Great company!! They were responsive and professional.

Had a clogged toilet and neither repeated plunging or snaking worked. So I called Precision at 9AM & was told by Melissa that a Plumber would be there in about an hour. I had an afternoon commitment at 1PM and wouldn't be home, but this timetable sounded OK to me, so I went with it. At 10:30 when I hadn't heard anything more, I called back and was told the Plumber was on his way and coming from South Norfolk, about a 20 minute ride, and he would call me. When I heard nothing by 1120, I called back to Melissa and told her I had an afternoon commitment and if the Plumber couldn't get there soon, I would have to go with someone else. And that no one called me. And I mentioned an apology would be nice. To that, Melissa said I'll mention that to the. . . uh, I apologize... The Plumber called me 15 minutes later and told me he had been working jobs in Virginia Beach all morning and was currently in Greenbrier - and had NOT been in South Norfolk as Melissa had told me previously. I told him it was too late and went with a different company. Precision Plumbing was a waste of my time.

This is a great company! I had a leak in my water heater pipe and had to go without water for the night, not fun:( The next day I was put in touch with Precision Plumbing. Robert came out and located the problem and had it fixed before I knew it. Wow.....I was so relieved and impressed as well. I will definitely use this company in the future.

I had a broken toilet line in my crawl space. My former regular plumber couldn't be bothered to get back to me when they would be able to come out. The second plumber I called said that I would have to have a cleanup company come first. Really? You only do pristine clean plumbing? really? Then I called Precision, told them my circumstance, and they had someone out the next day to take care of it. Their business card is now on my fridge.

We had our Quest pipes replaced by Precision Plumbing. We were told to expect it to be a messy job and it was. We were expecting a mess however, we were not expecting a complete lack of respect for our home. There were several holes cut in walls where there were no pipes, water left standing on wood floors, plastic was put down after they had cut the holes, so it protected nothing, and the holes that were cut, were not in any way straight. We later found out that the person who was cutting the holes had only been on the job for a few weeks and he was not supervised. When we had a leak after they left, I called and was told that I would be charged for an after hours call if they came out. Thankfully my husband was able to stop the water.

As a response to Precision’s response, they did not honor the quote from February, $600 was added to that quote and I was told it was because the price of parts had increased that much from February to June.

The scheduling staff was pleasant, the technician team was professional, fixing the problem quickly when others could not. The technicians were puntional and left the home as clean as it was when they arrived. Our go -to from now on into the future for sure. Five stars for sure !!

Precision plumbing was recommended to me by a friend who has been using them for many many years… I contacted them the next day and actually spoke to the owner of the company. I had a few plumbing repairs that needed to be addressed he immediately put me in contact with the main office and set me up for an appointment the following day. The office staff set everything up very professionally and texted me the next day when the technician was on his way. Day before Thanksgiving had a clog in kitchen sink. This company came out at midnight and was here until 230 to have my sink fixed for Thanksgiving.

Once again, these guys saved the day for me. I had no water in the house due to a broken outside faucet gushing water. With no local cutoff valve I had to turn the water off at the street. I called Precision and they took great care of me. They got here fast and made the repair, they fixed the other outside faucet at the same time so everything is good to go. Robert even dropped the price because the job didn't take as long as he thought it would. Robert and Paul are rock stars of the plumbing industry, I'll never call anyone else for plumbing issues. They are fast, friendly, fair, professional and know their business. Great guys doing a great job at reasonable rates, what more could you ask for?

We were having a dishwasher installed when the installer was unable to cut the water off due to a faulty valve. We were unable to contact our regular plumber so we looked online, found Precision Plumbing and while looking thru the reviews found one with the exact same problem. We called and made an appointment in short order. Jimmy came and replaced the valve quickly. He was very professional and cleaned up. They charged a reasonable price. I was very happy and won’t hesitate to call on them for the next plumbing issue. Our dishwasher was installed later the same day.

I called Precision Plumbing first thing in the morning with a plumbing emergency. My Mom just had hip replacement surgery and the bathroom downstairs was the only one that she could use. The toilet wasn’t draining right and it was leaking. Precision Plumbing made my emergency their priority and got the bathroom fixed the same day so that my Mom had a working bathroom as she recovered from surgery. I am truly grateful.

