Jeffrey was the service Pro who took care of our plumbing issue this afternoon. He was extremely professional and went beyond what we expected in terms of providing us not only the service we requested but additional helpful plumbing knowledge that we found to be quite helpful. His energy and positive attitude was something you don't see everyday when it comes to handyman type calls. The House Call company did a job by getting this guy on board. Matt and Jeff did an exceptional job! It's so hard finding people who actually go above and beyond what is expected, but these gentlemen did just that. Their customer service skills and professionalism would want any customer to use House Call Company again in the future. House Call sent someone to our home regarding a few home inspection repairs. I was told beforehand that there would be an $89 Dispatching fee but that I would receive a quote for the work. When the day came for the appointment, the guy showed up 45 minutes early, without informing me. The technician took the list of repairs, walked through the house for about 10 minutes and the told me he needed to go back to his vehicle to contact his boss. 10-15 minutes later, he came back in the house to see about my availability the following week. He informed me that I would receive a quote at the next appointment and then I’ll make third appointment to have the work complete. For $89 I received nothing, no insight regarding the work, no quote and nothing complete. A complete waste of time.

In March 2014 our AC was freezing when it was really cold out and my husband called the House Call Company to diagnose the problem and fix it. They sent a contractor who diagnosed the problem and gave us an estimate. We told them to go ahead with the repair, but they never showed up to do it. We called them a few times in the following week, but nobody showed up to do the actual repair. That left us with no other option but to hire someone else to do another diagnostic and repair.

This company didn't really forget about us as it seemed. They claimed that we didn't authorize the repair and that we owe them a diagnostic fee of $89. The same fee we had to pay someone else because they didn't bother to do the repair. I called them multiple times to ask them to drop the fee, but they insist it's my fault for not authorizing the repair which is not true. I wonder what is stopping them from going around doing diagnostics only and then blowing off the customers if they don't feel like doing the work.

UPDATE: After a few more phone calls, we agreed to pay half of the diagnostic fee since the contractor did come to diagnose the problem and the error was in their bookkeeping.

Poor workmanship, zero oversight and quality control. Felt like I was constantly having to point out obvious issues with projects: gaps, crooked boards, etc. Our deck rail was totally redone twice, and still isn't correct. They offered to redo again at no charge, but I was hoping for a company that could do it right, the 1st time. The wood on our inlaw suite had to also be redone due to poor workmanship, and trying to use caulk to fix rotted areas. Ultimately, we cancelled the contract and walked away.

Everyone I have dealt with from this company are top notch. From the people answering the phones to the people coming out to and into my home. They are polite, professional, and often go out of their way to make the customer happy. Very knowledgeable and willing to pass on tips that might even mean they don't come out for another call.

After another company cancelled my appointment for today, I was left with no heat. They quoted me for the next day which was as soon as anyone I called could get out. They had a cancellation and came day of immediately. Super nice guy, great company, would highly recommend. I've never had a boiler or radiators before, he walked my husband thru the process and helped with some other random little things. I will for sure be using them again!

Great staff! Jasmin got back to me exactly when she said she would. Dean showed up shortly after and was very friendly and explained everything. He had Patrick show up to help out replacing my water heater. They worked quickly but very meticulously throughout the job. Never tried to upsale me or pressure me into anything extra. Best experience I have had with any service company in all of Hampton Roads!

I have never had a bad experience with anyone who has provided service for my house repair needs. Great people to work with. Employees seem to be family not just an employee. All work is done in a timely manner. It's hard to find good people to work with these days. This company is the best at what they do. Love all the folks that have been to do various jobs.

Our tech was Bryant Cueto and we could not have asked for better service! After we lost our water, he came to the house the day after House Call Company was called and saw what we were going through and made us a priority for the following day and got us our water back! The work he did looks incredible and Bryant, as well as the company, really made us feel important and that is all you can ask for when you are in the situation we were in. Bryant was very professional and he was a really positive person despite everything he was doing in the January weather. If we are ever faced with a situation like that again we know exactly who we would call for the job to get done. Thanks to him we can now shower in our own home again!

