Best Kitchen Sink Repair in Chesapeake VA

I needed a gas regulator replacement on my meter and this company gave me one quote for $900 the first time then came back a day later and gave me a quote for $1700! I asked them if they could explain the charges or send me an itemization of what was being performed. I knew the part on the high end was about $200, but the labor alone was $1100! This job is quick as I removed the previous one in under 45 mins. I asked why so expensive and the receptionist said it is what it is. I reported this company to the BBB and went with a local competitor who charged me under $800 for thebwhole job. This company is not good and with their attitude and unprofessionalism when I asked questions about the quote was offputting. I would not recommend them to anyone and if I could give 0 stars I would.

After hours of calling other companies, Ali-Cor was at our house within an hour of reaching them. Our main water valve was broken and they were able to quickly fix it and get our water back on! They were very professional and did amazing work.

After having a horrible experience with Drain Masters Plumbing & Drain (DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM) to repair my shower faucet knob and my Home Warranty company having issues of finding another company to come out and repair the knob on this holiday weekend, I called A-1 to see if they could come out and repair it for me. The technician arrived at my home on time. He was very polite, and professional. I explain to him what was going and he was able to repair everything within less than 30 minutes. I knew I should have called them first instead of waiting for my home warranty company to find someone on their list of contractors to help me. Wasted a $100 service request call dealing with DRAIN MASTERS PLUMBING & DRAIN (DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM)!! From now on I'll be calling A1 Sewer & Drain. Thank you so much!!

I called RotoRooter on 9/26 to request help due to a baked up sewer drain. They initially gave me a expected arrival time for their technician of about 10:15 am. I received numerous calls from RotoRooter indicating they would be later and eventually showed up around 4:30 PM. The technician was nice, but didn't seem very motivated. He attempted to find a clean out but was unable to find one and said that a toilet would need to be removed to clear the sewer line. To save money I pulled the toilet myself which took about 10 minutes. He began the process and realized that the snake was coming up in the adjacent toilet. He then informed me that the only way to clean the line was to go on the roof and clear it from the sewer vent pipe, but he was not allowed to go on the roof. He named a few companies that he thought would do the work and prepared to leave, Since I didn't want to have to wait another day for someone to come out and I needed the bathrooms, I suggested that we cut the vent pipe where it went thru the attic and clear the line from there. He agreed and then said they do that all the time. I wondered why he didn't suggest that instead of me. He did clear the blockage and patched the hole he cut in the vent pipe. The next day I had the same problem.The technician that came out this time was more experienced and very motivated and showed up in a more timely manner. He proceeded to climb on the roof and inserted a camera snake into my sewer line which showed the blockage and condition of the line and also cleared the blockage. He explained that the reason for the blockage was most likely the type of paper that I was using (Charmin) and the fact the newer water efficient toilet I have probably didn't push enough water thru the line to clear all the sewage. He was very confident that if I changed the brand of toilet paper to a more septic friendly type I would not have anymore problems. I have changed to the brand he recommended, but only time will tell if that really works. So far good.I think the work could have been done in one visit had the more experienced tech come the first time and would have saved me a lot of aggravation. I also though their fee was high, but of course it was the weekend.

I’m doing a diy kitchen install, I saw Dave’s truck at a stop light and knew I would need some help installing the plumbing so I took a picture of his truck and I’m so glad I did. Within two days he was at my house for a quote. He told me he would be able to do the work the next day. When he showed up in the morning I wasn’t quite ready and he said no problem he would come back… most plumbers or big companies would have had me reschedule but it was no problem for him. He came back with one of his partners Mike Harrison (with Harrison contracting). Mike noticed some stuff the previous owners had done that was not up to code and he fixed it with no issues. Dave installed the plumbing for my sink, dishwasher and fridge. Amazing craftsmanship, very affordable and most of all he cares. They don’t make many people like Dave anymore. I will call him for all my plumbing needs and anything else I need fixed in my house I will call him for recommendations because I know whoever associated with Dave Richardson will do it right.

Didn't want to write an estimate for a job over 500.00 or so - we wanted to know what and how much - didn't need the work I guess , we will find someone else, more honest company

My kitchen sink has been clogged for the longest time and many plumbers have tried to fix it with little success. I've tried six different plumbers and only Alonzo Aungon from Roto-Rooter in Norfolk was able to fix it. He came in, took his time, did a great job, and clearly explained to me what the problem was and how he was going to fix it. I highly recommend Alonzo and Roto-Rooter and will call them whenever I have plumbing issues from now on!