We recently had some renovations done that included plumbing not done by precision. After a week of taking showers and using toilets everything backed up. Scott & Malik were amazing. They took the time to diagnose my issue and went above and beyond in locating our sewer main clean out. We have owned this home for 30 years and never knew it existed or where it was located until Scott went under the house and tracked it down. Even in the rain, Scott and Malik did everything thoroughly and made sure it was done right. This is my third time using Precision and I have always been impressed. I also want to give Kudos to Scott for being thorough, informative, and respectful to his apprentice. I love seeing more and more kids getting into the trades and having the right teacher can make all the difference!

As a Realtor, it's important to have service providers that represent you well when doing work for your clients and Precision did just that! There was a surprise plumbing pipe that leaked severely on closing day and Precision was able to coordinate an extensive job to be done that required drilling into the slab and replacing all of the piping. Kelly was amazing with communication, invoices, and working with me to meet deadlines. Robert is one of the owners that came out to detect the leak which was a huge relief that saved us a day instead of waiting for another company to do it. He also came back out the day the work began to get the work going before the rest of his crew started. The crew got the work done in a timely manner and it was an all around solid experience so I highly recommend them!

My shower drain had been gurgling for months so I decided to call Precision Plumbing to check it out. They came by and jetted as well as putting a camera down the drain and ultimately discovering that the issue was in the way my drain was reconstructed when I converted from a tub to a walk in shower.

The employees, Justin and Drew, could have not been any nicer throughout this whole thing. Very thorough young men both in their work ethics and their explanation to me. Would I recommend them? Oh, heck yeah.

These guys are great! My 90 year old mother-in-law recently experienced a significant blockage in her main sewer pipe, and was given a very high estimate for replacement by the company who she paid to clear it. We found Precision Plumbing & Drain during a google search and could not have been more pleased. They provided a reasonable estimate, called the day before the work was scheduled, arrived on the planned day, and finished the job at the estimated price. My mother-in-law was particularly impressed with Andrew, the person who scheduled the work; and with Scott and Blake, the on-site guys who made her feel very comfortable during the entire process. Started laundry and discovered water on the floor of the bathroom and toilet kept bringing up water. Usual Plumber called and came but the equipment he needed was in the shop and he recommended Precision Plumbing to do the job well and not over charge. When called I was told they would be out that day and would give me a 20 min heads up. They came that day and had fixed everything within an hour. I was very impressed with the service we received today. We had to call a plumber to replace a hot water valve under our kitchen sink. Best Buy was ready to install a new dishwasher yesterday. It couldn’t be completed due to a corroded hot water valve. Looked up plumber recommendations on NextDoor and Precision Plumbing had a lot of positive recommendations. So I called and they came today (next day) and fixed it without price gouging us (knowing we were desperate due to a new dishwasher now sitting in my garage waiting to be installed). Eric came out to check out my leaky garbage disposal and was very kind and professional and upfront about the replacement of it. Josh came out two days later and did the work and was really pleasant to chat with while he did the work. I hope I don't need a plumber in the near future, but if I do, I know who I'm calling.

This is a fantastic peerless company. I've been using Precision Plumbing since last fall. They've always sent Mike and most times his helper as well. Absolutely stellar work. Fantastic professional. Excellent teacher/educator. Strongly and most highly recommend. Customer service are always very nice, helpful and polite.

We were going to replace our toilet ourselves, pulled up the old toilet to realize the floor was unlevel and our flange was broken. Called precision plumbing.
We were assured the unlevel floor wouldn't be an issue as they use rubber shims and the toilet will not rock or they will come fix it for a year. Made an appointment between 2-4 on Friday, May 8th. At 11:53, my husband received a text stating the plumber would arrive within 10 minutes. We were both at work- I had to rush home. The plumber started work at 12:15 and was packed up, writing an invoice by 12:40.

Later that day, I notice the toilet is rocking so badly you can hear water sloshing on the inside when you stand up. I then notice scratches leading up to the toilet on the floor I had installed less than 24 hours prior. At this point I am highly upset and call the company. The tech that returned my call literally blew my mind. The first words from his mouth were that my toilet was rocking because my newly installed floor wasn't level. The flooring is peel and stick tile and did not alter the profile of the floor. Nonetheless, we were assured that their shims would prevent this. As far as I can tell, the first person didn't even install shims. This guys fix was to install plastic shims (not rubber as mentioned before) and poorly caulk around the toilet- it's bad. When he got caulk on his hand he reached into the toilet water to rinse it off. I was told on more than one occasion a manager would follow up with me on Monday. I have received no contact a day later. Reconsider hiring precision if you desire a good finished product.