I had the best experience with this company. They fix the handle in my bathroom with no problem. 2 months ago I had a different company out for the same problem they told me they couldn't fix it. This should be a zero star rating but that isn't possible. I had Leann out to my home and that was a total joke. She is supposed to be their interior remodeling person but she knows nothing about interior remodeling. She was late, she didn't know what to measure or how to measure, she could not answer my questions and was rude to me and disrespectful of my property. She tracked mud in, set sharp items down and slid them around on my counters, touched my walls with bare hands and left finger prints. The woman needs to go back to the barn that she was apparently raised in. After all of this I called the office and spoke to Jasmine and asked if someone else could come out who actually knows what needs to be done. When the answer was no I asked to speak with someone in management which was also met with a rude and resounding no. This company is a joke, I'm sure a person who knows nothing about the industry or remodeling could be persuaded to use them and they would have a real disaster on their hands with Leann at the helm of their project. Also, when their price finally came in, they were 3x higher than the next highest estimate I got.

After experiencing the failure of our home's water heater, we contacted our HVAC service provider, House Call Company, in Portsmouth on Monday, July 18.
Despite the ongoing heat wave's weather demands on House Call Company's service staff, Bryant Cueto was dispatched to our house right away.
He recommended that the best plan of action, given the water heater's age, would be to replace it rather than replacing just the failed starter device.
We agreed to the estimate but it took several days to secure the replacement heater. On Thursday, July 21 the job was completed and we were delighted to have hot water again!
Throughout the process, Bryant remained quite professional and kept us informed about every step of the process. We're sure that House Call Company's proud to have Bryant Cueto on their service tech staff.

I've had 4 major issues in my house for a month now. A shower faucet leaking, a clog jacuzzi tub, an annoying loud noise when I flush my toilet, and a loose faucet in the kitchen. We finally went to Amrican Homeshield Website and put a trouble call for all of them. At the same day, they send House Call Company technician Brian Cueto to take a look at the issues. Brian has an easy to talk to personality, very knowledgable with his job, and an excellent customer service. He talked to American Homeshield and was able to approve 3 of the major issues. One they did not approve was the loose faucet in the kitchen. However, Brian was kind enough to let me borrow a special tool in his arnesenal to effectively fix the issue myself. He could have easily pushed the repairs a couple days back because he did not have the spare parts with him, but he actually drove to their supply depot and obtain the spare parts that he needed to resolve the issues on the same day. He was able to fix the 3 major issue in 3 hours. I am very happy with his work. As for American Homeshield, well... That's a different story.

I have never contacted a plumber or anyone of the sort to assist me with home repair, but when I heard a drip in my ceiling, I called House Call Company...as I knew I couldn't DIG such a job. Dean came out within the hour, was very professional, and took the time to educate me on everything that he was doing. I felt comforted in knowing the he wanted to exhaust every possible cause before taking more drastic steps. When he discovered the cause, I was devastated but again comforted by knowing the House Call Company was there to help. I have already recommended them to my sister and mom for their issues and definitely recommend them if you are looking for a company who values your business and time.

I was in dire straits, with our air conditioning unit leaking outside the overflow tray and the floor beginning to get soaked. I called the company, with whom we have a maintenance agreement, asking if someone could come at once. We had just completed repairs from an earlier overflow, resulting in extensive damage--two stories worth. The very sympathetic woman on duty must have relayed my request as urgent, for within two hours Dean arrived, addressed the leak, lifting the unit off the tray on metal straps, adding a second shut-off valve, and repositioning the tray. My husband and I are grateful to House Call for their courteous, prompt, and excellent service.

