Good folks. A veteran friendly company. Honest, fair and very knowledgeable. They have established themselves as my go-to company.

RA Styron has installed two units in our home. Their customer service has been responsive and reasonably priced. Everyone that we have dealt with, from the initial quote and installation, to subsequent repairs has been great.
Our gas package unit needed a major repair which shut our heat off in January. They promptly ordered the parts in and the technician got the unit up and running in no time. We have utilized other HVAC companies and the competitors' business practices and service do not compare favorably with RA Styron at all. We are satisfied customers and highly recommend RA Styron.

If I could leave ten stars, I would! Classic no cold air, Marvin wasted no time and focused on the most likely (and what was) the problem. Pointed out potential problem areas in the future, and no hard sell.

AC went out when temps were over 100 this past summer. The rep came out that same day of my call, I knew this was the best company for my needs. They were here on the second day with AC/Heating/Ducts. It was a full day's work for the crew. They were extremely courteous and did a wonderful job. Mr. Styron was most understanding when unexpectantly the funds took a few days to arrive. I must say I am impressed with this company AND have benefitted with a much lower electric and gas bill! I am now on a yearly maintenance program with Styron.. You need to call them. Thank you Mr. Styron!

Marvin is excellent! He responded very quickly and showed up on time. We are very pleased with how knowledgeable and professional Marvin and the install team were. We were quoted a fair price and they were able to install our AC and furnace the very next day. Huge thank you to R.A. Styron, we'll be customers for life!

After 1 hour comfort left me with a blown AC and told me they’ll be back in a week to give me a second opinion I got lucky. Marvin was working next door with comfort counts. I asked if he could take a look at my unit. It was 5 o’clock in the afternoon and he had every right to say call the number and make an appointment. To my surprise Marvin said let me take a look. He diagnosed the problem In 5 minutes. The other company was here on the phone with tech support for 5 hours. I would of been happy with just this but then Marvin went above and beyond and checked if my unit still had any warranty left. It turns out it did. He returned two days later on a handshake with the part and had my ac working in an hour. I can’t express how truly thankful I am for Marvin and comfort counts. I have no doubt 1 hour heating and cooling was gearing up for an entire unit sales pitch and I was desperate in a heat wave with no AC and probably would of fallen for it. THANK YOU

Our Heating and Air gas pack unit went out yesterday morning. I was extremely concerned because I could smell an intense burning smell and thought our home was on fire. I had another company come out and look everything over and they stated the unit should be replaced and gave me a quote. I decided to get a second opinion and after 5pm on a Tuesday I called RA Styron based on a friends recommendation. The on-call tech immediately gave my information to Ralph who decided he would come immediately to look things over and give me a quote (he was here way past normal business hours). He was concerned about my family and the freezing temps headed our way. My husband and I felt like the company had great standards so we immediately made the decision to move forward. There was also a couple hundred dollar savings which was a bonus. Ralph sent an extremely professional and friendly team out the next morning and they arrived right on time at 9am and finished the job earlier than expected. The setup looks much nicer and we are 100% satisfied even considering we weren’t expecting to spend that kind of money right before Christmas. I will call these guys again.

The Tech that came out was very knowledgeable about the gas pack that I have. Setting up an appointment was very easy, they came out within a reasonable amount of time. They are very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

A/C had been out for three days and our builder’s company couldn’t respond but they gave me James’s cell number and he came out at 8:30 in the dark to try to fix or diagnose the problem! He figured it out in minutes but needed to get a service Board to repair. He followed up first thing in the morning and gave me a price and told me he could be there within an hour to install! He did and repaired our unit in less than an hour!! James and the company phone contact were professional and caring. I will be using them exclusively for any future requirements and will recommend them to friends and family!!

RA Styron installed my HVAC system on a new construction in the Deep Creek area of Chesapeake. No one but them has touched it since its installation 2.5yrs ago. I have signed up for the bi-yearly servicing which I would highly recommend, the cost is justifiable and it comes with a few other added perks that make it well worth it in my book.

I also had an emergency need to service and/or quote a new system at a property I was attempting to sell which was out of their immediate service area, a short phone call later they had arranged for I believe RA himself to come by as soon as possible to go over my needs.

I have had few contractors that I have worked with on the south-side that have been as attentive as Styron, two thumbs up!

I'm writing as a New customer to R.A. Styron Heating and A/C. My technician that came out was named Marvin. He was Absolutely Awesome! he came right on time and serviced my Air Conditioning system. He was Friendly and Professional and he was a Wealth of knowledge in knowing about my system which is a Geo-Thermal heating and cooling system. I will definitely be calling on Marvin again to service my system. I cannot say enough about this man! Because my A/C system needed two different types of servicing, Marvin even pointed me in the right direction as to what
I should do next!

Mr Styron was very polite and prompt.

A few years ago our system died on us in the middle of the scorching heat of the summer. After a day of calling around for estimates we decided to go ahead and let Styron's crew replace it. They we reasonably priced and had availability the very next day. We have had them out to maintain it ever since and had only one issue, which they promptly came out to repair under warranty. They have a life long customer with us and we refer them to friends and family whenever we can!

We have known the Styron family and used their services for over 26 years. Everyone has always been very polite, thorough, and professional. They have done many jobs over the years at our home. We use their spring/fall maintenance program to reduce problems throughout the year. They are a reliable, trustworthy, fair company.

UPDATE: June 2023, called RA Styron for the third time. The office guy was professional and understanding. The technician was at the house just after lunch and got the a/c up and running. Nothing but positive things to say. I will be using them to replace my unit this Fall. Awesome company!
May 2022: This is the second time I’ve had an emergent a/c problem and RA Styron responded on the same day. The technician was prompt and efficient. In both cases they resolved the problem within hours of the call. Incredible service. Cost was very reasonable. I strongly recommend this company without reservation. You won’t be disappointed.

One of their drivers tried to run me off the road. I moved into the fast lane on the highway and he sped up to try and cut me off. If their service is similar to how their techs drive, I'd rather use literally anyone else. Tried calling the office. Apparently, they didn't care either.

R.A. Styron installed our Trane heat pump almost 12 years ago and it is still running strong thanks to the service that we have received. We especially appreciate the quality service from our most recent technician, Ben. Thank you for a job well done.