Our toilet tank wouldn’t stop refilling, and we knew we had to call a plumber. After a week of fiddling around with it I called them today. The woman who answered the phone answered on the first ring, and was so professional. She said she would have someone out within 15-20 minutes! I was shocked - especially since their office is in Chesapeake and I live in Norfolk. Kenny arrived and immediately figured out what the problem was. He was friendly, but not overly-chatty... which is awesome when you are alone in your house. Seriously this was the fastest a plumber has accepted an appointment, and fixed the issue. Plus, he had one of those card swiper things so I could pay immediately. I didn’t have to write a check or use cash (even though he let me know I could pay any of those ways). Highly recommend Precision Plumbing and feel ridiculous that I didn’t call them sooner!

Called yesterday about a leaking shower and was scheduled immediately for 9AM today. They called back to reschedule due to a previous commitment at 9 and rescheduled for 12PM. Scott arrived and immediately diagnosed the issue and acquired the correct part and got us up and running again in short order. Very happy that I called them, especially that they give a military discount. I will definitely call them for my next plumbing need.

I have used this company many times for various plumbing issues at my commercial buildings. They never let me down. Fast service, they do a great job & the techs are knowledgable & polite.

We have a sewer line that gets clogged about ever 4 years from a sewer line that needs to be replaced, but some people can't drop 2k+. I called over the weekend, but decided to hold off to avert after hour charges. They had a tech out the following Monday and problem was fixed in under an hour. The tech was very professional. They will be our go to plumbing company from now on.

Precision Plumbing gets 5 stars from me. We had an emergent situation with a leaky faucet in the shower that went sideways after a DIY attempt following instructions in a YouTube video. We had to cut the water off at the main, and what was worse is we had company staying with us. Called on Wednesday evening after attempting to replace a toilet, saw the flange was damaged beyond my (limited) DIY scope. I am right in the middle of renovating my kitchen and found the inlet valves for my kitchen sink leaking. I called late morning to see about having someone to look at it. Joe showed up in 30 MINUTES. He came in, evaluated the kitchen sink and was done with repairs in another 30 minutes. He even configured it in a convenient way for where we are moving the dishwasher.

I failed to check all other valves before letting Joe leave and found another issue in my bathroom. I called Joe immediately and he was able to turn around to come right back. Another repair done in under 20 minutes.

He provided the best suggestion for repairs and upfront pricing. I swear I thought I was getting a deal because the owner is my neighbor, but its normal pricing. You really won't find better service or more reasonable prices. I will never use any other plumbing service again.

Great experience with Precision Plumbing today. My washing machine drain was clogged to the point that it was overflowing onto the garage floor and even backing up into the kitchen sink. After wasting a couple of hours attempting to clear the clog myself with my puny 25 ft snake, I decided to salvage the rest of my day and call the professionals. I chose Precision Plumbing because of their Google and Nextdoor reviews. I called at 9:40 am and spoke with Melissa; she was polite and professional. She said I could expect a plumber to arrive between 11 am - 2 pm. At 11:15, Scott called to tell me he was about 15 minutes out. He pulled into my driveway 13 minutes later. He spent a couple minutes assessing the situation and asking me questions about my problem. Then he went right to work. Scott was quite professional, patiently answering all my questions while he cleared the clog. The price was more than fair. I have found my plumber and will be recommending them to my friends and neighbors.

Due to a misunderstanding, Precision Plumbing showed up for an appointment I had canceled. They still took the time to not only look at the problem (it was the townhome next to mine with the leak) but because I mentioned my toilet, they checked that too. When I placed a call, it was answered on the 2nd ring and the lady on the phone sounded very professional. Scott Hobbs called me 15 minutes prior to arriving, he was right on time for the time bracket I was advised. Scott is extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk to and very personable. He was here to help with 2 toilets that constantly leaked due to bad flappers which he successfully replaced. I was, also, able to get some pricing for future plumbing calls. My tankless hot water tank began leaking and I needed a new one installed. I was living in a rental home when I experienced their service as this is who my landlord chose to send out. My shower head was leaking and the faucet needed to be completely replaced. They needed to saw off a piece due to it being too old and unable to properly unscrew. This required some extra tools and made quite a nasty mess to say the least. The job ended up being completed correctly, but to my surprise the worker left my shower a complete disaster! He did not have the decency to even attempt to clean up any of the mess left behind at all! I’m talking about metal dust everywhere and nasty black water splattered all over the shower and glass. It was disgusting and I was left to clean it all up. The worker rushed out of my home so quickly after being done, that I didn’t even have time to see and address the problem. How unprofessional. For this reason, I would never recommend this company to anyone.