I've used the House Call Company since before they were known by that name and always had a good experience. My biggest issue being that I had to call them for my 'regular' seasonal maintenance.
In Oct. 2014, I got my whole HVAC system replaced (furnace, AC unit, and ductwork). Overall it went well, but a couple of the vents did not have anywhere near the output that all of the others did. I ask about it and was told it was likely due to those vents being the last in the line and another team could come and adjust the dampers, so I let it go for a while.
I continued to ask about it, but felt like I just got brushed off.
Finally, Dean was the serviceman that came to do my seasonal maintenance. Right away Dean said they'd make it right. He said they have a lifetime workmanship warrantee, which I had not heard before.
So while they've definitely not been perfect, they've always striven to make it right and they have, so that's why I give them 4 stars and continue to use them for my HVAC maintenance.

FAST response time!! Bryant C was friendly and professional. He was very knowledgable and kept my from freaking out at my raining kitchen. Bryant called my home warranty company several times without complaint and helping me as much as he could. Bryant needed to get my vanity removed and instead of making me take additional time off of work he got Chester to come out immediately. Chester's work was flawless and you could tell he enjoyed his work. These professionals were at my house helping me from 11:15am-7pm. By the end of the situation I was less stressed and able to laugh about what had happened, somewhat. I do not think I could have had a better outcome to a major issue.

I love this company. They are so helpful, responsive, and responsible. They don’t try and up-sell me things I would never want/need nor do they claim something needs to be done that doesn’t. Basically they are honest. If you want a great general contractor / a jack of all trades company so you only have one number to call of something breaks, you can’t go wrong with House Call Company.

Brand new HVAC system was installed less than a year ago. About 11K in price. A month ago maybe 2 tops, AC was acting up. So house call came out. Said there was a Leak. So tech did his thing & fixed it. Well guess what NEW HVAC system is acting up again. Just called. Explained everything an they said I would receive a call back. I asked if it would be today an got no guarantee. Absolutely ridiculous. 2 months after they came out the system is messed up again......Waiting on that phone call.

My experience with the House Call Company was great. I was having issues with my valve in my shower and bathtubs. The tech that they sent out to do the work was name bryant and he was absolutely awesome. He showed up on time. He was polite and curtious. More than anything he was very knowledgeable. He made sure he explained everything he would have to so that I was aware of the process all the way through. What I appreciate the most was that he fixed the problem correctly and in a timely manner. He also made sure I was satisfied with his work before he left. He cleaned up after himself and he wore shoe covers over his shoes, so that he didnt mess up my floors and carpet. If you need any plumbing done the House Call Company is the place to call. As for their tech Bryant they should clone more workers like him. He deserve 10 stars. Thanks Bryant for a job well done.

The first indication was when I called the office and Prayer answered with this How may we make you smile today.
As a sales professional focused on customer service, I could tell right away this was the right call.
The owner, Dean Thomasson, arrived on time to assess the problem. He diagnosed and begun the repairs immediately to the burst pipes from the deep freeze we had this week.
He was personable and provided insight as to what I could expect.
I was able to shower at 4 pm.
I swept up after he left and there was hardly anything in the dust pan. He came, he went and left me smilin','.

The first technician did not do a complete job diagnosing the problem with my furnace. The second technician seem to know more. With the first tech, he recommended replacing the furnace control board to the price of $1400, which still didn't fix the problem. I've called a second company to look into fixing my system completely. I was told that the $1400 price tag for the furnace board is way overpriced. Won't use House Calls ever again.

Outstanding company. They saved me thousands of dollars on a commercial HVAC solution, and now they are my Go-To people. After multiple quotes for a large system from other vendors, they came in, offered a cheaper solution, that was far more efficient. Other Commercial HVAC contractors gave me the impression of being unsure of what would be needed, but Dean came in, knew exactly what was required, offered multiple solutions, and executed my choice within days. My adult son uses them also, for residential. Highly recommend them, as they are honest, professional, and serious about customer service.

Andrew serviced my home as a result of a clogged main sewer line. It was an after hours call and most would expect the serviceman to approach the task with a 'ready to get it done' attitude. Andrew approached the task as if it was his first call of the day - listening to the details of what happened, taking the time to assess the property as a whole and the issue at hand, and allowing me the time to understand the process and my options as the homeowner. It was clear that Andrew's goal was to restore water service to my home with quality, care and concern for the customer first.

