My second floor tube was leaking into my neighbors garage. Justin was very professional, friendly, communicated well. He explained what the problem was and what he did to fix in a clear and easy to understand manner. Cost was very reasonable. I was really pleased and will definitely use him in the future.

This was the second time we needed A-1's service. Obviously, we were pleased with our first experience. But, the second experience was over the top outstanding. I was not at the property, but my friend was there to await their arrival. I was texted the information regarding the time to expect them as well as who would be coming to house. I also received a call from the office to confirm that the technician had arrived in the neighborhood. My friend, who is a Type 1 Diabetic had been working in the house and his blood sugar began to nosedive as the technician, Chris B. arrived. My friend was having difficulty standing and speaking. Chris B. caught him before he fell to the floor and helped him to sit up against the door. Chris B was preparing to call the paramedics. My friend was able to tell him to get a sugared soft drink for him and Chris B. watched and waited, hoping that things would improve, which they did. We are grateful for this coincidental arrival and assistance during this time. But, Chris B. then fixed several plumbing problems and the fee was extremely reasonable in my opinion compared to other plumbing costs I have paid to other companies in the past. A-1 and Chris B get a gold star for their business model and service as well as the Humanitarian Award for helping a fellow man in need. We are very grateful.

David Diggs and Travis came to our home and replaced two leaking shutoff valves for our bathroom toilets, and did so in less than 30 minutes. It involved transitioning from the old Quest tubing that the old valves were attached to, and going to pex tubing to attach the new shutoff valves. Their knowledge and professionalism was what I appreciated most, and I have great confidence that this job was done beyond expectations. I would have no reservations about recommending this company, and especially David and Travis, to anyone needing a professional plumber.

As a general contractor looking to expand into Suffolk VA, finding a plumbing contractor that serviced the area, did new construction projects, and was very knowledgeable, accommodating with scheduled appointments and easy to talk to as well as able to effectively communicate with myself and the client, was very vital to the process. Mr. Lanthorn himself was ready with anything I could throw at him either on site or in email. I couldn't ask for anything else for my business and our clients.

Our Water Heater failed and flooded our attic on the weekend. They answered the phone and had someone out the same day. By the next day, we had a new water heater installed and hot water, all over the weekend. They were quick and professional. Justin D answered all my questions and took the time to explain. When speaking to Justin it was clear that he cared and was well trained in customer experience. Thank you all for making a stressful situation a little easier to deal with. Definitely would NOT recommend. This company was recommended by my contractor that is remodeling my kitchen. My cold water line coming off of my water heater was leaking. The first day the plumber was here for 7 hours and the leak was still present and the stores were closed so he couldn't get additional parts. The next day he was at my house for 5 hours and could not get the leak to stop. He said that he would have to cut into the drywall to see if the PVC was leaking. They couldn't get me an estimate while he was here, so the plumber left with the leak still dripping and 16 hours of vacation time spent with no resolution. I find it absolutely unacceptable that a plumber would leave the site with the leak still occurring. The estimate was sent to my email and for an additional $900, I should let the technician make a visit for the 3rd time to attempt to diagnose/fix the problem. No thank you!! I will find a reputable plumber who can get the job done right the first time! Update: A new plumber came in this evening and fixed the leak in a half hour with no need to cut into the drywall. The House Call plumber had the wrong fitting. Saved myself over $800 by going to someone else.

We had a leak from our hot water heater at midnight. We called the emergency number and Quinn called us right back. He went right to work and it was only a pipe coming from the HWH. Minimal damage, great employee and he took time to talk to my husband about possible residual issues. PLUS..there was an online coupon. Buds will definitely be our go to company for our plumbing/ac/heating needs.

Mike Wilson from Roto-Rooters came out and he was very efficient and knew exactly what he was doing. My mom and I were running late and he was very patient with waiting for us. He explained everything he did step by step and made sure everything with our shower drain was working properly. Definitely will call them next time and request for Mike Wilson!

I called because I was in a crisis. I’d dropped my mothers ring down the shower drain. I was broken hearted because she passed in 2020 and it was really valuable to me! Mark showed up the same day even though he had a full schedule and was able to recover my ring!!!! I am so happy and so thankful! Will definitely be using their services again he did a great job put everything back and his prices are reasonable!!! Couldn’t ask for anything better thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