We had a problem with the drain in the tub/shower of our very old rental (parts are no longer standard) and got professional help fixing the problem.

I called Precision yesterday afternoon and Robert came over this morning. I needed to replace an outside hose bib and install a shut-off valve for the hose bib in a very tight spot. He knocked it out fast. More importantly, what a great guy. He was definitely not interested in trying to make the job bigger than it needed to be or looking for other problems. Charged a very reasonable price. Very likable and good communication skills. He is my new plumber and you shouldn't hesitate to make him your plumber too. I have already recommended him to a friend.

Fixing toilet with part I supplied was a very quick fix but was charged more than when Precision came to clean wash machine drain and then kitchen drain which took much longer and required snaking.

We couldn't be happier with the service provided by Precision Plumbing! Of course our water heater took a dump on a Saturday morning of a holiday weekend when we were expecting company and hosting brunch. We immediately called the home warranty company and they hooked us up with these guys. They were able to come out Saturday afternoon and while they couldn't find a hot water heater comparable to our old one that same day, they were able to restore water to the house and fit us into their schedule for that Monday. They arrived on schedule, quickly got the job done with a great new commercial unit, explained the warranty on it and even gave me some tricks of the trade for extending the life of the unit. This is the second time in the last couple months that I've had an occasion to use the services. These technicians were extremely pleasant and had the knowledge necessary to result the problem.

They fixed my problem and knew what it was as soon as they showed up. Got rid of a main line clog from roots. I’ll never use another plumber again. They have my business for life.

All around great, I got a large quote from another company to replace my entire drainage system. Precision got me up and running for 1/4 the cost agreeing that a lot of the work was not necessary to do right now unless I had money burning a hole in my pocket. I have 4 kids, idk what that kind of money is like! 100% all around great, nice and professional guys, very informative.

Our gas tankless water heater would start off hot, then it would start cooling down, never getting hot again. We initially called the company that put in the tankless a few years ago, but they said it was a plumbing problem. We knew it wasn't, so we called Precision & they said they would send someone out the next morning. Robert came. He was very thorough, found the problem, fixed it & also replaced a steel fitting that was showing corrosion with a
brass one. It's so nice to have hot water again.

Service was great found the leak pretty quickly though it was in the wall. Fixed the leak and proceeded to clear the drain that caused the water to back up and rust the pipe causing the leak. Was a pretty bad clog that took some time to clear, which showed to be cleared but after using the sink for a while it started to back up again and when we called Precision they came back and worked the clog again until it was cleared.

I got home after work around 11pm to find that my kitchen sink and guest bathroom sink had been backed up something I already knew about but was waiting to take care of by the end of the month. I called around 9am the following morning and they got someone out by 4pm. I do not remember the man's name but was pleasant to be around, I let him know that I had try to snake it myself a few weeks back but with a hand crank snake but was unable to unlodge anything. Upon hearing this he pulled out a power snake and got to work under the kitchen sink then after went to the roof which confused me, but found out that 2 pipes uptop are linked to the plumbing. After work the roof he told me to run both sinks for a bit of time and run some dawn dish soap to help break away what may be left. Both sinks ran fine and the leaking coming from the dishwasher stopped as it could finally drain and wasnt a blown gasket.
Even though I had to take the day off from work which is not their fault, was easy and quick. I will call them again for any plumbing needs in the future.

I needed a gasket put on a PVC pipe and after that was done in my bathroom I just asked if a noise in my kitchen pipe was normal the guy came to my kitchen heard the water running said it was the trap and was fine and all this was $213. Younger guys yet knowledgeable. I have a 70+ year old home which is hard to maintain and they did a great job accommodating that situation. Prompt service. I will do business with them again. Cons: expensive, but they all are so they are comparable.