Andrew also took the time to include myself in the process explaining what was happening and why. As both a teacher and a single parent, the opportunity to learn and apply information about my home is invaluable. Despite the late hour, Andrew's work and approach were quality beyond my expectations. Ultimately the sewer line was restored as well as several other plumbing areas Andrew noticed were in need.
A rather refreshing approach and experience! I could not be more satisfied!!!!

Terrible experience from the beginning to the end. They installed a new unit in our house 3 and 1/2 years ago. We have had nothing but problems ever since. We have had issues each year with the unit. For the first three years of problems, we were not charged for parts or labor because we were told it was under warranty (Of course, we could not verify because they never gave us our warranty documentation). After 3 years, the company is all of the sudden charging us for labor and claiming that all of the other invoices were incorrect in taking off labor. Of course we have no documentation to verify, so it seems they are charging us what they want, when they want. They have been out multiple times this year and fixed multiple parts and the unit still didn't work properly. They eventually determined after all of the other repairs that this less than four year old unit is dead. The technician would plan a time to meet someone at the home and on multiple visits did not show up at the right time or date. The final work order was very misleading. One of the line items was to replace the compressor. The notes indicated that the compressor was cover under a parts warranty. So it appeared that the compressor line item (nearly $1500) would be covered under warranty. After CALLING to discuss with Raymond Walsh, he EMAILED us back claiming that we understood everything prior to authorizing work. He was very rude and insinuated that we were trying to not pay for the completed work. He threatened collections...all of this before discussing our confusion with us over a phone call. There were other frustrating details...too much to write down! Rude crooks if you ask me.

Needed the inside parts replaced in 3 toilets. Called HouseCall Company and they dispatched 2 very polite technicians who looked at the toilets and then told me they needed to go outside to work up a quote(felt like I was at a car dealership). When they came back in a little while later, they gave me a quote of over $1000. I was in total shock. They tried to explain that they had no control over the quote. When I told them there was no way I would be paying that they then told me I had to pay the dispatch fee. Absolutely ridiculous. If they would have quoted me that price over the phone (which they apparently can't because they do not know what all would be required or more like they need to see what all they can possibly add to the scam) I would not have had them come in the first place. Highly recommend not using this company.

The repairs have not yet been effected as parts were not immediately available, and due to other considerations concerning additional improvements which will need to be done after the first of the year. Great experience start to finish. Making the appointment was quick and easy, and they worked with my schedule, not wantuwa me to be available for several hours. The technician (Justin) notified me whenwhe was on his way, giving me ample time to be home and waiting. He was extremely knowledgeable and worked quickly, resolving my electrical issue easily. Called for an AC repair on a house we had a contract on for sale. They were to let themselves in via a contractor box and let me know what needed to be done. The AC wasn't reaching the desired temp by about 10 degrees and our realtor recommended we have it fixed prior to the inspection. My credit card was charged but I never received a call letting me know what the problem was. Several calls where they answered the phone wanting to make me smile, left me just frowning. I knew the owners name and asked to speak with him and left 3 messages for him to call me back. NO CALL from DEAN THOMASSON at all. Still after over a week, no call. Nate that answers the phone there was able to give me the info that the technician found the system working properly but the filters needed changing. Strangely, at the inspection a few days later, the inspector found water in the drip pan and that the system was not working up to speed. Not sure what we have done to deserve this kind of treatment. We used this company in the past and were satisfied with their service. Currently, very dissatisfied. I have called the credit card company to dispute the charges for coming out. Not sure they even did.

Definitely would NOT recommend. This company was recommended by my contractor that is remodeling my kitchen. My cold water line coming off of my water heater was leaking. The first day the plumber was here for 7 hours and the leak was still present and the stores were closed so he couldn't get additional parts. The next day he was at my house for 5 hours and could not get the leak to stop. He said that he would have to cut into the drywall to see if the PVC was leaking. They couldn't get me an estimate while he was here, so the plumber left with the leak still dripping and 16 hours of vacation time spent with no resolution. I find it absolutely unacceptable that a plumber would leave the site with the leak still occurring. The estimate was sent to my email and for an additional $900, I should let the technician make a visit for the 3rd time to attempt to diagnose/fix the problem. No thank you!! I will find a reputable plumber who can get the job done right the first time! Update: A new plumber came in this evening and fixed the leak in a half hour with no need to cut into the drywall. The House Call plumber had the wrong fitting. Saved myself over $800 by going to someone else.

