Best Tankless Water in Chesapeake VA

We couldn’t find a plumber on Christmas Day to fix an outdoor spigot. We feel very lucky to have found Stephen. He came out at 10:00 PM and put on a new spigot in no time. He was prompt and courteous. I do believe we’ve found our new plumber!

My second floor tube was leaking into my neighbors garage. Justin was very professional, friendly, communicated well. He explained what the problem was and what he did to fix in a clear and easy to understand manner. Cost was very reasonable. I was really pleased and will definitely use him in the future.

Lanthorn Plumbing took on the job of completely replumbing our 100 year old commercial building! They did a fantastic job and have remained very responsive and go above and beyond when we have run into clogs/etc. and needed ongoing help! They've responded immediately on several occassions in order to keep our business operative during plumbing issues! We would HIGHLY recommend!

We have used Harrison’s plumbing for two years now and never plan on using someone else again! We have used countless plumbers in Hampton Roads and always were unsatisfied with them at one point or another. We have found that customer service, timeliness, and the actual work done are all top notch. He has answered the phone in after-hour emergencies, he has used parts that he was saving for hi/ home on ours when we encountered product shortages and shipping delays, and he has shown up to any job - small or big- with a positive attitude. We can count on him for our personal residence and for our rental properties.

Best plumber in the area. Just did a master bath remodel he meticulously installed shower pan along with rerouting all water lines and drain lines. Only uses parts made for the professional. Great demeanor a true professional. He is the only plumber that I will use, from now on.

My review is based on my experience with their Newport News location (since that locations doesn't allow for google reviews).
I recommend NOT calling Smith & Keene for your after hour HVAC needs. This morning Mr Larry Rush of Smith & Keene explained, or attempted to explain, how $303 for an after hour (Saturday) freon recharge (1lbs R22) was a fair and competitive price. We paid Smith & Keene $149 for the after hrs service call and $154 for the R22 freon recharge. Mr Larry ended the call abruptly (rudely) after he ran out of explanations. I called a few competitors for estimates on the same service. You live and you learn. Here's what I learned:
For the same after hrs service:
Wright's AC (Wolftrap): $88 (after hrs) + $50 (R22) = $138
Dan's AC (near Jefferson/Eustis Blvd): $95 (after hrs) + $50 (R22) = $145
RS Andrews: $89 + $144 ($79 for 2nd lbs) = $233
It's funny Mr Larry told me to call RS Andrews. So, I did.

We had a natural gas pipe develop a leak, which resulted in the gas company shutting off and locking our meter. Without gas, we had no stove, but worse, no hot water. This was on a Tuesday night. He came out on Wednesday, replaced to leaky pipe, and contacted the city inspector (part of the process). They came out on Thursday, and we had hot water! He did not gouge us on price and he worked really quickly. THANK YOU! I would recommend him to anyone.

Called and Schedule an appointment for installation of a kitchen garbage disposal. The person on the phone gave me a verbal quote. The day of my appointment the Tech was tied up on another job, but I was informed in advance and keep receiving updates until he arrived. Mike was the Tech that installed the garbage disposal. A great guy, he gave me all the manuals and other associated material. He cleaned up after and didn't leave anything behind. I wanted to use a credit card he sent a link for payment to my email and said that I could pay it there. Hands down one of best home repair companies in the Hampton Roads. I will be using this business in the future and referring them to friends!

Very helpful guys and you can't beat the prices. If you have a plumbing problem they have the product and the solution on how to install those product's. They are much more helpful than any Lowe's or Home Depot 😆.