We have now used Precision on two plumbing projects and I could not be happier with their work. Our property has some tricky older plumbing, so we are used to things not being easy but Precision has made it smooth sailing. The first repair they did involved the installation of an outdoor main line clean out which has helped to significantly reduce backups in our line and to allow easy access for future snaking/clean outs that are necessary due to original construction. They were even gentle with the landscaping in the work area which has not been the case in the past with other contractors/companies. The second involved a leak under our kitchen sink. Both plumbers were punctual, communicative, and open about our options. The work has always been solid, timely, and reasonably priced. They are our go-to plumbers now.

Mike removed and replaced two shower arms, heads and mixer valve cartridges and trim that had been in use for 30 years, and a kitchen sink faucet set that had been in use for about 20 years both of which the Hampton Roads well water had finally bested. He was efficient, quite knowledgeable and resourceful, able to think outside the box, willing to go the extra mile to accomplish the job to solve an inadvertent shower valve cartridge series mismatch (caused by us and the plumbing supply company), went right to work and did not waste any time, was courteous and friendly, and cleaned up the work area when done. Once he saw the scope of the job he calculated an estimate on the spot and was absolutely correct in stating that the time his office allowed for the job was insufficient, but that did not affect the quality of the work performed or cause him to rush through things. This is the 3rd or 4th time we've used Precision Plumbing in the last 6+ years and have been overall very satisfied with 95% of the work they've done (there was one glitch a while back but that did not diminish my overall opinion of the company). Next time we need a plumber we'll call Precision and will ask for Mike.

I’ve used Precision Plumbing three times now for plumbing jobs outside my abilities. A sewer line tree root intrusion, sprinkler well pump plumbing overhaul, and a hot water heater replacement. I’m fairly particular about house projects, and I’ve always had my expectations exceeded with Precision Plumbing and seen a great value with paying them for their work. Also have been impressed with their promptness on communication and ability to complete a job with short notice.

The smell in our bathroom was terrible! Joe Salinardi was very professional, closing the door behind him so it wasn’t too loud. And he was very friendly, always had a smile even. He did a great job cleaning up. Most importantly fixed the problem and explained what he did and why he did it. Definitely recommend Joe!

We’ve used Precision Plumbing for several plumbing problems. We’ve always found their plumbers to be very friendly and willing to answer questions. They also show up on time and their fees are reasonable and in line with those charged by other plumbers.

Same day appointment to replace an inoperative water heater, techs arrived on time and quickly completed the replacement, very impressed with Precision Plumbing and most highly recommend them for plumbing work.

I called Precision Plumbing for a second opinion/evaluation on a leaking pipe that the first company told me would be a half day job which would involve removing my water heater and cutting a hole in my wall to access the leaking pipe. I called Precision Plumbing and Zack arrived in half an hour, assessed the situation, found the leak, removed a section of wall through my den and the leak was repaired within 20 minutes. This is the third time I’ve used Precision Plumbing! Malik and Kenny are the ones who came the first two times and this time Malik came alone. Each service and repair have been exceptional and very professional! I will NEVER use another company!! I’m happy to say that “Precision Plumbing & Drain Cleaning” are my plumbers for life and I will ALWAYS recommend them! Asked plumber to use alternate methods to unclog but refused

I am extremely happy with Precision Plumbing. My toilet needed to be replaced, so I checked Google for the best rated plumbers in the area. I called over half a dozen, none of which would give me a quote over the phone. They all wanted to send out someone out to give the estimate, which would cost X number of dollars. Of course, that fee would apply towards the work, if we went ahead. Nope. I called Precision and they gave me an estimate over the phone, so I went with them. The plumber showed up on time and was kind enough to pick up the toilet I bought at Home Depot, as I can't lift it due to a broken rib. He installed the new toilet quickly, did a great job and left the bathroom clean. There was only one issue. They had charged me a higher rate than quoted. When I brought it to their attention, they admitted their mistake, took responsibility, and immediately resolved the issue. I do not feel they were trying to cheat me in any way or get out of it, even though it lost them $75. I would definitely use them again .

We woke up to no hot water. Precision Plumbing was called, and they arrived promptly at the time agreed upon. They quickly fixed the problem, and the cost was reasonable. Definitely will use them again.