Tech came to fix our toilet and leaky faucets through AHS Warranty but did not have proper equipment so has to come back next day. took care of toilet and repaired one faucet next day. told us they will come back when they have time to fix other faucets. he made all our house dirty and muddy, did not wear boots cover. worst is the shower/faucet he fixed now don't dispense HOT water (this was working fine before except for minor leak). called them back to see if they can fix it, tech says he doesn't have time and office says they cant come back till Monday (3-4 days). my father (handicap) uses that shower, I requested that he cant climb stairs to go to other bathroom but they don't care. asking me to get another plumber through AHS warranty. they don't give you time window for appointments.

Awesome!!! Everyone was very polite and nice!! Mr. Dean Thomason was awesome and he went above and beyond and addressed all my concerns regarding my bathtub. Wonderful company! Would highly recommend! I don't write reviews, so wish I could write a good one. Select Home Warranty sent this company out to check out a/c unit. Repair man said it would take $1200 to fix but suggested not waste money based on the age of the unit. New unit $3000. When I called the warranty company they said they could not honor warranty because unit had not been propertly serviced.
It was low on freon and the coil was dirty. When I realized they weren't going to pay I called a local company I'd used before. For $95 I was told the freon was full, the coil was less than a year old. An overflow value had gotten some debris in it and shut down the unit. And by the way the service man said he would come back for $250 cash after hours. As a lifelong business owner this stuff just makes me sad.

We bought our system directly from House Call Company. We later joined there membership maintenance program and were told someone would call us to set up a cleaning. It has been a disaster! Once we signed on and paid our first 2 months of membership they never sent anyone out to clean our system to verify that it was running properly. When our AC acted up in 100 degree heat in July they blamed us for not setting up the cleaning and voided our membership. The office staff was extremely rude and dishonest about the membership and accused us of harassing them after no returned phone calls. To avoid having to honor their membership agreement they cancelled our contract and refused service. I do not recommend their company to anyone.

I would like to score House Call Company a 10 for their exemplary customer service, and repairs; because of the outstanding professionalism and customer service from Mr. Bryant Cueto. As a representative of this company Mr. Cueto came into our home, evaluated the situation with our water heater, and explained in detail the services that were needed. He returned to perform the services, and we are very pleased. It is my desire that the Home Warranty company continue to contract with this company because they had to come out to do a repair that was not performed properly by another company initially.

The company provided a 3-hour window and the technician was there within the first hour. Very polite and professional. He stated that this was the easiest thermostat that he ever installed (and the first Honeywell WiFi programmable model) and wanted to purchase one for himself. Price was negotiated by Amazon ($74) for installation. Very reasonable. Took about one hour. I recommend this company for thermostat installation.

Bobby S came yesterday to correct some electrical problems we were having. Another electrician had come to hang a new chandelier for me a couple of weeks ago. I had him look at 2 ceiling fans that had both quit working on the same day. He got on a ladder, looked at them and said they were not fixable. I was so disappointed because I particularly love the one in the sunroom, and there is nothing like it on the market today. Very ornate and brass! Bobby looked at the two fans and almost immediately got the one in the FROG working. Then he spent a lot of time on the one in the sunroom and got it working like new! He made my day! He went beyond the call of duty! I think the first electrician knew it was going to be a tedious and difficult job and just didn't want to mess with it! I appreciate what Bobby S did so very much! He is an exceptional person and your company should be very proud to have him as an employee! I can't thank him enough for what he did for us!

Exceptional in every way. Not cheap, but very-very good. Diagnosed an issue that had been troubling our AC units for a year. The technician and sales manager were both at a level of HVAC understanding I have not seen in the past. Call them if you need a real answer for a real problem.

