line, he got out all of the tree roots causing the clog, he was friendly and professional, explained everything to me and picked up after himself, pricing seemed reasonable, I'll definitely be coming back to this company for any future plumbing needs, and I would recommend them to everyone

Very professional and helpful. I live out of state and was kept informed during the entire process. This was a complicated job because the piping is all over the place. I had several frozen pipes and a broken pipe. I would definitely hire them again.

Extremely High estimates. Twice what I received from other businesses. Tech was a nice guy but in a bad spot that he has to give bloated estimates. I also had to pay a service call fee. No other businesses required for estimates. My advice is to move on to another business.

These people are the epitome of shady plumbers. A repair had to be conducted in a hurry and someone less knowledgeable had to supervise it and they saw $ signs and took advantage of the situation. Charged $850 to replace a shower cartridge and a toilet mechanism - $50 of parts and 30 minutes of work for them. Refused to provide a detailed invoice (that I needed for reimbursement). Actually did not use the right shower cartridge the first time, but hid it and charged the money anyway. Only when I called them out on it, since the shower did not work right, they came back to fix the shower for real. Avoid, unless you want to be ripped off by a couple of shady characters.

Fantastic, nothing else. Mr Burris is not only a very nice person (my dog is super picky and immediately felt at ease with him), but more importantly he's incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. He clearly still enjoys his craft, even after who knows how many decades of doing it. He even fought Chicago Marathon traffic to come out on a Sunday!

We had him out to evaluate some (what we thought was) serious leaking in the basement and in the walls between two condos. He walked me through every step, making sure I understood the mechanics of what is happening and then listened as I said it all back to him. He told me how much to expect to pay for all the steps and to have anyone who estimates more call him to explain it in front of me. He also offered some DIY advice too to save us some money. Saving his number... probably on speed dial.

Bobba and Wayne weren’t able to fix my sink. They asked for 250$ to get my sink from slow draining to black nasty standing water. They basically made things worst. They weren’t able to put pipes back together properly twice so now I don’t only have standing water But a leaky pipe too. They weren’t able to find the basin so they left. I told them that my sink was leaking and had been bad for the past days. They didn’t even look at it they just left. I do not recommend this experience to anyone. Do not contract them they lack professionalism. Bobba and Wayne came 3 times and made things worst they aren’t able to fix the problem.

Edit. Rescue Plumbing was able to come in 1 days notice and found the catch basin in 10 min.

Thank you Mike for being there within 30 min of my parents house emergency! There was water coming out of the drain on floor in boiler room and from upstairs in the dishwasher. Long story short, dirty water was accumulating and Mike and his partner came and fixed things up with a fair price. God bless and thanks again.

As a residential general contractor, I have used a number of plumbing companies over the last thirty years. Usually, I have been less than satisfied with their work and responsiveness. For the last thirteen years, I have only used CJ Plumbing. Their skill, responsiveness, experience and price are unmatched. If I could give six stars, I would.