Great experience dealing with the house call company thus far. Im a new home owner in suffolk and had an older ac unit that had trouble keeping the house cool. Had a tech come out and look at it, he was very honest and told me my options and what he recommended. Ended up getting the whole unit replaced with them and couldn't be happier. I feel everyone I have dealt with has been honest and straight forward with me. Install was quick and professional by Alex, unit has been running great!

Man I feel robbed. Gentleman said he would unclog the main line for 100 bucks. Sounds to good to be true. It was. He put a 6 inch pc of plastic in my bathtub and said sorry can’t fix it like this. Gonna be $567.00 an hour. I straight up asked him so I pretty much wasted 100 bucks. His response was yeah pretty much. Please don’t be fooled by them.

I am in property management maintenance and I called on house call company to help with an A/C issue. Dean not only came out on a Sunday but within an hour , he had diagnosed and rectified the situation. I will use house call for all of my future issues. After talking to a few others companies about taking care of my damaged subfloor, House Call Company offered the best price. Dean came out after the project was started due to the damage being more than anticipated but the additional cost was still lower than the other companies. And Jaszmyn reached out by phone to schedule the project ASAP. Great company and staff. Will most likely be using this company in the future for other services and upgrades.

Dean and Phil came out immediately to service my furnace. They wore booties on their shoes to protect the carpet and each time they went outside, they took the booties off and reapplied them when coming back in. Dean and Phil were very professional and they took time to explain what was found. They made recommendations for various maintenance options and explained the purpose of each. I felt valued as a customer and will definitely call the company again for any service need I may have. The House Call Company is AWESOME!!!!!

Dean took the time to really look at the system I have at the house. He insured all the equipment inside was okay before tackling the outside unit. Once the issue was located, he made sure I understood what needed to be fix in easy to understand language. He even had recommendations to improve the system. I appreciated it.

Patrick was very helpful in explaining every step of the repair to me. He came out to diagnose a leak and by the end of the day he had the problem fixed. I did not expect to get a same day repair and was delighted when he informed me that he could be done with all of the work the same day. He also gave me a courtesy call 40 minutes before he came and insured that I was at home. This is a great company with great customer service.

Absolute Scam business. They came out to give a quote to install a Tesla wall charger for me. They were provided all the details in writing at what was needed. Once I confirmed it was for a Tesla they doubled the cost and then tried to extort a great review out of me to get a discount. Tried reaching out to the management to see what was going on and they tried to tell me that there was no one to talk to. There are many other places out there to call and I recommend all of them over this place.

Bryant C provided outstanding plumbing assistance during his recent visit!
From start to finish he knew exactly what my plumbing problem was and fixed it! He was very professional in his appearance and a pleasant person to do business with. Everyone he interacted in the household found him to be very professional!

The appointment was scheduled for 1 pm on Saturday. About an hour and a half before I received a phone call from Lee Anne saying I don't know why they scheduled me on Saturday. I don't do this on Saturday. Since I live three hours away, this was rather frustrating and very disappointing.

I needed a water line replaced from my well tank to the house and a new electrical outlet installed. Sarrah , the person writing the quote, listened to what I needed and did not try to sell me something I did not need. The company does sub-contract, so I had a sub-contractor do the plumbing work and a House Call employee, Devon, complete the electrical work. There was a slight hick-up between the time I was told the workers would arrive and the actual time they showed up, about 90 minutes late. Once the workers did arrive, they were very professional, worked quickly, and did an excellent job. I would use them again.

Gunnar B from House Call Company came to my house on 10/09/20 to perform a semiannual inspection and maintenance on my Trane HVAC unit - consisting of the following: airhandler, heatpump, and propane furnace. In his performance of the inspection/maintenance I felt like Gunnar had the knowledge and experience necessary to do the job well and I was satisfied with his work. I would recommend him.

I received a verbal quote for two simple plumbing repairs from a trusted contractor referral for over $800. When I said it sounded high, the technician asked for my credit card for an $89 diagnostic fee that was not disclosed upfront. If you have a fee because you don’t trust your own ability to win the referred business, then at least disclose it! After being upset over the way this was handled and refusing to pay an undisclosed fee, I decided to call them back on the phone and hold off on my decision until I had received a second quote to confirm my suspicions. A friend referred a new independent plumber whom I do not know. He quoted $100 to replaced the spout and fix the leaking handle. Obviously, when Thomasson Enterprises called today, I was very upset, and I had a few choice words about companies that try to take advantage. This could have easily been handled with an apology for not quoting the upfront fee and letting it go. Lastly, no one ever offered to even apply the fee to the repair as most do. Not that it would have mattered in this case. This is very telling...they knew once I received a new quote, it would be over. Girl in the office talked over me and tried to say my plumber whom I did not know was doing me a favor and more. She does not know him either! Really...come on. Shame!

Terrible customer service!!! We submitted a request for service via the website and received a confirmation email saying someone would call us shortly to confirm and schedule an appointment. No One Ever Called. So we called them, to again, request an appointment for Monday. The lady we spoke to said they were available Wednesday and we said we were going to call around instead since this situation can't wait. She insisted that she could get a technician out here by Tuesday at the latest. Since she sounded confident that they had time for us, we agreed and we were put on a 'list' for the day and would receive a phone call approximately 30 minutes before the technician arrives. No One Ever Called. We called back to see what happened to our appointment and a different lady said that the previous person that 'helped' us didn't submit a second ticket and that she could set us up with an appointment an entire week later! We obviously can't wait and the only thing that she could say to us is shes sorry and could schedule an appointment for 6 days from now..... No thanks.... Obviously prospective customers are of no importance, I can't imagine how they treat you once they've gotten your money

First thing to note is a lot of the reviews here appear to be fake.. General rule of thumb... f you see a reviewer with only one or two reviews, I can almost guarantee it’s either fake or the customer was given a discount in exchange for a good review which by the way is illegal and anyone that had been duped by this company can sue them for false advertising, prohibited by the Lanham Act (a federal law). I really hope you can justify your reviews House Call!
Onto the review.. My neighbor found these crooks online. She was having issues with her gas HVAC unit. It Did not have any power going to it and no heat. One of their guys came out and gave them an outrageous $2500 estimate to replace a system board and a few other things. When they re-fused to pay that he said they still owed him $695 for the estimate. They paid it unfortunately but are fighting their credit card company to get it back. The next day they called up An actual HVAC technician. He came out and replaced the gas valve (totally different part then what these crooks said was wrong) . Total with parts was $295.
These guys are nothing but crooks. Avoid them at all costs. They give you an outrageous estimate that they know you will decline just so they can get paid for the estimate. We have recordings of the entire conversation in case they deny anything.

We just bought a new house in the Virginia Beach area. During the walk through before the sale, one of the issues flagged to be fixed was a leaking toilet in the master bath. We were notified by the owner's realtor that the problem had been fixed and during the walk through the toilet leak seemed to be gone. Imagine our dismay when we walked into the house after the sale, began cleaning and soon discovered water POURING out through the bolt hole in the toilet, arghh! Called House Call and Jeffrey came out to check on the problem for us. He noticed the bottom edge of the toilet had been caulked (a no no) so he pulled the toilet, replaced the wax ring, and cleaned the whole area (even though this had supposedly already been done). Jeffrey was knowledgeable and very professional. His work was A1, we would definitely have him back again to fix plumbing issues in our house.

My experience with House Call Company was great. I had two Leaks in my home that needed to be taken care of. The House Call Company rep. that came out was Bryant Cueto. He showed up in a very professional manor, from his clean uniform to his professionalism of the job he had to do. He was also friendly and very informative as to what he had to do. He actually came out twice and the secound time he was with his co worker Mr. Chester who also ariived in the same manor off cleanliness and professionalism and did and outstanding job. After the work was done they cleaned up and left my home looking just as clean as it was before any work was perfomed. I would highly reccomend this company and those two reps to anyone who needed any plumbing or any other services for their home.
